For the life of me I do not know how this company is still in business. My Samsung washing machine is still under the manufacture warranty. They referred me to VA Electronics. I called during their asinine business hours of 830-1030am! I sent an email the previous weekend and never received a response. I talked to this janky lady, (and I am using lady very loosely) who tells me that I will have to pay $400 and that doesn't include labor for my washer to be fixed. Mind you no one even came out to look at it yet. This was her determination based on the description of the problem that was sent over by Samsung. I immediately called Samsung and had them refer me to another company. The Samsung representative told me no one should be diagnosing an issue over the phone and giving out quotes of how much it will cost to be fixed until the appliance is actually seen in person. The new company Dish came out and fixed my washer with no problem and did not try to extort money from me. VA Electronics is crooked and should be shut down. I will also be reporting them to the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The service technician was very friendly. That's the only good thing I can say. After attempting to repair my 10 month old Samsung dishwasher 3 times and the technician telling me theres nothing more they can do to fix it, they offered to buy my dishwasher for $630 and told me they would take it to their shop to use it for training. I did not find this offer acceptable because between the dishwasher and the extended warranty I had just purchased 10 months prior, I had about $875 tied up in the dishwasher. Why should I have to take a loss on a dishwasher that after 10 months stopped working?! Their answer, well, you've almost had it a year...What?! So I should take a loss? I explained to the technician how much money we had tied up in the dishwasher. He said the company would work with me. I called the company to get a better idea of the next steps proceeding forward and explain to them my dissatisfaction with having to take a loss. Within roughly a 10 minute phone call I was put on hold numerous times and each time they returned to the line I was told different outcomes. First, go buy a new one and they would reimburse me for the dishwasher and the warranty, then that they would not reimburse me for the warranty and then they wanted to remove the dishwasher from my home and take it to the shop to fix the dishwasher, the same dishwasher they haven't been able to repair the first 3 times they tried. At this point, I decided to call Samsung directly. Samsung called Virginia Electronics and Virginia Electronics told them they would try to fix it again! At this point it's already been a month. Not to mention the technician already deemed it unrepairable. So I called Virginia Electronics and spoke to the owner myself. He was EXTREMELY RUDE!! Awful. Didn't even try. I have a 3 year old refrigerator that beeped constantly, freezer overfroze and had lot of frost build up around the seal, fridge wasn't cold enough. A code was flashing constantly. A guy came out from VE, barely looked at it and just said "You just need to defrost it for 2 days. This type of fridge does this." I told him I'd already done that - he said i probably didn't do it long enough. So i did what he said, it worked for a few weeks then same problem. When they were called to come out again, they cancelled the appointment (without telling me directly ) and said i needed to get another opinion, they wouldn't come out again. Also, their website says the phone line is open during normal business hours, but the two times I've tried to call after noon, there was a message saying you have to email them at that time (then wait for an email response). Really???? Ridiculous. Bad customer service. Another company came out. Within 2 minutes the guy saw that there was an air leak around my ice maker chute (causing the air not to circulate). Which makes sense. He cleaned out the whole fridge, and got it working temporally. Part is ordered. It was a mechanical issue like I (and any logical person) would think. PS - this was all being paid for by Lowes, so you'd think VE would come out as much as was necessary. I've had two experiences with Virginia Electronics. The first was to repair my Samsung dryer. It was a so-so experience with a technician that was very nosy and overly opionated. He repeatedly commented on how he did not like Samsung appliances, that they were crap, and he didn't lie working on them. Incidentally, I have all new Samsung appliances in my house. It took two trips to repair my dryer, both times I had the same tech. Both times he was less than enthusiastic about Samsung. He commented on my DW not being energy efficient and he pulled open my fridge and freezer to make adjustments on the doors and drawer even though he was not asked to do so. The second time I had VE to my house was for a dishwasher repair. The same tech arrived as last time. He walked in stating he knew the problem, and that I most likely had a leak that was tripping some switch causing my malfunction. He looked in my DW, took out 6 screws, pulled the DW out and said... Oh it's an electrical problem, I cannot fix this, call an electrician. He was here 15 minutes max, didn't put my DW back right, and said he couldn't give me a receipt. I had to call VE again because I could literally put my hand between the DW and the kitchen counter. Same tech came back, now sarcastic, leveled the DW and stated that my counters weren't level and that was the problem. Did I mention the receipt? VE charges you over the phone just to schedule the appointment. They call this a diagnostic fee and credit towards your repair bill but I've never had to pay just to schedule the appointment. All in all, I'm giving Virginia Electronics a below average score but really it is the technician who gets such low marks. read more

