Great experience, walked in and was able to get a manicure and a pedicure. I did the gel nails. The vibe is very relaxed. Everyone is very friendly and kind. I love my nails. Thank you Kim so much! I will be back soon. I definitely recommend Vip Nail Bar. read more

The service was great!! I loved my nail artist and she was really engaging. The vibe was also nice on the inside!

I only had my toes cut, but everything was clean and neat. The owner did my nails followed by gentle foot massage! I was very pleased and will be regular customer! read more

We walked in. They aren't very busy. They got us in very quickly. Kim did my pedicure and was funny and personable. I am happy to recommend this location and Kim specifically. read more

If you are not a gambler, RUN! You may get lucky, but are more likely to be disappointed. Is customer service a thing of the past? I booked an acrylic fill and a pedicure with Jason. When I arrived for my appointment I had a short wait- no big deal, but a smile hello would be nice. Jason had performed a pedicure on me in the past and I was quite satisfied. This is why I decide to book the mani/pedi with him. In the past when he wasn't available another tech had provided a sub par pedicure at this salon. Well today was a big disappointment! I was seated by Jason. The salon seemed busy and everyone seemed to be in a rush, including Jason. There were no smiles or friendly banter. While Jason did a fine job on my nails, he informed me he would not be doing my pedicure. I reminded him that I specifically requested him. He told me he was too busy with nails to do a pedicure. He said everyone does good pedicures there. I told him that hadn't been my experience. I should have left and just paid for my nails, but I decided to give it a try. This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. After being seated with my feet in lukewarm water for 15 minutes, a tech sat down to go to work. She was so rough pushing my cuticles back...actually she pushed all around jamming the pusher into my surrounding skin. It was so painful I jumped. Then she started cutting them making my cuticles bleed. The girl in the chair next to me noticed. The massage, scrub and hot rocks were a joke. My entire Deluxe pedicure lasted a full fifteen minutes. She flooded the cuticle with polish and never cleaned the polish off of the skin. The nail shape is terrible too. I retired from the industry after 35 years and was an educator for a nail manufacturer. I will show grace for lack of experience and skill, knowing that takes time to develop, but there is no excuse for the complete disregard customer service. I would say you get what you pay for, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I didn't get what I paid for. I'm more frustrated with myself that I left any tip at all. PS- The sanitation practices are not good either. You should not be using a big powder brush to remove the dust or a brush soaked in oil that you use on every customer. read more

What a bummer of an experience! I visited VIP Nail Bar on Friday around 11 am. They were busy, but immediately took me to the pedicure chairs and there was no wait. I asked for the $50 package (they have pedicure packages ranging from $35 to $60). The whole experience from start to finish was pretty disappointing. What was supposed to be a relaxing "treat yourself" experience was rushed and not at all what I expected. My pedicure was finished before anyone that was there before me. I was rushed through the pedicure so quickly, that the massage chair set on the 20 minute massage timer still had the 10 minute light left on it. There was no hot stone massage that I was looking forward to (it lists it as an option on the package I chose). When I tried to talk to them about it, I was dismissed with an "oh I'm sorry" without any attempt to resolve the problem. I guess he rushed through because of how busy they were. He was already started on someone's manicure after I had re-read the packages to make sure I wasn't wrong. Maybe I just got the wrong guy to do my nails. I don't know. But for something I do once every few months, this was an incredibly disappointing experience and I wouldn't return as I wouldn't look forward to this rushed, incomplete pedicure. read more

I was in the area and popped in for a deluxe pedicure before leaving on vacation. Salon is nice, staff was nice enough. I was in and out in 30 minutes, most of my nails were fully painted, she got some gel polish on my toes for fun and the cut was the icing on the cake. Pedicure felt rushed, gel polish application leaves a little to be desired. read more

Sloppy work. When checking out I realized the lotion on my hands was basically hiding the fact I had polish all over my fingers. I let the guy checking me out know and he sat me down and proceeded to file my nails. I was very clear and it was very obvious I had polish all over my finger tips. He said when I was my hands it will come off- it didn't. I asked if he could use acetone and he said it would take the polish off- I got a dip polish I don't see how that's possible. Sloppy work from a nail salon as usual. read more

Best pedicure I think I've ever gotten! I got the VIP Hollywood Pedicure$50, seriously the most well find, relaxing one. My toes look great, I feel great, my legs and feet are moisturized and I will definitely want coming back! I worked with "Haha" she was great and has exceptional focus on detail. I had a blood bubble under my left toe nail, it was purple, she fixed me up and it's gone! My feet were callused and dry, I feel awesome now. Side note: they serve drinks, so another reason to relax and enjoy! Definitely my go to place!! read more

Took my daughter to get her nails done before her first dance. A nail salon is a bit out of my comfort range but wanted it to be memorable with my baby. I wanted to get something done to share the experience but don't have a clue about that stuff. The customer service was fantastic! Their work is beautiful!!!! I would highly recommend to anyone looking. I'll definitely be returning and enjoying another pedicure!!! read more

Got a mani pedi; pedi was awesome would 100% get again. I have pretty bad heels and they went at them well. But for the mani, which was my first one. If I'm not mistaken, aren't they supposed to clean my nails? Do my cuticles, trim them up. Employee were nice, very accommodating but for the amount of money spent I expected just a bit more. Maybe I should of asked? That's on me. 115$ for both. We did not have any real wait. And I'm not from the area. read more

