We went in this morning 11/4/2023 for 3 adult pedicures & 1 child booking the VIP Pedicure Room. The experience was AMAZING. My 6y/o had an amazing nail tech who was very detailed. She didn't rush her nails just because she's a little girl. That meant so much to me. I enjoyed a mimosa while getting my pedicure and loved that the seats in the VIP room were so large and comfortable. I also got a fill while there and I am OBSESSED with my nails. Don't go here! Waste your money. A few days ago I went here for a pedicure and a manicure. This is the worst salon in town, it is dirty, a very old interior. Strong odor. I'm not sure your toes and hands were safe with those tools. The man who made the dipping powder on my nails did a terrible job. I don't know if he knows how to do it or not, but I guess not, and someone else came to fix it for me, but they don't seem to have the skills to do the job. Extremely bad! Everyone should be careful here, because I feel this is not a safe place. I tried to find the picture of the worker who worked on me on the wall where they hung the licenses, and I realized that most of the people on the plates were not the workers present here. They usually talk to each other in their language, even while they working on you. Almost the nail techs here are not as good at English. The owner as well. This is also a gambling gathering place. This place absolutely SUCKS...I only give 2 stars for the lady who checks you in and asks if you need anything to drink. Other than that, the lady who did my dip nails had no idea what she was doing. She had to ask a coworker how to do them. And plus she didn't shape my nails as you can see in the pictures. Early afternoon is the time to go because the technician is in no hurry without other clients waiting. The voesh pedicure at B&E was very likely the best pedicure of my life. From sea salt soak to salt scrub massage to mud masque with hot towels to hot stone massage to post polish oil massage... heaven. She talked me into paying $18 extra for gel... at that point of the experience I would have given away my first born had she requested. Go here. Lovely. I will be back. read more

Cleanliness is my main priority when choosing a nail salon. I've been told the owner has been extremely selective in hiring staff due to her strict philosophies of how a nail salon should operate. I don't blame her. I've seen other salons with worn out tools, tubs with no liners, techs using their own fingernails to clean up a French manicure...Excuse me while I gag. Oooookay, I'm back. B&E is a complete 180 from other salons. Yes, they use tub liners. Yes, they use sterilized tools. And yes, my tech did an excellent pedicure. Great experience having pedicures. Loved the feet and leg massages. Except the technician who did my girlfriend's pedicure dug violently into her toe and cuticle to get her ingrown making her toe bleed. We got the pedicures yesterday and today her toenail is infected. Be careful. read more

I do think the salon is beautiful and the customer service was good, but the execution of my manicure was very poor. The technician drew blood on four of my fingers from either missing my cuticles while trimming them, or filing directly on the skin above my nails in an attempt to remove the previous gel polish. She did immediately cleansed any open areas with alcohol, thankfully. I had to stop the manicure because I did not want nail polish to go near broken skin. Both she and the manager attempted to persuade me to still receive polish, which I had to firmly decline. I left bleeding with sore cuticles. Would not recommend. read more