Virginia Electronics visited our home three times and my oven was still broken when they left after third visit. I had to go back to manufacturer and request a different company who promptly came out and fixed the oven on first visit. VA Electronics technician, while a very nice man, would arrive very late in the afternoon after manufacturer of oven's tech staff would be closed for day. Also, had to deal with unpleasant dispatch manager at VA Electronics. This company kept $125 of our money from first visit to our home and never fixed the oven. I read several bad reviews, but had no choice as they are the local Samsung warranty dealer. I was required to give a $125 deposit on credit card for a technician trip for diagnostics, even though the Samsung TV was under warranty. The technician replaced the mother board. Both parts and labor are covered under warranty by Samsung. I contacted VA Electronics and requested refund. Was told I had to deal with Samsung and they would not provide a refund. My warranty company chose Virginia Electronics to repair my refrigerator. The appointment was scheduled but the repair person never arrived. When I called the lady had no clue as to where the tech was. She asked that I continue to wait. It was now 1pm and still no tech. The appointment was between 8am-1pm. When I had previously called to check the repairman's eta. The lady who answered the phone talked about the Virginia law and how he could not call me on the road. I let her know the law was not what I was calling about. I knew the law had changed and talking on your cell phone was not permitted. Fast forward to the day he actually did arrive. He took a look at the refrigerator and left. The part was ordered it took about two weeks for the repair to be completed. It was complete, but my crispier glass had been broken. I called the office to notify and explained what happened. The lady said she would call back. She never did. I called on Wednesday to find out when my glass was going to be replaced. She rudely said twice "we are not replacing it." "The tech said he did not beak it." He did. All he had to do is talk to me. He didn't. The office is covering up(lying) for these techs. I could not believe this woman's nasty attitude. My suggestion is to look else where for your appliances to be repaired. It will give you peace of mind and save your appliance from further damage. I wanted to share my experience with this company and save others the stress. One other thing the tech told me they only come out on Tuesdays and Thursdays to service Virginia Beach. I had an issue with my new Samsung TV. The screen & sound would go out every few seconds. I havent had the TV for more than 4 months and it isnt used very much. I called Samsung and they scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out from Virginia Electronics. They could get someone to come out the next business but I did not have any availability until the end of the week. I felt that the window from 1pm-6pm was too long but the gentleman, Tim, came within the first few hours. He even called to let me know he would be there within 15 minutes. I was a little hesitant about the company coming after reading the negative reviews. I ended up having to change my appointment date and I had zero issues with the receptionist when I called. Stacy did call and let me know they had the parts for the TV. She was very professional as well and very polite. Tim was knowledgable and fixed my TV quick! I was surprised. I did not have to pay anything because it was covered under the Samsung warranty. I have used the TV for the last few days to make sure it was working correctly and I have yet to see the screen go out. Tim advised me that he would leave the ticket open incase the issue started happening again. I would definitely recommend Virginia Electronics. read more

I would give less than one star if possible. By far one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Needed dryer vent cleaned and was scheduled for a month out and required to pay the $200 ahead of time. When the scheduled date came I was informed no one put me on the schedule. They then rescheduled me for 2 weeks later to then tell me the day before they don't have the staff. Have since been trying to get my $200 back but keep getting the runaround. Also only has phone hours from 8:30am-10:30am so you can never get a hold of anyone. read more

He showed me the cause of a very noisy spin cycle - a loose brick used in washers for weight - and bolted it back into its proper place. Office staff was pleasant and helpful, I got my service appointment in a very reasonable time, fees were explained prior to my scheduling an appointment and again by the service tech before he began the work. The tech called about 20 minutes prior to his arrival. I would call the business for problems in the future. read more

