I had been going to the same optometry practice for years, but had some concerns, so this year I opted for a second opinion and found Vision Optique, here on Yelp. This practice is great. The staff is very courteous and informative. They do make you aware that the initial visit will take extra time. Since I had concerns about my previous care, I was happy to have the extra time with Dr. Owens. This is the most thorough, comprehensive exam I've EVER had. I visited this clinic for the first time today and had a new patient exam with Dr. Johnson. The office is very nice and conveniently located. The staff is helpful, friendly, and efficient. I was seen on time, and was able to do electronic paperwork prior to the visit. I would say my experience with Dr. Johnson was the best eye appointment I've ever had (she is the third optometrist I have seen to date). She was very nice and thorough. She took the time to actually explain what she was doing and review the results of my exam. I highly recommend Vision Optique and Dr. Johnson specifically. The doctors here accept my vision insurance in addition to several others. The doctors' schedules seem to be rather busy, so if you are considering scheduling an appointment here, I would recommend planning ahead (I had to schedule about 1.5 to 2 weeks out). read more

Ok, this is a great place. My daughter has worn glasses for years and I've taken her to several doctors, but this is for my visit. My first eye exam in 10 years after lasik (I'm getting old). Thorough exam, great staff. I saw Dr. Owens. I had to get glasses (downside), but that's expected. Big selection and if you don't like the choices or price, no problem to take the prescription and shop elsewhere. My daughter will be visiting Vision Optique her exams from now on too! read more

I found Dr. Owens close to 20 years ago. He was the first eye doctor in my life who was persistent (and succcessful) in helping me have the best vision I could possibly have. Dr. Marcaccio is amazing! I have an issue where I've never been able to wear contacts due to the shape of my eyes. Well Dr. Marcaccio took that as a challenge. She ordered and tried about 5 different brands on me. Alas, none of them worked but I really appreciated the effort as no other place went to those depths to try to find one that works. I ended up getting new glasses instead. The entire staff is awesome and very nice. Kelly helped me pick out my glasses and I am very happy with them. He rocks and always seems to be there. I was really tired of getting jerked around by the University Eye Institute and really wanted to go somewhere else for my annual eye exam. So after digging around and seeing the reviews here, I knew where I had to go for my next appointment. Dr. Owens was great, really super friendly, and did a really thorough job. He managed to correct an issue with vision in one of my eyes that had been glazed over in the past by others, so I'm really relieved to have been treated so well and done so thoroughly. Everyone there was super nice from the moment I walked in the door until I strolled out. Finally, Dr. Lee took the time to personally call and check in with me at home, which demonstrates her commitment to and care for her patients. My previous eye doctor told me that I would be stuck forever in reading glasses, but Dr. Lee recommended multi-focal contacts, which are amazing! With this vision solution, my every day life has dramatically improved. I really like this place. I went based on the reviews on here, and I definitely feel as though it was one of the more thorough exams I've had in a while. Right now, there is a lot of construction on Buffalo Speedway, but other than that, it's super easy to get to and park, and they do stay open late at least one night a week. They did have me go back for a contact lens fitting since I was a new patient, which I have to say was a little annoying since I then had an additional copay and had to come back again (and I've worn the same brand/same prescription of contacts for years). However, it was very informative, and they were again very thorough, so in the end, it wasn't too bad. I also decided to update some glasses, and the receptionist/sales clerk in the front kept trying to sell me on upgrades. These were my 2nd pair of glasses and I told her just the basics. She still added on an upgrade that I had to pay for (upgrading to thinner lenses). I don't really mind her trying, but I wish they had been just a little clearer about the charges up front and let me make the decisions. On the flip side, the doctor did tell me how to save some money on sunglasses and other tips and tricks, so I did feel it balanced out. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a thorough and convenient eye doctor. With any doctor, it's always best to get the charges up front and make sure you know what's covered and what isn't. read more

I would definitely recommend to somebody who either needs to know or has some anxiety about the experience.
