I came in the get a new set, I loved my nails but they were too thin for the length I always get and four had broken in two weeks and they were lifting. The gentleman at the front had told me he would Make it to where I'd pay right at $40 because I am a college student going back to school and I wouldn't be getting a new set of these had been done thick enough. I was just going to get basic acrylics with regular polish instead of gel to fit my budget. So no problem there, things. So I sit down with this lady named Kim. She asks if I am doing gel polish today and I tell her no thank you, I'm getting regular this time. Like every nail tech, she tells me gel is better and it lasts longer (which I totally agree, I normally always get gel), and I said again no thanks, it doesn't fit my budget. So she begins removing my nails. And sh*t hits the fan. First she has NO REGARD for the way she is pulling off my nails. I would compare her snapping my nails off to me scraping ice off my car windshield. FULL SEND. like, this lady is putting her back into it. And it HURT. I'd flinch and she would look at me like I was a p*ssy and make a remark like "that was an easy one, that didn't hurt." I should have spoken up, but I was too far in. I felt like I was in the movie Saw. Only a few more nails to pry off. When Kim was done, I thought I was free. But nope. She started filing my nails, which hurt and are now paper thin from abuse, with no remorse for my poor nailbeds. After the most painful parts were done, Kim puts tips on my nails and says "this will be $58, ok?" NO THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT OKAY. I ask why, and she says she is going to make the nails out of black powder (I had requested my nails be black) and coat them with a gel topcoat. That this is because my nails will be stronger. And then she said it's extra because my nails are long. I was never told length had anything to do with price. I had been going to VIP for a long time at this point and I have never been told nor paid anything to support that. No no. No. I said I had discussed with the gentleman up front and I was going to get a set that costs right at $40. I wanted basic acrylics and regular polish, same shape and length I had. A compromise was made, and she did the black powder. Whatever, I wasn't paying $58. It was okay. After Kim was done I rushed to leave because I had been there for two hours (yikes). The man asked me how they were and I was like "much better, thank you!" Please note: i had yet to examine my nails apart from they were black and they were nails. I got into my car, and oh my god. YIKES. My nails are not coffin shaped. They are chonks. They look like coffin nails if the coffin nails ate McDonald's every meal for a year. The side view is even worse. Then, I realize the "black powder" she used is NOT HARD. my nails are SOFT. the only thing that makes them seem okay for a second is the gel topcoat and the tips underneath. They are like marshmallows. I continue to, in proper college girl fashion, sob uncontrollably in my car. Over my botched nails. Thanks Kim. Now, here I am later in the day, with a cracking topcoat over soft nails. I best compare it to chocolate covered marshmallows, where the hard chocolate shell cracks and then it's just softness. I have attached pictures of the monstrosities that are attached to my fingertips, along with a picture of the nails I had before that she ripped off where I had asked for the same shape and length. This place is "meh". Certainly not the worst but far and away from the best. The location is extremely convenient and the front receptionist is always so nice and accommodating and the facility is clean. However, the actual service is lacking tremendously. I've been here a few times for a mani-pedi and the basics like asking what shape you want, and cleaning out the underside of the nail after the lotion and goop comes off, filing the side walls NOT just the length, buffing after filing so your nails are not jagged claws etc is not there. I pay for the delux services and expect these basic things to be present. read more

The police were called in on a customer while I was there. NOT COOL. Maybe they were distracted, but when I walked in I was told pick a color and have a seat. It will be 20 minutes. Ok, no problem. It was only 10 minutes so I really appreciated that. I picked a pedicure service. The attendant took my polish, motioned to have a seat, started her timer, and walked away. I sat down, got comfy. Water was good, they had a liner in the tub. Two thumbs up. The seats are newer, but seemed shabby, but comfortable enough. I settle in and start looking around the place. There were lovely coffered ceilings, big somewhat gawdy chandeliers. If they had stopped there, it would have been a visually relaxing experience. Unfortunately, they felt the need to line these coffered ceilings with FLASHING NEON lights. All over the salon...yes...flashing neon nights and 20 (yes...20) TV's on various channels. I was never offered any drink, water or otherwise. The pedicure was fair except for the lotion or solution in the water which really dried my feet out. They are like sandpaper. I think another reviewer mentioned this as well. This has never happened at my normal salon which is LA Salon on the other side of 85. I get pedicures twice a month, never had my feet feel like this. Finally, the man at the front desk who I'm guessing is the manager with dark gelled or oily thinning hair, walks briskly up and down the aisles looking like a prison warden. He never once smiled at anyone. His shirt was absolutely inappropriate for the work place. Black TShirt with gold writing. The front said "Imported for my talents". Ok, I kinda liked that because he did seem foreign. Then I see the back which said "Exported for my habits". Wow...... Count me as one and done with this place! read more