Sent by Samsung to repair oven on my 6 month old stove. Technician cracks my cooktop, takes pics, sends to his company and says it was cracked prior to his arrival. He and I were in standing at the stove once already talking about how it is connected to electricity-plug or directly wired and there was no crack! Mgr refuses to call me to even ask for my side of the story. Oven was being repaired under warranty. Now because of Va Elec not taking responsibility for a bad, lying tech and sending claim to Samsung saying crack was there I am left with a completely broken stove. Company called and I was told I had a tom pay a diagnostic charge on my repair. My oven is less than a year old and the oven door glass shattered when the oven wasnt even on and I was ten feet away. Not sure what youre going to diagnose.....Then I called back to speak with them and was on hold for 42 minutes before hanging up and calling the office number directly that is listed on theyre web site. A guy calls and says he cant help me that he is a tech in the field. They are having phone line issues and I need to call back later when it is fixed. Really??? I need to call back later??? I was sorely disappointed in Virginia Electronics (VE) service. My Samsung TV broke during it's warranty period, I was referred to Virginia Electronics as the authorized repair shop. Unfortunately for me, VE did not diagnosis the problem correctly only to have the TV break again after 2 months out of the warranty time-frame. If you do use this service, then do not allow the technicians to be lazy on the diagnosis at the issue at hand. read more

poor customer service and if you can use another repair company you should and don't waste your time or money!! the manager and customer service representatives needs to be retrained on what customer service is! i had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, and it was rescheduled without a problem. an hour later i received a phone call from skylar stating they will charge me $100 for the reschedule fee?? which i was not happy about since no one ever informed me of a fee because i have insurance for my samsung dryer. spoke to another rep and the manager who did not want to reschedule me, and stated i needed to get another ticket from lowes to do the work because it has been over 30 days ( which was a lie ). i then informed the manager that i will make the necessary arrangements for the repair man to come out to me today 3/15/18. the manager then told me well he will not be coming out today ?? which today was my original appointment between 9am-1am, so now i am highly p***** off, so i disconnect with her and call lowes. called lowes who told me my ticket was not expired, they never heard of a reschedule fee ever , and got a new ticket. after getting the new ticket established as i was informed by the virginia electronics manager. called them to verify the date of service in which they informed me they will not be accepting my repair request from lowes..... and i will need to find another repair service to fix my dryer. now this actually made me chuckle cuz the devil is a liar. they were never planning to fix my dryer at all, and they were hoping lowe's would not do a new ticket for me, and they know they are the only provider samsung uses in the hampton roads area. if this is not the epitome of inadequate unprofessional , poor,inconsiderate individuals, and this is my 1st yelp review because of how horrible my experience was with the rude women this morning 3/15/18. it is my duty as a hardworking individual to share this experience with you all so you know the type of people you are dealing with in advance! and maybe the owner of the company will listen to the call or get a new manager and some new care agents because if they are the ones to represent your company i can see why there are more 1's than 5's as your yelp review. samsung you need to do a contract with another company cuz these people are the worst and i've done customer service for over 20 years read more

