There are also plenty of special edition gift sets available. Ulta is a great shopping experience for three reasons. Majority of the items have testers, so you can touch, play and see how they work for you, before you purchase. The other reason is they sell high end products and drugstore items in the same store. Also, there are several brands and products that are exclusively sold at Ulta and no other brick and mortar location. At this location there's a wide variety of hair products and hair tools, skin care, fragrances, makeup as well as a trial sized section. The staff working at this Ulta location are very knowledgeable about the products and are ready to answer any questions. There are several services this Ulta location offers, I haven't utilized any of them, so I can't comment on the quality. They offer ear piercing. Hair services, such as haircuts, color and style. They also offer eyebrow services and makeup for a special event. I enjoy shopping at Ulta of West Hartford, and I'll continue shopping here in the future.

The process of picking up the prescription has always been smooth and painless. I've also used their photo service many times through the years, if you ever want photos printed to be framed, or for a classroom project, they do a great job in a variety of sizes. The photos are usually ready for pickup within the same day. It is very easy to order what you need through their app or on their website. I've also used their drive through to get a covid test. They offer rapid and PCR testing. This is also really nicely organized, as long as you schedule your time slot on their website. This is a good pharmacy that offers some services that are very well organized and efficient. Going on their website or app helps get timely reminders.

I had received notifications from the pharmacy that all three prescriptions were ready. To my surprise, when I arrived at 1:22, I found the drive-thru window closed. Well aware that the pharmacy staff takes an afternoon lunch break from 1:30 to 2:00, I parked my car and went inside the store to pick up my prescriptions. Upon entering, I went directly to the pharmacy at the back of the store, where I found the security gate down and the lights turned off. Inside the pharmacy, I saw three young women chatting at the counter. I checked my mobile phone for the time again. It was 1:24. Although the pharmacy hours clearly posted at the entrance state that the pharmacy closes for lunch from 1:30 to 2:00, the three women ignored me. Holding up my phone to show them the time, I said, "It's 1:24. The pharmacy staff takes a break at 1:30. Why have you closed early?" While two of the women turned away, the third rolled her eyes at me and said, "Come back at two." I immediately went to the front of the store. I showed Ethan, the store manager, the time on my phone, which was 1:27, and told him about my attempt to pick up my three prescriptions before leaving the store. I live with chronic medical conditions that require me to take several prescriptions. The fact that the pharmacy does not adhere to its own posted hours, not to mention the lack of courtesy and professionalism I experienced from the pharmacy staff, is unacceptable. I do not have my three prescriptions, two of which I ran out of this morning. This is not the first time I have had problems picking up my prescriptions from this Walgreens pharmacy because of the staff's unprofessional attitude and behavior.
