1/5 My experience at…read moreEuropean Wax Center was disappointing. Hannah tried to make the waxing as comfortable as possible, but it was still one of the more painful waxing experiences I've had. My bigger issue was with the business practices. I was sold on a package during my appointment and was quoted one price (around $156), but by the time I got to the front desk the amount had increased to $192. The pricing structure was confusing and never felt transparent. The constant focus on packages, memberships, products, and "savings" made me feel like I was being sold to rather than simply paying for a service. I later received another charge on my credit card weeks after canceling my future appointment because of the payment structure attached to the package. While the company pointed to terms on its website, I do not feel the ongoing automatic charges were honestly and clearly disclosed when the package was sold to me in person. Good customer service is not about pointing customers to fine print after the fact. It is about being honest, upfront, and transparent before the sale is made. Customers should clearly understand what they are paying, what future charges will occur, and how the billing works before agreeing to anything. I have no issue paying for services. My issue is confusing pricing, constant upselling, and a business model that did not feel customer friendly. Had everything been explained honestly and clearly from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, I was left feeling misled about the true cost and billing structure.

All I have to say is book with Kennady! I came in for a Brazilian sugaring wax, and let's just say... I was very overdue. I walked in mentally preparing myself for pain, but Kennady completely changed my expectations. I don't know what magical technique she used, but the wax was almost painless. Seriously. There was only one strip that stung a bit, but honestly, it was nothing compared to what I was expecting. Kennady clearly knows what she's doing. On top of that, she was such a pleasure to talk to. I felt completely comfortable the entire time, which is not always easy during a Brazilian. She's warm, professional, and really knowledgeable. She took the time to walk me through aftercare, and I actually learned a few new things (education is gold, and she definitely delivered!). Bottom line: I'll only be booking with Kennady from now on. If you've been putting off your wax or are nervous to try sugaring, go see her. You won't regret it.

My husband had a quick men's mani/pedi which left his hands and feet moisturized and clean. My pedicure was great, I did an aqua color which I enjoyed and then I originally asked for a chrome aqua color for my manicure as well, but changed my mind to get a chrome orange after she shaped my nails. Not sure if me changing my mind made my manicurist forget that I also wanted chrome, so after doing my complete set, I had to have another lady take all the color off and start again because the chrome was supposed to be the first layer. Had I realized this (I rarely get my nails done so I don't really know the process), I would have spoken up before she got so far along. The end result was still nice and I enjoyed chatting with both manicurists. A perk of this place was a complimentary drink as well (sodas, juices and a selection of alcohol) which was nice. The bathroom was clean and tidy as well. All in all, I enjoyed spending my birthday morning here getting pampered. Thank you!

This place is located in Sola Salon Studios. There are multiple suites offering different services. Look for suite #40. I didn't plan to drive far for eyebrow threading this time around. Rita threading just happens to be the closest location to my house. With the rave reviews, I had to check it out myself. Let me echo what people have said already. It's eyebrow threading - how can you elevate that activity to the next level? Honestly, I have experienced threading that produced a little tear in my eye - it's almost inevitable since you're getting your hair pulled from the root. Rita works wonders by making the whole process painless. She was so gentle and meticulous at the same time. After the threading, trimming, and plucking, my eyebrows were shaped beautifully. This was a last minute add-on, but Rita was able to remove my nose blackheads with wax. My nose looks awesome!!! I can't believe I've been missing out on this my entire life. No doubt about it - I'm returning soon to get this done again. This may not be as obvious, but Rita also does makeup and hairstyle, including weddings. Simply send her your inspiration so she is prepared ahead of time. In terms of appointments, I initially called, but it is easier just to text her. I highly recommend seeing her.