AVOID VIRGINIA ELECTRONICS AT ALL COSTS They are: 1) incompetent 2) ignorant and 3) inconsiderate In 2015, we purchased a Bosch slide in range from Lowe's. A year later, the Bosch Company replaced our oven due to a faulty burner. That experience was painless and Bosch was able to get our new oven working quickly. However, in August 2017, this new oven stopped working and we now are using the extended warranty plan offered through Lowe's Service Advantage. It turned out the repair was subcontracted to Virginia Electronics. In the first week of August 2017, we first reported to Lowe's Service Advantage that our oven was not heating. They forwarded our complaint to Virginia Electronics. We were asked over the phone if the broiler was working and after confirming it was operable, Virginia Electronics concluded we needed a bake burner (note this is the same bake burner that Bosch replaced nearly a year ago) but it will be 3-7 days before they get the parts. After a week, Virginia Electronics sent a technician to work on the oven, but the technician concluded there were other parts needed for repair to occur. The burner we waited a week for was never installed and the technician left without fixing anything, a problem that could have been resolved HAD THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN TO ASSESS THE DAMAGE IN THE FIRST PLACE. A follow-up with Virginia Electronics indicated the parts identified by the technician were on back order for another 7-10 days. To verify, we called Bosch about the back-ordered parts, but we were informed the parts were always available and that Virginia Electronics had NEVER placed any order to Bosch Company. We informed Lowe's store manager about what was going on. It appears he was not aware what Service Advantage and Virginia Electronics were doing. The only logical conclusion was that Virginia Electronics were ordering parts from other companies! Eventually on September 4, a month after the initial service request, the technician replaced the igniter and declared the oven fixed, but WITHOUT OBSERVING IF IT WAS FINALLY WORKING. As we tried to use the oven, the smell of gas had filled the house and we also noticed that the igniter created a loud sound as it ignited the burner. As excess leaking gas was our primary concern, regardless of whether the over was heating (it was albeit so much slower than usual), we could not use the oven for safety reasons. A follow-up with VA Electronics revealed they have to order the bake burner AGAIN because they already returned the bake burner they initially ordered. When asked, they admitted to returning the bake burner because the technician had reported our oven fixed (after the initial appointment where he did nothing). However, we were still having problems with ignition of the burner and resulting dissipation of gas all over the house. Now we have to wait ANOTHER 7-10 business days before the previously ordered bake burner can be installed - a grand total of 6 weeks, ongoing, without a functioning oven. Another follow up (September 14, 2017) with VA Electronics indicated they were waiting for parts from Home Depot (again, and NOT from Lowe's or Bosch). When asked why it was not ordered for overnight delivery, the receptionist indicated they do not routinely use express delivery because Service Advantage does not recommend this type of delivery. After lengthy discussions with Lowe's to confirm everything VA Electronics told us, Electronics called us back and said that the parts had come in, but they told Lowe's that it would be another week. Whatever VA Electronics told us and told Lowe's were contradictory; even the wonderful customer service agent at Lowe's was confused and frustrated with VA Electronics. We have asked Lowe's to intervene on our behalf, to no avail. We continue to deal with a broken Bosch oven for more than a month now (going to 2 months), with Virginia Electronics, who seems to intuitively diagnose problems, order for parts prior to sending any technicians and pre-emptively close cases before actually resolving anything. This company is absolutely incompetent. read more

Bottomline Upfront: This is my first review on Yelp. After reading similar experiences about VA Electronics, Inc., I felt compelled to finally write a review. Please research VA Electronics further on BBB, Google Reviews, etc. If you ultimately decide to use VA Electronics, I highly encourage you to confirm with them their "flat labor and service call fee" mentioned below. At a minimum, you will spend $199 with this company. Details: Virginia (VA) Electronics does not accurately portray their fees. During initial contact, VA Electronics is upfront with "a $125 service fee that is rolled into the final price." The technician spent ~30 minutes at my house fixing the issue and I was charged $199 for labor. When I asked VA Electronics for an explanation, their dispatcher said, "you would be charged $199 even if the fix took the technician 5 minutes." Their owner, Tim Cundiff, later validated this comment. In Mr. Cundiff's words (in an email that I can provide other prospective customers), he said, "We charge $125 upfront to schedule an appointment. This is a diagnostic fee that is deducted from the total cost if repaired. The flat labor and service call to the home is $199." VA Electronics fix is simple: disclose upfront during initial contact that VA Electronics has a flat labor and service call fee of $199. This allows the prospective customer to decide if they are willing to pay at a minimum, $199 to have their issue fixed. Stop advertising a "$125 service fee." Other repair services in the area charge more reasonable diagnostics fees. Also, as a warning, VA Electronics is currently Samsung's only authorized warranty-repair service in the Hampton Roads / Williamsburg / Richmond, VA area. If your product's warranty has expired, you do not have to choose VA Electronics despite Samsung referring you to their company. I highly encourage you to research other repair services before choosing VA Electronics' shady business practices. Lastly, I asked Mr. Cundiff for an explanation of the $144.54 that I was charged for a part. Samsung verified the part cost $70.11. Mr. Cundiff's response: "The cost of the heater is marked up which includes shipping. I set prices based on our cost to run our operation." When I challenged Mr. Cundiff with the issues listed above, he offered me a "$50 discount" off the next time I repair something with VA Electronics - I found this offer comical and cannot recommend VA Electronics at this time. read more

