As I walked in, my exact thoughts were "oh my gosh, what a beautiful place!" We were both greeted by employees who were kind and made us feel welcome. As a first timer at Bliss, I seriously could not feel any more relaxed. The amount of nail colors to choose from was beyond out of this world, it was truly fabulous! My friend got a manicure and pedicure, and I got a pedicure. Mind you, I very rarely get my toe nails done - because I'm super ticklish and it's a sensory thing. I chose to step out of my comfort zone and get a pedicure. So glad I did! Despite the feeling of having the bottom of my feet scrubbed the entire process from beginning to end was very soothing. The big massage chair is a plus, I have lower back issues and the relief I got was stellar! Purple is my absolute favorite color - so of course that's the color I chose for my pedicure. My usual go-to for manicures is a woman. For my pedicure, I had a male employee and that does NOT bother me at all. He was very attention to detail and made my experience a good one. Hard working for sure! I'd like to even point out that when my Yeti tumbler fell off the side table attached to the massage chair (due to the back massage taking place) he cleared off some space on the shelving used drying a pedicure and allowed me to put my Yeti there. To top it off, he would stop very few minutes and ask if I'm alright (the employee noticed I was in a little bit of pain, my left ankle sprain did not heal properly). This will not be the last time I set foot into Bliss Nails & Spa! It's gonna be my go-to for pedicures (and manicures if the woman I go to is unavailable). When my friend and I showed up (5 minutes early by the way), we were told that they gave the appointment to two other girls that they just assumed had made the reservation and they could no longer take me. WTF? Absolutely will never go back. What's the point of taking appointments if you don't stand by your word and check people in? There was ZERO sympathy, it was just oops, tough luck. No compensation or any remorse, everyone just looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders, and went about their day. Extremely unprofessional.

I was very happy when I called to make an appointment and the woman on the front desk was kind, helpful and understandable. when I arrived the salon was clean, empty (but it was a Monday) and I liked the atmosphere, the light jazz was a good touch. I put up no argument and gladly opted for the most expensive spa pedicure. The tech nicked the top of my right toe (sensitive skin) with a nail file. luckily it didn't bleed but as the pedicure went on she sprayed my toes with pure alcohol several times and wow that burned. as an industry professional she should have been using something like sea breeze (it would have been ok only to wipe the nail with alcohol not spray it over the tops of the feet. it progressed when (and this happens almost everywhere) she violently exfoliated my legs with scrub. I'm not here to solicit free advice but scrub does the work on its own, a gentle touch is all you need. I don't want to have my skin scrubbed off: again. ow! The massage was hurried, and missed the key sensory points -- all I can say is there shouldn't be any rushed or hurried movements in the spa industry, to be blunt the massage just didn't feel good, it also lacked pressure. I skipped my manicure all together, but the tech redeemed herself on the back massage as I was drying which delivered the pressure and key tension spots but overall I don't know if I would go back. Still on the hunt for the best spot.

They have so many nail colors and offer powder, gel, etc. they have many 'cat eye' colors too which I love & I find a lot of nail salons only carry minimal colors of. Every nail tech here is very friendly, gentle and does a beautiful job on my nails. Rita has recently been my nail tech and she is super sweet and pays very close attention to detail! Each time I leave here I am more surprised than the previous time at what a good job she has done! My favorite pedicure to get is the gold spa pedicure because you get a long calf/foot massage, hot stone massage and they cover your calves with this gold lotion which is very relaxing. I love this place and would suggest New Noble Nail over any place around!

When she did my gel French manicure, I noticed a bubble on the white tip and mentioned it to her, but she tried to tell me you can't notice it and it's fine. I was going to let it be as I did not want to make it a big deal. However, she did my toe color change and removed my prior color which was blue. It wasn't until I stepped outside right in front of the nail salon that I noticed bright blue around the edges and sides of my toe nails that were supposed to be French white tips. I politely went back in and spoke with the owner Vy and she told me that I asked for a color change not a pedicure. If I knew they were going to leave blue under my pedicure because I asked for a color toe change than I would have taken my own nail polish off and not pay for the service of toe color change. The sister who did my nails than proceeded to say "Oh my God, really you are so annoying," she than offered to fix it but continued to make comments to belittle me and offend me as a customer in front of their clients due to the fact that I spoke up about not being satisfied with my service even after paying $70 for the services. I told her after calling me annoying that I do not feel comfortable with her fixing my nails. She responded, "well do you want your money back?" I honestly wasn't even going to ask for my money back but after she got confrontational I told her yes actually I would like my money back. She than threw back my bank card and receipt on the front desk and told me "now Go home and don't come back". I know most men neglect this one area of grooming and often find themselves being ridiculed by females and makes alike. I choose to avoid that by making sure that aspect of care is done by professionals. Granted I don't get my hands done, because I don't believe in it plus my lifestyle involves me to use my hands (sorry I'm not a sultan or a prince, my life is that of a European's but not of royalty). I figured I'm going on vacation and wearing sandals throughout it, so I know my feet will be getting a lot of exposure. 2.) What your eyes may see: This place is located on a busy area of Rocky Hill. I could call this area Silas Deane Highway, because it runs straight into it. It's kind of busy. Inside its pretty bright, decently clean. There is I believe a massage and waxing area (private room separated by curtain cloth). It use to be Em & Lee (Lee's name is actually "V" for short), now it's just "V" running the shop. There are two other pretty Vietnamese assistants, besides "V." It's normally busy here during the times I come, as a matter of fact I have experienced many quiet appointments. There are two massage chairs. They seem to be fairly new and okay for what they can do. Apparently you can use their wifi which they have the password posted up on the wall. 3.) Service: The women are very sweet. Sometimes you can get a half a**ed job, so it can be inconsistent. Inconsistent meaning they wouldnt clip my nails well or pumis the feet well, clip out cuticles. Today I've gotten great treatment. They don't do like other places the foot and leg massage. 4.) Price: I paid $25 for this pedicure. 5.) I like coming here because I've been going here for a couple years. The price seems okay and the staff are very nice.