I was running errands before a trip and realized that I hadn't made a nail appointment before our departure, so since I was in the same plaza as this salon I called to see if they would be able to accommodate a walk in. They said yes, and when I walked in I was in a chair within five minutes with two different nail techs (one doing my gel mani and one doing my gel pedi). Both of them were really attentive and friendly, I never once felt like they were distracted or just trying to rush through my service. They were very quick, though! It only took about forty minutes for a great mani/pedi and then I got my eyebrows done. The place is clean and they have all kinds of things on the TVs (even espn which is cool for a nail salon). I got an SNS French manicure and a signature pedicure ("Gelato on my mind" by OPI) in preparation for a 10 year anniversary trip to Italy (my toe nail polish turned out SO cute and I've received a ton of compliments from tourists and locals ). It's been a week since I got these services done and my nails and toes still look fresh. I am so glad I dropped in and was pleasantly surprised that I received a 20% "Grand opening" discount! There was hardly a wait and both techs were friendly, gentle and gave me exactly what I wanted. (I was apprehensive about SNS because I didn't know what it was, but I wanted something that looks natural and lasted longer than gel given how often I wash my hands. It was perfect!) read more

I wanted a full set of acrylic nails with a little heart design. I showed the lady at the front desk a picture to try to see how much it would cost off the bat before I sat down. I was told it would be like $40 something bucks which is normally what I would pay anywhere else. After sitting for 25 minutes without no one starting on me and watching the workers walk all over the place on their phone and just having conversations. A lady finally started on me. My boyfriend also got his eyebrows waxed and honestly it wasn't worth spending $12 on. I told the lady that I didn't want my nails too long after talking me into getting the coffin shape. She never disclosed that it would be extra for the shaping which to me his crazy. At the end I was pretty much over Charged and it's been about a week in a half and my nails have broken off just from washing dishes. PLEASE DONT GO HERE I went here to get a facial wax and had a reaction and when I let them know about it they were being very disrespectful and said they won't refund me. They lady who did my acrylic nails did them so roughly and didn't do them right at all I had to get them off the next day. Literally wasted all my Money. I've been to a bunch of nails salon and have never had such an ugly experience. Oh and they tell you face wax is $30 and don't even mention the fact that nose and forehead are an extra 10 they let you know about it when they are done doing it. A few of my friends had recommended this place to me after having a positive experience so I decided to get my nails done here for prom and obviously I wanted to get something fancy because, you know, its prom. First off, the gel color options they give you are terrible. They are extremely basic but they did have chrome selections which I was interested in. I asked the nail tech how it worked because I have never had chrome before and she said it would go on top of the nail. Well..duh. So, I then asked if it would go on top of the white color that I previously picked out and she said yes it would. So I was under the impression that I was getting a white color with chrome on the top. When I noticed her putting a purple color on my nails, I asked if it would disappear and it would just be the chrome part. She said yes. Again, I had never gotten chrome before. After painting all of my nails purple, she began to add the chrome part and this is when I realized what was happening. I tried to tell her that this wasn't what I thought it was going to be like and she got frustrated and aggressive with me. She took off the purple and to make HER life easier, I told her to just do white knowing I was going to go somewhere else to get them fixed. I understand there was miscommunication throughout the process but there was no need for her to be rude about it. After all, I am paying you. Cost me $45. Will not be back. read more

