I've come here twice and both visits were disasters. They charged me 160$. Just to tell me that my speakers were blown out. Then currently today they took 2 hours to install a stereo that I bought brand new. They installed it for 100$. But they didn't plug in my subwoofer like really if they wanted more money. I would've paid but the guy kept saying that he didn't have the time that I'd have to go again. Like really that's not fair at all they were supposed to finish there job all the way not half way. They were true slackers I never felt so taken advantage of as today. They kept on saying that it was my fault for buying the stereo that I bought. At the end the guy told me that he could make it work he just didn't feel like doing the work today what kind of business are they running if they don't even want to work or give good customer satisfaction. I feel like if I payed them to simply switch out the stereo I have they should leave my stereo working fine like as I came in. I don't usually write review. Here is the story: One of my HID light bulbs got burned out, so I was looking for a place to buy a new set and do a installation. I found Vision Performance on Yelp, so I decided to give it a try. I took my Honda Civic 06 there today (3-28-2009), and talked to Crosby, he is really friendly and helpful. Since their price is reasonable, so I decided to get a set of HID Kit for my fog light too. They finished the installation (2 HID Kits) within 3 hours. (Same Day Service!!!) Although the store is smaller than I have expected, but who cares, all I care is service and pricing. I highly recommend Vision Performance if you need repair or installation for HID Kit and audio system. read more

Drove by one day and thought it was some riced out import shop so I didnt think they would do Euro cars. But I brought my BMW M3 by and they totally gave me a great deal on the hourly rate and parts, I know a lot cheaper than a Bimmer dealership would thats for darn sure. They even invited me into the garage to show me what they were going to do on the engine since I "Bo diddly" about cars. Since then I have driven from San Mateo to have my wheels, radio, interior, and struts replaced there. The owner was really professional and down to earth. Its in a great area in Sunset with a great coffee shop nearby and lot of cafes..you can even walk down to Ocean Beach if you have the time. Best shop in SF. read more

I got a "correction ticket" for not having a front license plate, and I called Vision Performance. The guy who answered the phone (who I later found out was named Mike) had a couple of ideas for attaching the plate. Since he was busy at the time, he recommended that I come in a little later, which I did. He walked out to my car with me (on crutches!) came up with a quick and easy solution, lay down on the street and took care of the problem right then and there without having to deface the nice lines on the car. I had trouble with my windshield wipers, and had the motor replaced by my mechanic. Strangely enough, my alarm system wouldn't lock the doors or work at all. My mechanic checked it out and said I might need a new alarm. I called Vision Performance and talked to Mike , trying to figure out what was wrong. I dropped my car off and in an hour and a half, all they had to do was change the fuse. Voila, everything works great. Mike and Crosby were very fair and I would recommend this business to anyone. This place is full of young kids who have no idea what they are doing. The only person who is credible for their work is Cosby, the rest are garbage. I've brought my car here before for my Clifford alarm because you are covered with the warranty when your alarm is installed in a shop. When I went back and backtracked the wires it was a mess. They cut all the wires not knowing before hand and tape your wires back with electrical tape. I was pretty pissed and ended up soldering all the wires back together, not to mention extend my clutch wire which was the one centimeter long. Their yelp rating is definitely fixed. Highly do not recommend this place to ANYONE. Unless you want to manipulate car products. read more