My two daughters and I arrived and were told 20 minutes to be seen for one pedicure and nails/toes painted so I agreed and signed in. We waited over 1.5 hours before being seen as we watched 3 or 4 people getting services before us that had arrived 30 min AFTER us (no, they did not have appointments because I asked). They clearly do not use the sign in system for the order of appointments. I stated how I was confused and was told 5 more minutes. The employees then pulled a guy that had never done a pedicure before to do mine. It was fine but I'm pretty sure a step or two was skipped. I was then talked into gel instead of regular polish for my children, which is fine because at that point I just wanted to get out of there. 2.5 hours later we walked out of there. Had a pedi done here today and paid $40 for sea salt treatment. The man who did my pedi was in a huge hurry, didn't rub my legs or feet very long and had to ask him to remove the dead skin on my toes before he painted my nails. I couldn't believe he was skipping over this. And I had to ask him to make sure my heals were smooth. I have my feet done once a month and this is not the normal treatment I get . They charges my 14yr old daughter 55.00. I made it clear she was using her own money on her card. 3 days later, a charge for 77.50 was on her card. I called talked to the owner, they claim she tipped 22.50. I told them there is no way, she does not know how to tip that much! Honestly I have Ben going here for roughly on and off for two years. My best friend and I went and they were very much talking about how crazy were we. We asked if they were talking about us and never talked to us, just about us. I then had an infection in my toe because of this place. Pedicure is not worth it. Now I went there recently for a fill (Acrylic) and the fill cost me more than the full set. There were no chipped nails nothing was wrong just needed a fill. The wait was terrible and the attitude about how I wanted them shape was like I was bothering them. The check out time. I asked how was it possible that a fill was more than a full set. I got a lot of eye rolls and just because- I paid they asked for a tip- no tip was given. I came here based on yelp reviews and the fact that they take walk ins. I was very happy. I just moved here from California and needed new dip nails desperately. They took the time to make sure the old dip was off and were gentle with removing it...I've had nail techs in the past that just use the Dremel tool damaging the natural nail and that irritates me so bad, Sam was very gentle and took his time. I went in with my two preteen daughters and my niece. For my girls this was a first time experience and I was happy to see they enjoyed it and got what they wanted. For me it was basic. The people working weren't very helpful with me asking questions and honestly I settled on simple flat Mate nails because I lost hope in there ability to do anything extra. My niece asked for a coffin shape nail and brought in a picture for colors to match that she wanted. While looking for the right colors a women who worked there took over to "assist". After applying the color with mate coat my niece apologetically informed the women that she didn't like one of the colors now that she sees it mated and finished. The women responded in an aggressive way and began speaking down to me 13 year old niece and made it known that she was an inconvenience. She even told my niece, "you should have picked your own colors than." When that's what my niece was trying to do in the first place. After leaving my niece informed me she did not want to go back there. She told me that the women was aggressive and forceful while changing the color along with making it known that she was angry with her by how she was talking to my niece. I had every intention of giving this place more stars but after seeing and hearing the reaction this woman had over a nail color, I will not be recommending them to anyone. Honestly, i've never been more disappointed with my nails. It's my birthday and i'm suspecting an engagement so I wanted them perfect. Asked for matte and was told it would be no problem, I tried to pick out colors myself and was helped, which I thought was kind until they colors didn't match up. I asked about other color options and was told "they just aren't going to match exactly and will be closer with the matte on." Well I was lied to multiple times. Not only did they do my nails on a DIRTY RED RAG with OTHER PEOPLE'S NAIL CLIPPINGS, they failed to tell me matte doesn't work on dip--im assuming because dip powder is more expensive than gel manicures which "hold matte extremely well," I was told AFTER they'd finished. i would have gotten gel had i known. two different nail tech's tried and failed and they even tried to make me pay for the matte. everyone is now telling me i should've demanded they fix them but I hate being a rude customer (hence hiding behind a review when I never make them) and even tipped. Thought I would like this place so I gave it three tries. The last time sealed the deal. Not going back. My nails were lumpy and each nail was a different length. The gentleman that did my gel fill in didn't let the gel dry and he smeared one of my nails because he didn't leave me under the light for long enough. He didn't even bother to fix it and I didn't notice until after I left the salon. And while I don't expect to be entertained by my manicurist, this man was sullen, unfriendly and disinterested. If I could give no stars for the experience I had at this place I would, The whole time I was there the nail tech scowled an made me feel horrible. Not only did I leave in tears but the job on my nails were a disaster. The tech was not only combative but did not listen to me the whole time and the told me we must have had a misunderstanding???? Then they proceeded to laugh with another tech who came and sat beside them in another langue. I almost forgot how rough they were with my fingers and how my hands were in pain for almost 24hrs after I left .However I paid full price and left with the most hideous painful nails I had ever received in my life. Yet I was not initially going to write a review but less then two days later one of the nails completely broke off typing at my desk today not only am I disgusted but horrified that this place has a 4.6 review. If this is good work and is allowed in Lexington of all places it makes me wonder how truthful the reviews I read were. I just want to know how is this even acceptable. After paying full price for poor work just to have them then brake . Bubbled at the tips bowed in the centers and unclean lines are only to start.. the owner actually had to clean the leftover nail polish that was wet on my fingers before I left...Then gave me a $5 coupon for next time? Who does that and what kind of establishment treats customer so poorly. I guess not seeing any valid licenses on the wall should have been an indication that maybe this places credentials where not up to par.
