I just had a really awful experience here. Which sucks, because I really wanted to like it. I've been once before and I really enjoyed it so I decided to give it another try today. Christ, where to begin. I went during a non-busy hour (3 P.M.) and there were maybe like 2 other customers when I got there? I asked for a dip mani on my hands and a regular pedicure on my toes. I was assigned to this older man who would be doing my dip mani. I was indecisive on a color because I am in a wedding this weekend and had to pick a color that matched my dress. This is when this older man started to get agitated with me. But if you've been in a large wedding you know some brides can be very particular. Anyway, so then I ask the guy which regular OPI nail polish corresponds with the dip I got. He told me to go pick it myself...awkward because I literally have no idea which one to pick but whatever. I shouldn't have assumed he would know the answer to that. So then I sit down and he works on my hands while I'm getting a pedicure. He gets dip powder all over me which was made super obvious by my black leggings lol but whatever it's not a big deal. Then I notice he starts huffing and puffing every time I check my phone. Mind you, I'm very considerate that he's working on my hands so I try to not check it too often. But I assume, I am imagining things. Like no way this guy is being so blatantly rude. He then starts working on my cuticles, I try not to look when they work on cuticles. I could feel him going insanely fast but figured he was probably pretty skilled. Turns out he missed some. He also cut me. But that would be the least offensive thing about the day. As he finished my dip job he began on the actual manicure. I kid you not when I say this man slathered so much oil on my arms afterward and just slid his hands up and down twice and left leaving my arm super oily. I mean the oil was POOLING on my arm. Egh. Gross. I grabbed a towel next to me and wiped down my arms. Then this man starts heading to his next client. I get his attention and ask "could you also remove the dip that's on my skin?" He does. Then I ask if he can remove some more cuticle on a finger and.....HE GRABS MY OTHER HAND AND GOES "WHAT ABOUT THIS ONE AND THIS ONE OR THIS ONE?!" It was super aggressive and mocking. This man was ANGRY. I'll be real, it scared me so I did shed a few tears. I think the whole experience was so bizarre that it caught me off guard. I think anyone who knows me knows that I'm not one of those crazy and demanding clients. It was truly just a bizarre experience. The rest of the staff was very very kind. They did a wonderful job on my pedicure and on my mothers pedicure and manicure. My experience was only exceptionally poor due to this man. This is what I get for cheating on Katy at Four Seasons down the street. Thanks for reading my novel. Also, for those wondering about my nails. The dip job is too thick for my taste. I'm used to a a thinner dip job when I get them done elsewhere but whatever that was obviously the least of my concerns when I left lol. I've come to this nail salon for almost a year now. They do great pedicures & manicures. I recently got my nails done and Lucy did a great job! But I will say that almost every time I get my manicures, whether it's a fill or new set, they always rush toward the end it doesn't matter who's doing my nails and I end up leaving with the white residue all over my hands even after I wash them. They also leave the extra paint underneath your nails, it doesn't look too bad just might appear bulky at times. read more

I came by here to get a dip powder and a pedi! This was recommended by a friend who loves this place. After perusing their menu, which seemed a little pricey, I came out spending more than I thought plus the nail tech cut my big toe like the previous review, yikes! It was hurting for quite a few days, ouch. I did dig the pedi color which was purple, but the dip powder was a disappointment and I'm a first timer. The color was more transparent than the sample which looked like a white color with pink/purple. My nails looked too natural, almost not even worth it like a plain mani and clear coat looking. One of my nails already chipped after a few days, sad day. My stars more so go for the full bar and drinks on the house they offer while you pamper yourself and the friendly guy who did my mani. read more

