The technicians here have no idea what they're doing. Your eyes should NEVER burn during a lash appointment! I ended up coming here temporarily while my regular technician was away, and every single visit left my eyes red, burning, and in pain. After my first technician caused severe irritation, I switched to another--only to experience the same horrible results. My eyes were so red and painful that I couldn't even open them properly, let alone drive after my appointments. When I brought up my concerns with the front desk, they had the audacity to tell me that I was simply "not a good candidate for lash extensions." That's completely false--I've been getting them for years with no issues at reputable salons. I even overheard them telling the same excuse to a teenager during my first visit. This place has no business offering lash services. When done correctly, extensions should never cause burning, redness, or pain. If you experience this, RUN. It's a whole vibe when you walk in to the salon. I love the atmosphere, music and set up. Now for the cut experience. This is probably the first time a man has cut my hair. Dijae did not bother to introduce himself, however my feelings were not hurt. I was just praying he doesn't jack up my hair. He asked what I wanted and I showed him a picture and explained that I want some more volume especially when I wear my natural hair. I have a lot of hair and I feel like my curls get weighed down. So I need some "umph" I don't know if it was me or him just being super quiet, he probably said about 5 words to me the whole appointment. I read my book and let him do his thang. I may be used to women THEY BE TALKING!! Ya know. But again, not mad at that. He definitely gave me a beautiful haircut and I will be back for maintenance.
