I booked a massage online using their system and received a confirmation of my booking after I placed my credit card. When I arrived (40 minute drive from my home), there was no available therapist. I was told that the spa was changing online booking systems and that they were sorry and that the therapist was probably sick. They did try to call to find someone last minute and offered me a 50% discount on my next massage which was very generous. So, I tried again to book a service the next day, received a confirmation and decided to call the number online to double confirm so as not to end up in the same situation. I did so 2 days in a row and even sent a text via a chatbot and never heard back. I decided to try calling the chatbot number and someone answered. She confirmed my appointment and then proceeded to ask me if I would be willing to change my service booking since the therapist usually doesn't like doing multiple services if they take 3 hours. I asked if the therapists communicate their preferences so that customers can't book something which cannot be performed. The receptionist started to get defensive and asked if I knew that 3 hours was a long time to book services for. I then asked her if I could give her some constructive feedback: that I found it very difficult to communicate with Soma and effectively book services-something I've done online hundreds of times over the years with different businesses. Surprisingly, she felt the need to announce that she would cancel my appointment and tried to hang up on me. I was able to get her to hear me in my request that my feedback simply be fed up to the management, but I experienced her as persistent in her "not my problem or responsibility" message. I told her that as a receptionist, she is the outward face of her company even if she isn't the owner or therapist. Overall an incredibly unprofessional experience. I will not return and will warn friends against Soma. There are so many wonderful businesses with excellent customer service in the area which I would encourage people to patron.

I'm newly a WeHa dweller, and was searching for a locally accessible and experienced Aesthetic APRN or MD to get maintenance injectables (Botox or Dysport), and other similar services (peels, microdermabrasion, etc.). I was seeking a proficiently knowledgeable practitioner with exceptionally high standards, quality products and services offered. I am savvy enough of a shopper/client/patient to look for a provider offering quality services that are NOT ridiculously overpriced or underpriced but then diluted. Until, in this area, the vast majority of local businesses (especially spa and nonsurgical cosmetic beauty services) tend to mark up their prices astronomically! All simply due to the zip code their businesses reside in. However, when I found the fabulous and highly acclaimed Aesthetic APRN, Alicia Bravo, Owner of Bravo Beauty, I was enthralled! I am beyond neurotic when it comes to throughly researching such a practitioner, especially when it comes to these types of services. Alicia came hugely recommended and had a roaringly flawless internet presence as well! It's exceptionally rare to find a business without any negative reviews; however, I did not come across even one bad review for her or her business, Bravo Beauty! I was even more impressed when I called to schedule an appointment and she honored her Groupon rate offer. I was a new customer and the offer had sold out (her offers regularly sell out quickly) online. I'm not one to typically purchase any type of cosmetic services at a discounted price, but in this instance I felt confident that it was entirely safe and would be a quality transaction. Her reviews spoke for themselves and there were a plethora of them to back up the fanfare! When I later met Alicia, I told her about her positive and polished reviews. She then explained to me that she's attempting to grow her business and that thousands of women see her offers online this way. It made entire sense to me. When I first arrived at the Off Center Salon and Spa to visit Bravo Beauty, I was thoroughly impressed with the modern decor, friendly staff, and overall cleanliness standards reminiscent of a hospital. Alicia as a practitioner is very knowledgeable, vivacious, and I immediately felt at ease speaking with her. She was very thorough, and I didn't feel rushed during my appointment at all. I felt that Alicia knew the science of injectables exceedingly well and I was quite impressed that she wasn't trying to sell or pressure me to purchase more services than I actually needed. I had only used Dysport in the past and told her that even though I'm in my early 30's, that I had been given way too much of it in the past. She then explained to me that Dysport often produces a, "softer," look in contrast to Botox. She then recommended that we use 20 units, instead of 40 units and that if I felt I needed more, to call her in 10-14 days. I was very happy with the outcome of my experience using Bravo Beauty as a nonsurgical cosmetic provider and I would HIGHLY recommend her services to a friend or family member! I give her 5 stars without even blinking and typically I can be quite critical, so know that if I believe her business and standards are this superb that it's truly a rarity!

When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile from Monica, and she offered to hang up my coat and get me a drink. I have some skin sensitivities and allergies, and Vanessa discussed these with me prior to my appointment and added them to my record. It even printed that I had an allergy on my receipt - so I'm very pleased to know they take that matter seriously! She really took her time and didn't rush through the service. I should have called but everything happened so quickly that I honestly was not thinking about the days appointments. I was unable to pick up my phone when they called but when I realized what had happened I called right back from the hospital. They do not answer their phone so I left a message and sent an email explaining what happened, I received no response and they charged me $185.00 for missing the appt. My message stated that I understood I would need to pay a cancellation fee and asked if under the circumstances if they could refund part of the $185.00 Well as I said there was no response. I would have been a very good client for these people as I would have utilized a number of their services on an ongoing basis. I did make a mistake but I think this is a very bad way to do business and a terrible way to take advantage of someone. Sometimes things just happen!
