The Walgreens in Bishop's Corner is just your basic pharmacy. I typically don't go here to go shopping, I think most items they sell are less expensive at Target and similar stores. They certainly have a good variety of all kids of basics. I'll go to the Walgreens pharmacy for a prescription if I ever need one. The process of picking up the prescription has always been smooth and painless. I've also used their photo service many times through the years, if you ever want photos printed to be framed, or for a classroom project, they do a great job in a variety of sizes. The photos are usually ready for pickup within the same day. It is very easy to order what you need through their app or on their website. I've also used their drive through to get a covid test. They offer rapid and PCR testing. This is also really nicely organized, as long as you schedule your time slot on their website. This is a good pharmacy that offers some services that are very well organized and efficient. Going on their website or app helps get timely reminders. read more

Appallingly rude service at the pharmacy. Trying to transfer a prescription to a CVS and the clerk at the pharmacy counter actually LIED to me, saying the other pharmacy hadn't called to request the transfer. Since I had been at the other one, I HEARD the pharmacist call! The Walgreens clerk stalled and stalled about transferring the script and, to make matters worse, announced in a loud voice at the counter, the name of my Rx so that everyone around me could hear it. When I told him he shouldn't do that, he shrugged. It's hard to believe he could have been so rude, insensitive and uncooperative, and I will NEVER shop there again. read more

Walgreens. Such a frustrating pharmacy. had surgery today. the hospital phoned in a pain med. the instruction exceeded the limit the way it was received. The 10 day supply was read as a day and a half supply and denied. They didn't call for clarification. Told my husband I didn't have a discount card on file I do. We picked it up and now they will not correct it. I am really considering taking my business else where. They've taking upon themselves to adjust prescriptions and have refused to attempt to process coupons in the past. read more

Very rude pharmacist refused to help with a prescription that keeps getting filled at this location rather than a different pharmacy which is set as default. Despite getting text and email confirmations that it will be filled at the right location, it stills gets filled in West Hartford. The pharmacist tried to blame it on me that the app defaults to where the prescription has been previously filled even though this was not the last location. The pharmacist was condescending and refused to help in any way. read more

Came here to originally get some prescriptions but decided to go in the shampoo/conditioner isle. Me and my sister were looking at some products and opening the caps to smell which ones we liked best for our hair, one isle over was a lady with short grey hair who seems to work in the makeup department she was listening to us I say this cus she immediately appeared in our isle asking if everything is okay when we clearly are just looking at products was very rude to us and told us not to "test" the products when we were just smelling them.. I felt very uncomfortable when she came by as if she thought we were stealing when we had a full cart of items we finally walk around a little more and go to the checkout a couple minutes later and a police officer had walked out of the store from the direction we had just been at almost as if this woman called the police for us.. when we were simply just smelling products. read more

If I could give lower than one star I would. Pharmacy is the slowest I have ever seen, lost my prescription, spent over an hour before helping me, and we're rude when I was upset for them wasting my time. read more

Excellent customer service every time and good prices without the annoying and wasteful coupons you get from CVS. If I had a choice I would definitely choose their pharmacy as well. read more

The store employees are awesome but the pharmacy employees are the worst I've been going there for years nothing has improved they only get worse they are rude they feel like you should be privilege to get your medication constantly understaffed constantly and they don't care that people got to stay in there for 30 minutes to get their medicine read more

This Walgreens is so annoying. The layout is weird, especially the cosmetics area, there is no logic to it and things are hard to find. And they never seem to have enough people working the registers so it can take forever to check out. The last time I went to have a prescription filled, one that I needed right away, it was a 45 minute wait. read more

This is not my favorite Walgreens. More than once I've ended up with employees who were rude or abrupt or unprofessional, the store selection isn't great, and it often seems disorganized. I will say that the same day photo option is very convenient though, and the photos always come out really well. read more

It's a Walgreens, it serves it purpose. It is in a great location. The customer service is hit or miss (people if you don't like your job GET A NEW ONE). The aisle are well organized and clean and there are always plenty of sales. I agree with everyone who mentions how slow the pharmacy is, but in preparation, I either drop off my script and go eat, get my nails done, etc and come back. The plaza has a gas station across the street, its next to a Outback, there are other multiple restaurants, a liquor store, personal training facility, businesses (Perkin Elmer), across the street from fed ex, more restaurants, nail places and salons. It's a solid establishment and it is located in a great area. read more

Its a Walgreens. I will comment more on the actual location. Its easy in and out with lots of parking. The only real downside of this location is the check out. There is only ever one register open and it AWALYS seems to have a line and ALWAYS seems to be moving slowly. Maybe i just happen to get stuck behind the worst people, but I always end up a little frustrated by the check out wait. The staff is friendly and its a pretty easy store to navigate. They have a photo center too which is nice for getting prints done. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. ALWAYS an hour wait (really? 11am on a Tuesday?), techs are slow, rude (I've heard them making fun of a customer who was on the phone), usually very young and incompetent. Case in point - they gave my son a prescription with the correct name and dosage on the box but a completely different child's medicine and dosage in the box! The manager have us a hard time when we wanted to exchange it saying "it's the same medicine" even though the prescription in the box was for someone else's kid AND was dated two months ago. I too would give this zero stars if possible. I don't even know where to begin. The pharmacy is terrible. There are generally 4-5 people working but what they are doing is beyond me. When you go to either the counter or the drive-thru you *will* end up waiting way longer than you want to. You even have to call them to tell them that your doctor sent them a prescription and even if it is a "hot" item for you, they still don't fill the prescription until you get there. Just today I had to call them and they said "40 minutes" and when I got there an hour and a half later (to give them time to actually fill the prescription because I don't trust what they say) they only started to fill it when I got there. Additionally, their computer systems are terrible. I have updated my address 4 times (no, I don't live in the place I did 2 years ago, and I have moved three times since then - and I have updated you every time) and your system still doesn't know. The "fast pay" option is great...when it works. That too seems to be a surprise every time I go on whether it will or won't work. Any specialty medications are always an item that needs to be ordered and the pharmacy makes no attempt to call and let you know what is going on. Both of my sons take the same medication but yet the pharmacy isn't able to identify why one of the prescriptions is $20 more expensive than the other for the same medicine and amount - and the healthcare company says it should be the same... All in all, this place seems to be capitalizing on its location only. They have not improved (based on the comments that I see dating back to 2014) and if you can go *anywhere* else for your medications - DO! You will thank me later! When picking up photo gifts on multiple occasions, store/department employees have made personal comments about images of my family. This behavior came across as unprofessional, invasive, and a little bit creepy. I advise against using this location for photo needs. read more

Yes, employees (pharmacy and cash register can be slow and rude.) Plus even after a remodel several years ago, the layout is still stupid. There are multiple cash registers around the store, but you can't see whether any others are open when you're waiting in a long, slow line. They should copy CVS and put all the cash registers in one place with a single line to pay. read more