I was very concerned after reading other reviews but this was the authorized repair for Samsung in my area. I could not be more pleased with the service. Granted, I did not really have a repair issue (operator error comes under the category) but Bennie could not have been nicer or more helpful. I felt very comfortable having him in the house. He quickly found the problem; patiently answered my questions and offered additional advice. I also felt Stacy who fields the service requests was courteous and quickly returned my calls. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The tech was fine, but their attitude towards customers is terrible. And with NO WAY to reach them after 10:30 AM, that should have been an indication. Their tech's phone was broken and when I suggested they could have bought business phone or a pay as you go for him they simply said it was the tech's responsibility. Not only did we miss connections, but they are keeping $35 of my refund. I ended up with a much better company - ASC / Dish - Less expensive, open LONG hours and professional. This review concludes by stating that I took my grievance to our CREDIT CARD BANK, and within a few weeks they found in our favor and reinstated our $125.00. Here is the BACK STORY. (1) Refrigerator broke down. (2) We called Samsung about our refrigerator problem. Samsung said that the repairs would probably be under warranty. (3) Virginia Electronics got the service order because they're the only Samsung authorized warranty service in the region. (4) The next day we received an email from Samsung telling us the service repair was cancelled. We had not cancelled it, nor had we been given an appointment. They had required an advance service payment of $35.00, we agreed, and paid with our Visa card. But, the surprise email said that they added an additional $125.00 charge to the card. (5) My wife called Virginia Electronics, and their clerk said they cancelled the service repair because the work would not be under warranty, and we had told them that we didn't want to proceed with repairs which would be at our expense, since the work wasn't covered under warranty. (6) I was also eventually able to speak with Amanda but she would not reconsider our request for reinstatement of the $125.00, even though we never made a repair appointment, and even though no one ever came to our house. It was an unfriendly one-sided call on their part. (7) I discussed the situation with our Visa card bank. Within a few weeks, the credit card bank ruled in our favor and reinstated our $125.00. DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU NEED THEM!!! Charge your credit card $200 up front, which is ok but don't disclose that if you cancel they keep part of the fee even if you give them plenty of notice. I asked them to archive the call and they said only the owner had the power to do so. I cannot speak to their repair capability, but based on other reviews glad I did not let them touch my Samsung. My credit card company is taking care of their insolence. Also made sure Lowe's is aware of their seedy tactics. read more

if i could give this company a negative star it would be a negative 10!!!!!!!!!!!! this company is a scam artist at its best. i called about 2 of my samsung appliances having issues. i was told that it would be $125 each for the service call, a total of $250 to come look at the appliances. they withdrew the money while i was still on the phone with them making the appointment. the one appliance we got working so i called back and told them they would only have to look at the one appliance and to please refund the other $125. the guy who came out was smelly, grumpy and didn't even know what i was talking about. i virtually diagnosed the problem myself. afterward, he told me it would be another $199 to come out to install the part and the part would be $75. he told me it wouldn't take more that 10-15 minutes to install. so for a $500 stove it was going to cost me $400 to get it fixed. i have been calling almost daily about the refund and i am told over and over that it has been "processed" on "their end" this has been going on for 3 weeks now with no results and no one to talk to other then skylar and chelsea who say there is no one else to talk to because the owner "tim" does not talk on the phone or return phone calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what kind of business is that????????????????????????????????????? these people are crooks, crooks, crooks and their business is a scam. they've been reported to the better business bureau!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I had a terrible experience with Virginia Electronics. My Samsung dryer broke and they came out five times and charged me over $490 and it still didn't work correctly. It would continue to run at the end of the cycle and get dangerously hot. A few days after their last service, it burned out a new heating element. They refused to replace the heating element unless I paid them another $120 which I refused. I would steer clear of this appliance firm. read more