I have been coming to this place for over a year and it's hit or miss. The atmosphere is nice, everyone is friendly, and I've never had to wait...I think I went once right before the holidays and maybe had to wait about 15 mins. I have never had a bad pedicure there. I go about once a month and every time it's relaxing...my toes are always done nice and they keep the mimosas flowing. The nails...that is a different story. Each time I go I pray I don't get the same tech but I've had the same one the last four times. My acrylics lift or fall off after 5- 6 days, the shapes are crooked, each time I've gone to get a fill it's just sloppy. You can see the lines in the polish...and I'm pretty sure he forgot to put the base coat before the gel polish this last time. I just wish some of them took the time and consideration that other techs seem to do...because some of the techs really are good. read more

Very disappointed with the work provided it has been a week and looks like my toes were done a month ago. I can do a better job actually a 5 years old can do a better job. I called and they try to tell me that a week thats normal. No it is not. I can do my own and it lasts almost a month. I will never be back. I am adding a picture of a week old service which should last a lot longer. read more

my experience was terrible. The nail tech that assisted me was extremely rough and it felt like she was rushing. I repeatedly told her that she was being rough. Shee laughed and called me sensitive. I am a disable veteran with injuried feet. I was so nervous because she was being wreckless with the pedicure tools. Fast forward to my nails, she was so aggressive and moving very fast. She proceeds to ask where I was from, then she asked if I was from Atlanta. I remain quiet for the remainder of my visit. She asked if I wasn't coming back. Then joked with someone else calling me sensitive again. I received dip on my natural nails and they look terrible just shy of a week of coming to this place. Please be mindful of which tech you get. not sure of her name. read more

My white nail polish was supposed to be matte instead what he put on my toes turned it beige and polish quickly started chipping off.

Had a great experience tonight and absolutely love my nails. They were able to fit me in as a walk in, and my nail tech was amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made a great color recommendation. She also shaped them in a more rounded shape, as requested. I will definitely be going back once I am ready for a color change :) read more

Made an appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure. After 3 days, the gel polish has already flaked off and my nails look horrible. For the most part the staff are nice, but go here if you want rushed services and polish that won't make it through the weekend. Likely won't be back. read more

Not great service or staff. Would not recommend. I wanted light pink nails and I felt like it was too sheer and asked if they could make it a little less sheer and they said it wasn't possible lol. Vip Nails Bar - Not a fan - Nail Salons Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

Went to VIP as a new customer. I won't say the name of the lady I had but she kept bragging that she could do a way better job than the nails I had on from another store. Please don't talk cocky about doing a better job till you are finished. I gave a 3 star because the facility is nice and everyone was nice. However I did have to wait another 20min to even be seated with an appointment so definitely don't go if you are in a rush. For the pedicure it was nice but I asked for my nails to be squared which they are rounded (I tried squaring them big toe nail at home afterwards). As for my nails I made the nail tech redo a nail that looked severely smaller in width than the rest of my nails which she proceeded to tell me it was because of my nail bed but it's not looking at my nail bed. I will try them again but I will make sure I have someone different. Also the dip on my nails are so thin they are chipping already. read more

I have gone to several nail places around here in Lexington and always compare. The service here is amazing my nails are always perfect I love HA. The nail salon is so nice and relaxing. I've came here about 5 times now and I will say usually I'm always pleased with the service but not today. The man that usually does them Does an absolutely amazing job and I highly recommend him even though I don't know his name. I was given someone different which I was ok with!! and was seated immediately ( which is a plus ) and he didn't say much of anything at all which I wasn't upset about they are doing their job. The problem was he was rushing and he only did 2 coats instead of 3 which was still 100% see through and looks blotched in certain areas. He just seem like he disliked his job. It was super disappointing but I couldn't even realize how blotched it looked till after the fact. I've had this same problem at multiple other salons and that why I stayed here because they did good. But I think after today I won't be back. read more

Vip Nails Bar - Dip manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

Me and my Best friend having been going to this nail salon for about a year and usually we received great service but the past few times have not been as well. This last time we went there which was 6/10 we went in for a simple manicure in dip while they all rushed us around my best friend was getting just french in dip and the lady left her nails to be extremely rugged and lumpy. The nails were already turning color and were already turning yellow the next morning. When she went in and asked if they could smooth them and redo the french the manager was very kind and said they would redo them. While the lady that originally messed them up just smoothed them and told my best friend to get up and go , and that she was not fixing them. She was still charged the 70.00 , which the money was not the problem it was the simple principle that they were messed up and she wanted them fixed. The lady was just extremely unprofessional, my best friend is a licensed cosmologist . So for the lady to sit there and yell at her and tell her she had no idea what she was talking about it , is actually wild. Unfortunately due to this incident neither of us will be returning. You have officially lost two consistent customers. read more

I would not even give them a star but i have to give one. Had some issues a while back. They are rude and seem to act like you being there is an inconvenience. I decided to try again because I was in the area....... and again was told to sit...... not even asked what service I wanted. Three other groups entered separately and they were asked while i remained seated. I also think it's overpriced. Will not try again ..... Done with VIP...... it certainly doesn't stand for Very important Person unless they are speaking about the man who supposedly greets you . read more

I went here to prep for my wedding - mani and pedi. The pedicure was fabulous and the girl who tended to me was great. A male employee continually kept coming to me while I was getting the pedicure being pushy about what I should do for my nails. He didn't even really ask what I wanted but just kept pushing what he wanted and I hadn't even finished the pedicure yet! Then he was very abrupt with me when I almost went in the wrong direction and then he was pushy with me again when I sat in the wrong chair bc he wasn't clear about the EXACT chair that I should sit in. It was very uncomfortable and I didn't/don't like the nails AT ALL but I was too afraid to say anything about it at the time bc of his demeanor. I'm going to find some other place to remove these as soon as my honeymoon is over. I'm never going back. read more

I went there about a week ago and it was absolutely awful. I got a dip manicure, and the guy was so rude. Not only was he rude, my nails have never been more thick.