Came here as a walk-in on the whim, I was tired and had my toe chipped from earlier so I was in dire need of a pedicure. Vicki was my nail technician and she was great. She spoke great English and was very sweet. She was fun to talk to! I had the Organic Pedicure and she did a great job. I enjoyed it a lot and was very relaxed. I'm glad her knowing that I was also a nail technician didn't bother her, most nail techs do. The place itself is really pretty, a lot of windows so it lights up the place. White floors and white ceilings, so everything looks clean. I'm personally a huge fan of a gray and white themed environment, so it was really pleasing to the eye upon entering. They have a good drink selection variety. And everything looks really modern and clean. They also have plenty of chairs, so I imagine if it was crazy busy then it wouldn't even be a problem. Vicki took her time with my pedicure and she did a great job. I'd definitely recommend her. I also like the fact that they have purse hooks at the manicure stations for you that's very convenient. And their pillows for the pedicure chairs are really comfy. It's not small like your typical design type pillows, it's the type of comforter pillow that you want on your couch. I also like how most of the salon is an open view that way you can see everything that's going on as well. They also have their sterilization machine in front behind the receptionist desk to let you know that they sterilize their tools. And their hand washing stations are so cute I can't even. Their restroom is also very clean which is a must for me. I think the restroom of any place really is a reflection of the business. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I spend over 240$ for me my husband and my mom. My husband got a basic ass pedicure clean up, I got the same thing with gel polish, and a mani of gel, and my mom got the same thing as I. They did a horrible job with the nail polish it looks unprofessional. They serviced 3 customers before us even though I had an APPOINTMENT. Waiting 1 hour just to be seen. And then I asked her for a nail overlay and it came out super thick when asked to have it thinned out they acted like they truly didn't know what I was talking about. In the midst of a very busy section of Fort Worth, right across the street from Montgomery Plaza, this nail salon definitely does the job. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted. They definitely abide by the rules, you must have a mask, and they also make everybody social distance. Meaning they have acrylic screens on each and every desk as well as the pedicure chair if needed. There is a manager there I believe and he's so sweet! Very nice man and always making sure everyone is okay. It's a very nice nail salon very pretty inside, modern, and most importantly very clean. They have a full service bar as well as plenty a pedicure chairs. They offer everything from dip, acrylic, and more. I came in the morning around 10 AM so I was automatically taken to the very first person and it was fast and good service. I believe I had HOLLY, she was so sweet, very gentle, and very accommodating. I would definitely go back for their pedicures, I am very picky with my nails because I'm very extra, but that doesn't mean that they don't do that. I just went on a whim to do my acrylic nails and they did good. I paid about $50 because I had to fix two nails, I have extra long length nail, and I did Gel on acrylic. Everyone at work they were so nice and what I especially loved was that they hired a person specifically just to go around and clean. This place is a big no, at least the technician I saw, and the manager who justified all my up charges without offering to look at the results they provided. I believe I saw Tony. I walked into the salon at 6:00 pm, and was totally done paying and back to my car by 6:45pm. To say that this job was rushed is an understatement. I did nothing special to my nails, walked in to get only a dip. When dremeling down my old nails, the technician nicked my left ring finger with the drill which was pretty painful, but no big deal. When he got my old dip off, he said, "Your cuticles are long, you need a manicure". Ok, I was considering getting one any way, but wanted to try this place out first before committing to another $12 bucks. I said OK and was looking forward to what they said was included in the "manicure". For $12, the technician barely scraped each nail with the cuticle tool, then proceeded to tug my cuticles off with the cutting tool, not clipping like they normally would. This maybe took all of 2 minutes. After rushing through the rest of my dip nails, he did spend approximately 30 seconds putting lotion on each of my arms. I guess this was the $12 part, because after that I was done. I went to pay, and noticed that there was a $5 fee for the shape of the nail. This is the shape I walked in with, and in addition the manicure verbiage said it included nail shaping. I was confused and asked the manager who was checking me out at the counter why there was an up charge. He proceeded to tell me that I had a custom shape that cost more and that the only shape included in the manicure was square. My nails are far from done well as you can see in the photos below. I have junk all over my hands and under my nails. Several nails are longer then the others and the shapes are not consistently shaped whatsoever. I now have $57 nails that look like crap. I will absolutely not be back to this shop. read more