Do not use these guys to fix your appliances. We had an issue with our dryer. Virginia Electronics trouble shooting" involved unplugging the dryer. He suggested replacing a part if unplugging didn't fix it. Unplugging didn't fix the issue, so we replaced the part and the dryer still didn't work. He came back out and said he couldn't diagnose the issue if it he didn't see the dryer acting up. Spent maybe 5 minutes explaining how there was nothing he could do other than just "throw parts at it ". Finally call someone from another company and tell them what is going on, he immediately knew the exact issue from the description- the heating element. He actually took the dryer apart and looked at the heating element too! What a concept the last guy didn't understand.... listen to the issues, look inside the dryer, and understand how they really work. Amazing what happens when a repairman spends more than 5 minutes looking at the dryer and does more than unplug it! If Virginia Electronics had taken the time to even look inside the dryer, they too could have diagnosed the burnt out heating element that the other company diagnosed over the phone and immediately fixed on one visit. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This company was contracted by Samsung to fix my tv and Tim came out and replaced the panel and forgot to screw down the power source before powering up the tv. He fried the mother board and when I called him out on it, he said he will make sure it takes two weeks for my brand new tv to get fixed, even though he is the one that screwed it up. The only Samsung warranty repair through Home Depot and apparently more companies that deal with Samsung judging from the reviews. So far my experience with their dispatch team has been less than stellar. I called HOme Depot this morning about the oven my daughter and sil purchased last April and that we were unable to find paperwork - could he pull up the sale and email the receipt and put in a repair order since the oven will not heat - that part went well but then the people from Virginia Electronics called and the process went downhill from there. They are obviously very worried about being paid over customer service - the first young woman , Caprisha - sounded as though her job was the last thing she wanted to do today, her explanation was difficult to follow and hard to understand since she had the same paperwork I was looking at in front of her but was adamant that we would probably have to pay since all of the paperwork was not attached...huh??? I asked for a number to call Samsung myself to get the warranty information, and did, and listened to him input the correct information only to get a call back to schedule service where I was informed, again, that we would need to pay for it since it was not under warranty, I pointed out that not only was it under warranty, I had spoken with Samsung directly and they said the work was covered under warranty through May 31, 2018. She said there was missing paperwork and they did not work off the delivery date but the production date...I am so confused and getting irritated. I spoke with her manager Chelsea who told me pretty much more of the same only nastier - I hope they record their calls - and told me not only does she not have a manager but the man who owns Virginia Electronics, Inc does not speak on the phone. We did not part friends. From the reviews I guess Tim and Tina Cundiff simply do not need the return business or the goodwill generated by good old fashioned customer service. No matter how busy, no matter how much trouble, you have a company only by the grace of your customers and the good will you deliver along with your service. Fortunately, Samsung's rep on the phone this morning got me right through to warranty after I got a direct line to Samsung from Home Depot. I have several Samsung appliances, we have bought them because of the customer service of Samsung. Va Electronics had done repairs on our refrigerator several years ago. So when Samsung said they were going to have Va Electronics contact me for my Dishwasher issues, I was confident the issues would be resolved. Well that could not have been any further from the truth. Repairman named Tim shows up, wife chatting small talk mentioned really not happy how it has cleaned the dishes since day one. And, guess what? that's all he fixated on! Not the drainage issue, not the blinking lights that tell you something is not right, And not the fact that sometimes it would just stop and lights would start blinking mid cycle.Nor did he even ask about issues. But he did supposedly call a field rep named Joe, and was told to tell wife raise the water temp and use sanitize cycle. Also to use liquid DW detergent versus pods. This so called technician was in my house maybe a total of 20 min. As he was leaving he tells my wife, "I know your not happy". wife asked him to have manager call me at 3 pm. Chelsea called at 08:34 identified herself as manager, When my wife stated to her about Tim's demeanor and failure to address issues with DW. Her response was less than satisfactory, to say the least. When I spoke to her, all she did was apologize. She stated Tim had over 20 yrs experience and the other technician was on vacation. My answer was maybe it's time he retired, which she did not like and at which time told me I could call Samsung and have someone else come out for a second opinion. After reading some of these reviews, this business might be better off if they invested time in getting their people trained in customer service and maybe better service techs. read more

Simple, right? Repair the handle on our Samsung refrigerator. Unfortunately, the employees of this company couldn't even get to our house to repair the refrigerator. We were given a time range of 2:00PM to 7:00PM. Standard. No further communication after that time range was provided. We called to just get an idea of what the schedule looked like. After additional communication we were told that a service professional would arrive between 6:50PM and 6:59PM. They close at 7:00PM. I think that we can see this setup from a mile away. So, I call at 6:50PM to see if they are still on schedule. The employee on the phone was immediately hostile. I told the individual that I didn't think that the tone of the conversation was constructive to a positive outcome. I was told "find someone else to fix your refrigerator". Then, I was hung up on. I called back in an attempt to save this interaction by speaking to a supervisor. No answer. A simple apology about the nature of the experience would have sufficed. Well, that and getting the service that they contracted with Samsung, would have been nice. What a shame. What a joke. I would encourage all potential consumers to be wary of this company. read more

