Came here from a friend's referral. Spacious place, with at least 6 nail stations and 6 massage chair for pedicures. Prices are regular and average/slightly above average. Pedicure vary $28-48. Manicure gel is $80 ish with a fill around $45. I had a pedicure there and only waited in less than 5 min. Although they did all the steps of scrub and using a hot stone to run the skin, the pedicure from beginning and up until the drying station only lasted around 35-40 min. Usually I'm expecting at least an hour of pedicure time. My friend got a gel manicure for her engagement shoot next week. The lady spent at least 2 hours on her nails which admittedly did require lots of attention since her nails are very short. It seemed that a lot of attention and time was spent on the manicure and it looked fairly natural, or as natural as it could be. ....two days later, 2-5 of her nails lifted/chipped! Must be annoying to have clothes/everything get caught onto the nail chip. She made an appointment to go back to get it fixed which took another hour. read more

The man that didn't goes made me feel uncomfortable. He wasn't warm and made me feel like he was doing me a favor instead of a service. He was SUPER cold. He finished my pedi in like 13 mins. When I took a look at my toes there was still dead skin that I could see with my eyes. I didn't have to look hard to notice that i4 was a rushed job. My nails were cut crooked. Ugh! I hate bad service! And this place is not cheap! $30 for a pedicure and poor service??? Don't go to Rose Nails, they have thorns!! read more

The ONLY nail salon I frequent. I come here every 2 weeks and see Jane for a mani/pedi. Rose Nails is just fantastic, full foot soak, scrub, hot stone massage, etc. For the mani, same thing plus paraffin wax, my favorite!!! The best part is the polish lasts for the full 2 wks, no chips or anything. During off season they also have a $25 mani/pedi special!! Highly recommend this place, they're the best :) read more

After I had just gotten finished telling my husband how wonderful this place was how nice the people were and that they speak English and was worth the drive, I went there yesterday around noon to get a French manicure. When I asked the lady if I could get it so that the white tip was a little bit more subdued it turns out she didn't speak English didn't understand a word I said and painted my nails the pale pink fully two coats and when I said I wanted a French manicure she exclaimed that she didn't understand and that it would be $5 more which was not an issue. She continued to paint two coats of white tips on top of the already two coats of paint. So now I have a base coat, two coats of pink, Two coats of white tip and a topcoat. Six layers on the tips of my nails. Needless to say the tips never dried in yesterday's weather. at 7 o'clock last night I was still able to move them around and scrape them off by accident. Today I have to go somewhere else because I'm not anywhere near this salon today and have them re-done. What a total waste. Very disappointing. read more

My favorite nail salon, because they frequently have specials for a full-spa style mani and pedi for only $25. They do the complete foot soak, scrub, leg massage, and hot stone massage for pedis. For mani's they do a paraffin wrap. I will say that I have had bikini and leg waxing done there as well, and it was horrible! They didn't take off enough hair both times I went for a brazillian and did not leave a neat, clean line where I wanted to leave hair. The trade-off, is that it's cheap and they take walk-ins. read more

Great place to get a pedi! Hot stone, massage and so relaxing! Only thing they don't do is acrylic which disappointed me.

One of the only places I go to get my nails done and the only place I'll get a pedicure. It's very clean and I always leave looking great. The only problem seems to be that when I get a manicure no matter how long I stay to dry, my nails are always smudged the next day. I wish they had a different method to dry nails besides just fans. I would definitely go back for the massage (only). My friend and I got shoulder rubs that melted away all knots in a couple minutes. But the nails were so so. I finally gave into gel nails recently at a nearby salon and loved it. Came here for location and timing and for $30 my nails were unevenly shaped, transparent in parts and the tips not painted. I'll go down the road to Bliss next time for what I came to expect. read more

Love the fact that you can walk in and 9 times out of 10 you can get service really quickly. It's not their fault if a bunch of people show up at the same time. The salon is clean and the people are really professional. All of the services are great and the prices are very reasonable. read more

I read the reviews for Roses nail salon in Berlin Ct. There must be 2 Rose salons in Berlin because my experience was not at all like any of the reviews I read. I wasn't greeted when I went in but simply asked what I wanted. The technician did a good job but never once smiled or asked me if the water was too hot, which it was. I felt like a number. When I was in the drying area I asked about a certain type of polish. I didn't understand what the person said as she answered me with her back turned. I then asked another question and was given a quick answer by a technician who acted very annoyed that I asked a question. I was never asked if I wanted any other service or even given literature on what they had to offer. As my polish was drying I was asked to pay now. I did...and that was the end of any attention I might have been given. I found the people there to be rude and indifferent. Needless to say I won't go back. read more

Rose Nails used to be the only place in town that I would go to get a nice and relaxing pedicure from time to time. I know that they are clean, quick and do a decent pedicure. However, my last experience there changed that perception. After a long day at work this past week I decided to treat myself to a quick pedi before the weekend began. As expected the tech that worked with me was very considerate, however, she didn't understand exactly what I wanted on my toes. I asked for a standard french pedicure with a thin line but what was given to me did not match. I tried to explain to her multiple-times thinner and she refused to fix the application. Once the toes were complete I handed the tech my 18k gold ankle bracelet that she had asked me to take off before the pedicure so that she could place back on. Before I knew it the bracelet slipped out of my hands and fell down the pipe of the pedicure booth. Quickly the tables shifted. I was then questioned by the owner what exactly happened and was told I was the one that had to call the plumber if I wanted my bracelet back. They then moved me to the drying station and told me there was nothing left for me to do they then asked me to pay for the pedicure that I had gotten. I obliged and asked again if someone else could at least fix my toes to reflect a thinner french pedicure but was left with the tech who wouldn't make it any thinner. Another tech during this time frame did try with a bucket handle to snake the drain but was unsuccessful. The lack of customer service and how I was treated at the end of the day was appalling and on top of it, the other clients that were there were just as frustrated as I was with the entire situation. read more