I went in a couple times as I just moved in to the area. Both were OK.. 3rd time was horrible. I went in and asked for a tech that specifically worked long nails... I got Nick... He was so rude and literally rushed my nail processes.. Did the set in less than 30 min... nails we'd lumpy and finish was not shiny. I will first point out the positive - the staff was friendly, continuously asked how I was doing or if needed anything to drink or whatnot. The place was clean and had a nice vibe to it. My pedicure turned out good, nothing spectacular, but worth the price, roughly $30. My nails are a different story. I walked out feeling completely RIPPED OFF! I paid $65 for a set of acrylic nails! $45 for the Acrylic Set + $5 for Shaping + $15 for the Ombre. I normally get ombre nails with coffin shape and have NEVER been charged extra FOR THE SHAPE I choose. There is usually an up charge for the ombre, usually $5-$7 extra anywhere else I've gone, not $15 like this place charged! After spending this much on a set of nails, I was even more disappointed with the ending result. My cuticles have acrylic on my skin (see my pic). Everyone knows this is a huge no-no! It will cause your nails to lift and eventually pop off sooner than needed. I'm hoping I get Atleast 2 weeks out of this set. I came here during my lunch break since it was close to my job, but I won't be back. I'll stick to the place near my house. read more

I usually go to onyx nail salon, but decided to give this place a try since it closes a bit later. However, I did not have a great experience. I got an acrylic overlay and a pedicure. The person doing my nails seemed to be rushing, but the salon was not even full. My nails were long when I came in and I asked for them to be shortened. He didn't clip them at all and only used a file to shorten them. However, because of how long they were originally I think he should've clipped them and then filed them. He was pretty aggressive with the nail file and overall it wasn't the neatest outcome. I got cut pretty bad in a few fingers and it hurts to even wash my hair now. Also, they have a sign out front with a re-opening discount and I asked my nail tech about and was told it was going on but I didn't receive any discount on my receipt. My pedicure was fine and I'd probably be back here for a pedicure, but I'll stick with onyx for nails. read more

I have had two bad experiences at this salon. The only reason I would think of coming back is if no other nail salon is open after getting home from work (due to their late hours). My first experience left me with the side of my foot rubbed raw/bleeding. The lady was not paying attention while using the pummus stone and was scraping the top side of my foot, even after I asked her to stop. Yesterday, I went in for dipping powder only, no manicure. The nail tech told me he would work on my cuticles too. He ended up making 4 of my fingers bleed; it was the most painful experience I have ever had at a nail salon. He kept apologizing for cutting me. He then added on $5 for cuticle trimming at the end. Cost $45 to leave bloody and in pain. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

My normal go to nail salon, however this may be my last time there. I went for a manicure and toe polish change. I was cut by the manicurist and bled a decent amount three different times during my manicure. Manicure polish came out nice looking at least, however, there was tons of leftover polish under my nails. I asked the technician to clean this up, leading to not only the polish still not being removed but also being but badly under my nail. I also had to ask the nail tech to redo my cuticle trim as the first time was terrible and removed nothing. Instead of first getting the matching OPI polish for my toe nails, the tech also tried to convince me to use a somewhat similar color in a different brand. She didn't not even attempt to find the correct color until I refused the incorrect polish. read more

A Trump speech was on and the gentleman behind the front desk started bashing out president. I could Not believe how unprofessional it was. Came here for the first time in 2 years today, my nail tech did a great job on my nails but I'm astonished by their price gouging & lack of communication about how much your services will actually come out to. I walked in and asked for an acrylic full set & showed the manager what design I wanted right off the bat. He asked if I wanted acrylic nails with gel polish instead of regular and I said yes, he also let me know that my design would cost a little more but that my tech would tell me how much more. I ended up being charged for solar powder nails, not acrylic ($10 difference) & $20 for my basic design. Are you kidding?? My total came out to $73, and these are not $73 nails. If I had been told how much they were going to charge me for my design I would've just not gotten the design or gone somewhere else where I know I could get it cheaper. They didn't even have the exact colors I wanted nor did my design come out exactly like my inspo pic. Don't get me wrong, they're close enough and I'm very happy with them but not for $73.