Avoid this company. $99 fee to show up and then $100 to "repair" the refrigerator, which still is not working. Another service call needed, $99 to show up, and on and on it goes. Avoid, wait for the "real" repair people versus these opportunists. Just because they answer the phone and schedule an appointment does not make them honest or ethical. read more

Samsung Refrigerator is not making ice. Technician was very nice. Same Technician came to my house 3 times - 1st time I took off work to accommodate their schedule. 2nd time I was able to get my neighbor to run over and let him in the house. 3rd time the technician called and asked if he could come earlier - my aunt was available to let him in. Now with my ice maker still not working - I asked the office if they could send someone out after 4 when I would be home from work. No they cannot accommodate my schedule. They cannot send a technician out to my house that late in the day because the techs are located out of Richmond. Like I said Technician was very nice. Office staff are not very customer friendly. Maybe they aren't getting paid enough since - luckily - my refrigerator is under warranty. My advice - use another company read more

As with many here, horrible service. Had my TV looked at by Virginia Electronics for the bottom of the TV being darker than the rest. Gave a 5 hr, 1pm to 6pm, period to be home so they can diagnose the problem and the technician showed up around 3pm. Friendly technician but that is about it. Prior to them showing up the TV worked fine other than the darker section at the bottom. No degradation to the actual picture just darker. The technician troubleshot it down to a bad backlight LED bar and stated I needed a new Display Panel. The panel cost was around $1200 with a total of $1500 including installation. The TV, which is a 65 inch LED, cost that much 2 yrs ago brand new. What the heck Samsung!. The real problem came with Virginia Electronics when I got back home that night and had assistance putting the TV back on the wall. Now the TV doesn't even turn on. Whatever the technician did he made the TV issue worse. I then proceeded call the number on the website and somehow got ahold of someone. Figured it was the after hours service. After explaining the issue they were extremely rude and disrespectful. He said "Really? Call back during business hours dude!" Are you kidding me.....you jack up my stuff and then treat me like that! What a disgrace of a business! My recommendation......stay away from this company! Update: Ended up finding the technician failed to reconnect the wire harness from the power supply to the main board. After it was reconnected TV came back on and had display. See Better Business Bureau (BBB) Complaint # 11986042. I would suggest every one with issues on here do this as well as filing a complaint with the manufacturer who employs this business as a contractor. I have done so with Samsung! read more

The company only gives 5 hour service windows forcing you to take off work and stay home. Then, they don't even show up, make you reschedule, and don't even say sorry one time. Instead, when you politely say that it wasn't fair that they make you take off work and wait around the house all day only to "forget" the appointment, they respond with "it was 5 hours, not all day." I would avoid the company and even if it is just fixing a product under warranty, ask the manufacturer to assign another company. This company just doesn't care. read more

This company was referred to me by Samsung to repair our television. I was told by Samsung that it's the only authorized Samsung repair facility in my area. This company charged me $120 to come out and turn my television on. THAT'S IT... Turn it on. He confirmed that there was indeed sound with no picture (as I reported when I called), and said that I will need a new screen. I asked him if it's always a bad screen if there is sound with no picture, and he said yes. Then I pointed out that I already told them that there was sound with no picture, and asked why he couldn't just call me and tell me that. He gave me the main number and told me to call them about my concerns. In addition to my above concerns, I was not given any paperwork stating that he diagnosed my television and that the problem was a bad screen. He was also not prepared to give me an estimate for the cost to replace the screen, even though he already knew before he arrived that it would need a new screen, because my paperwork said that there was no picture with sound (which according to him always means that a new screen is needed). When I called the number that the tech gave me, I spoke to a woman who was very rude, and had terrible customer service skills. I got tired of her condescending attitude, and called her out on it, and she hung up on me. I would also like to point out that my television already had this problem two years ago, and the repair person did not replace the entire screen, he replaced a much smaller part. Not only that, but the previous repair company also did several picture tests, and opened up the television before he diagnosed the problem - which was not the screen. I have called Samsung to report this issue, and file a complaint. I can only hope that Samsung realizes that this company is a rip off, and stops doing business with them. read more
