I'm impressed. I came here on whim to satisfy my pizza craving (though it's tough since my body rejects dairy) and this place came to SERVE. The building is in a shared space but the minimalist design and beautiful structure still catches the eye when walking up. The menu is pretty extensive and inventive - I think the prices are a tad bit high for the serving size but this is a specialty vegan pizza place where even the cheese is made from scratch so one could argue that price point is fair! I got The Forager and the crust was perfection. This cashew mozzarella was so good that I'm convinced it's not actually cashew but real mozzarella made from milk. Topping to crust ratio was DIVINE (I don't like pizzas with toppings falling off with each bite but also it's never good to have too much sauce showing from lack of ingredients) and the flavor combination of pesto, mushrooms, onions and italian 'sausage' crumble was heavenly. Service was nice and swift, I love how you can see the pizza made right in front of you. Staff is friendly and cool :) Will definitely be coming back to try some of their other flavors! This place is great! All vegan and most things can be gluten-free. The gluten-free crust is indecipherable from a wheat thin crust, it's just that good. We like the Margarita, Ultraviolet, and White pies. Definitely small enough for one person to eat, but good to split for a light snack. The ice cream game is insane. Homemade, gluten-free WAFFLE CONES. SORry, didn't mean to yell, but it's unbelievably delicious. Get a double stack of the peanut butter cookie dough with the honeycomb chocolate. You will die. The coffee and drinks are good, but that's just a nice bonus. OAT MILK LATTE. Really, the only downside is the price. It's a bit expensive with the cheapest pie at $10 ($8 during happy hour!). The pizza was still warm when I received it and its flavor/texture has not changed as I munch on it hours later... The pizza was really good! Cashew mozzarella had good texture. The lemon ricotta was delish - very lemony and almost spot on texture, though not as creamy as dairy ricotta. The cheese flavors and textures were not gross, unlike most dairy-free cheeses. What's unique of this place is that it is a plant based establishment. I was surprised at how tasty the pizza was with no dairy products in it. What was also surprisingly good was their ice cream. I personally am not vegan, but they take me to a lot of good vegan places, and I eat vegan food quite a bit more than the average person, I'd say, particularly when cooking at home. So I feel I have a decent grasp? Maybe? I mean, I like tofu, so I'm not one of those people who bashes vegan food. I guess I'm trying to establish that I'm not a judgmental food jerk. They recommended the Stranger Wings pizza, so I trusted them. They said it wasn't spicy (one of them doesn't like spicy food, so I trusted him EVEN MORE). UM! I was deceived. It's definitely spicy. Although, to be fair, they said it usually wasn't as spicy as mine was that day, so I forgive them. So, just be wary if you're worried about spice. I usually can take a mild amount of spice, but this amount made me sweat. It wasn't very cute. The three of us did swap each other for pieces of each others' pizzas, so it wasn't a complete fail for me. One of my friends got the Southern Belle. It was decent, the only downside was that the crust in the center of this pizza was pretty soggy and droopy. When I got the the outer crust though it was much better. I liked the cashew mozzarella. It comes with san marzano tomatoes, cashew mozzarella, BBQ shreds, pineapple, red onion, corn, and cilantro. Wasn't a big fan of the BBQ shreds, but only because I didn't like the BBQ sauce. But I think that may be a taste preference. I really liked the ranch he got with it to dip it in. My other friend got the Ode to Philly. This was my favorite, and I'd probably order this if I came here again. It included 'cheddar' cream, cashew mozzarella, steak curls, roasted vegetables, and Fresno chilies. Really good, I'd highly recommend this one. I think the main thing I liked about this place was that the "dairy" was very good. Usually vegan cheese really is not something I enjoy at all, unless it's chao cheese. They have a really good thing going here in the "cheese" department. The reason it's docked a star is because it is expensive for what it is. I paid $14 for a super thin crust personal pizza (aka, not much product), a light drizzle of some bleu "cheese" sauce, and like... eight cauliflower florets in some too-spicy-for-me buffalo sauce. Oh, and some scallions cut diagonally. I'm not really understanding why Stranger Wings is $1 more than the Southern Belle and Ode to Philly when there's wayyyy more stuff on both of those than on Stranger Wings. I don't get it. It's okay though. I'd just rather go to MOD pizza, which has vegan options (obviously much more limited than here, which is unfortunate) and gluten free crust options, and it would be much cheaper. (But if you're not concerned about price and you want a more unique vegan pizza that had thought put into it, I'd probably recommend Virtuous Pie over MOD.) I think if I had been alone and based it off the Stranger Wings I'd give this place a two and probably not give it another chance, but since I did try my friends' pizzas and actually enjoyed one of them quite a bit I would return with my vegan friends and be happy with it, and I'd recommend giving it a try if you're vegan or simply want to try a new vegan restaurant. Probably won't come back on my own though. Although I'd like to try their charcoal ice cream thing? It looked very intriguing. The other thing is that their sitting situation is weird and dumb. I don't wanna sit outside in the PNW a good four months out of the year. All of them were amazing and were popping with flavors!! I recommend the aka Benny Eggs Pizza, it weirdly tastes exactly like eggs. I think if this place sold these as flatbread and made them rectangular, you wouldn't compare this to a pizza. Traditional Pizza crust is vegan, so I'm not sure why the crust here is flat. Their Mac n cheese is awful. I don't understand how a place that is aiming to be ethical can charge $11 for a small plate of noodles that are essentially floating in a pool of yellow colored water. I ordered a gluten-free vegan pizza and gf Alfredo pasta with roast chicken. I specifically told them nut free and my son was highly allergic. We got our food. Pizza left much to be desired but the pasta was tasty to me. Except my son wasn't a fan. My daughter and I were on a road trip back to Seattle and stumbled upon this place. We needed to get dinner and figured we would give it a try. My daughter got a margerita and I got the superfunghi. Both were so amazing, we had to double check that we were eating a vegan pizza! The superfunghi has truffle in the ricotta and it's not too strong but you get a nice subtle flavor. Great Vegan Pizza joint! It has some delicious and unusual kinds of pizza, a nice brunch menu, and even some good desserts! Their pizzas are more gourmet, on the more upscale side, but you can taste the fresh ingredients. Each pizza is 10 inches, so an individual serving, and ranges from $10-$14. The brunch menu has tacos and a sandwich, plus mimosas and bloody Mary's! Really modern inside the restaurant, a cute upstairs seating area which is away from the more busy downstairs.