I really like that you are never pressured to upgrade services here, though add ons are offered, they are never forced on you like I have experienced at other nail place. I've gone 5 or 6 times and normally they are great! My time before last was horrible! I switched from acrylic to SNS and paid the extra charge to get my acrylic taken off and my SNS were super thick and lumpy and uneven. When I went back today the nail tech even commented on how bad my set was and was shocked when I told her I had gotten them done here previously. I chose ombré today and the lady doing my nails asked me about my pricing multiple times, which seemed like she was unsure of me being able to afford them... and although my nails look okay, she cut multiple fingers with her filing and was just unpleasant to work with. read more

This salon is super spacious and very clean! I went in on a Friday afternoon with no wait time and both technicians who did my manicure and pedicure were super sweet and really took their time. I was immediately greeted by the owners and management as soon I walked in and they were all very accommodating. I did sns for my hands by Sam. They have a huge color selection for sns (the most variety I've seen in all salons I've been to so far). I usually like my nails very neutral and not too thick and she made sure they were perfect. My pedicure was also great; I am always on my feet for work and they made sure to really take care of all the gross dead skin and my feet/polish still look exactly the same almost a week later! read more

Had a nice quality time with my son today for a pampering pedicure. This is our 5th time coming here since they opened. It's a very elegant spa and very close to home. My son got a kids pedicure and he enjoyed it. I requested and even pointed for the Red Wine pedicure twice. My nail technician Kim came back with pumpkin spice scrubs and pumpkin lotion. I thought it was a part of the Red Wine pedicure so I didn't say anything. I have to admit it was very relaxing especially the foot rub she did a great job. At the end I didn't get my Red Wine pedicure so I'm guessing it's the language barrier. Which made me kinda disappointed, she was also kinda rushy when it was time to pay. I got a pink and white SNS on October 1st that I paid $50. I don't mind paying for it because in the past when I went to other salon it lasted 3 weeks and was also told the same here. Within 8 days it started to chip and crack. I called and spoke with Kelly and sent pictures too. She called back to tell me the policy is only 3 to 5 days to fix. When I pay $50 and you tell me it will last 3 weeks I expect my nails to look good and last longer than 5 days! I will never do business with them again. I love this salon. Whenever I'm in the area I always try to stop here for a luxurious pedicure. They have so many options and add on services that it can seem overwhelming. I try to come with a specific design in mind and try a new type of pedicure every time. They service is lovely, they offer me water and give me a pillow to rest my hands on. The technicians are all very skilled and are meticulous when it comes to the grooming and design of my nails. I always leave here refreshed and with a new interesting design to show off. read more

The place is very large and not relaxing with all the neon lights. I was very disappointed the my toe nail polish chipped within a week. I've never had this issue before at any other place. Tried this place multiple times and every time I come away disappointed and upset. I had to go back 3 separate times to get my nails fixed and that were rude and unprofessional and my nails still broke off after a few hours, even though the most "strenuous" thing i did was try to run my fingers through my hair. I had the absolute worst experience. I was physically in pain for most of this as the lady doing my nails kept messing up. I did not get the color or length I asked for. My nails look extremely bad and when I asked to speak to a manger they said that did not know when a manger was working. I would never return here. I DO NOT recommend them. Another amazing job done by Andy. He has done a better job on my nails than any tech I have gone to in the city but is extremely affordable in comparison. He has been able to accomplish any nail design (in most cases even better) that I have showed him from the nail blogs that I follow. A true hidden gem, no exaggeration. The facility is also the nicest that I have encountered anywhere outside of Buckhead. Customer service is also nothing short of amazing. They take their time and are extremely friendly but also very professional. I have already been back three times and will definitely continue giving this nail salon my business. I went there with my friend and my four year old daughter. I had to check it out because they are brand new and they had 20% discount. I just got my regular pedicure and I feel like they only care more about customer with expensive services. I may give them one more chance to revise my review and I hope they do better next time. I ha both a mani and pedi. Pedi, no complaints. My SNS nails lasted one day. They started chipping after one day and right before a holiday. The salon was open on a Sunday so I thought I would give them a try. My bill was $70 and I gave a $20 tip. This is very expensive for a horrible job. Do not go there and waste your money. read more
