Delayed flight in the C gate area? Vino Volo is a great spot to chill at! The staff are really friendly and attentive and there is plenty of seating. I stopped by just to grab a glass of Prosecco and it was delicious.

This location at MKE Airport was a decent one, although the service was a little slower than expected, especially when trying to just cash out and make it to my flight on time. I liked the selection of wines which varies slightly from location to location. The complimentary Amuse Bouche had Marcona Almonds which were great to munch on! I'll make sure to hit this location again if I'm flying out of Milwaukee again.

Go past the Starbucks down toward the end of the concourse! You'll find freshly roasted coffee at a reasonable price & comfortable seating. Shared space between the wine bar & the coffee shop. Love these chairs! We appreciate the fact you always have decaf & don't up charge for it by making an Americano. Courteous service by your staff as well. Love your chairs here-Restoration Hardware. If you remodel, let me know! I'm looking for some like this!

Wine sampling and charcuterie

Melanie and Mandola were fantastic. They made great suggestions for our wine and meals. The experience was fantastic, and while we're not in Milwaukee often we are restaurant owners and were impressed with their service! Thank you so much!

During this visit, I had time to dine without rushing. Decided to have a heavy late lunch, skipped breakfast. Got usual white wine flight along with the beef brisket meal that comes with roasted potatoes and peas. Although peas are not my favorite the beef was tender and delicious. Potatoes were meh, not sure if the beef can be made into a sandwich... if it could be that would be divine. Service was good too. Love the loyalty program.

Menu listed a glass of Temperanillo as $14. Check came, it was $16. I mentioned it to the girl at bar, she said she had no control over menu pricing. Seriously? Bruschetta and truffle potatoes were delicious but not much to them. Unfortunately had to take $2 off tip due to lack of concern over misleading price on wine. It's the principle folks.

Naonis Prosecco

The Mediterranean platter was exceptional as well as our friendly server Inge! Would highly recommend if you have an hour before your flight boards.

I wanted to find a good meal in the Milwaukee airport (usually it's hard to come by one in the airport) and Vino Volo did not disappoint! The bruschetta was fresh and delicious. The soup was hot and wonderful. I could have had a few bowls. My waiter was also extremely nice and even gave me a fun glass for my ginger ale! Great services and I will definitely be going back again!

Bruschetta and West Coast Kings flight

Great service and light food for a snack. Melanie was attentive and fantastic. The value is excellent, especially for an airport price structure.

Sparkler flight

Great, friendly service from Melanie! Enjoyed the Sparkler Flight. Great way to start my vacation :)

Acceptable quality food, ambiance not bad for an airport but still not quite enough room for the average person with average carry on baggage (not emotional baggage), acceptable service, and better than your other choices at MKE. Still, you want to spend your money on your trip, even if it's a work trip so I would pack a lunch and stop here for the coffee (which is well made) The espresso is the best thing about this place though it comes in a sad disposable cup even if you drink here.

Lazy employee

My wife and I were killing time during a lengthy flight delay in the evening on August 17. We walked up to this place, and the woman working said she has just finished last call. About 45 minutes later, we walked by and there were still many patrons with full glasses of wine. And, I saw her serve another glass. Thinking she may have decided to stay open, I walked up to the bar. Again, she informed me that she had just finished last call. When I reminded her that that's what she told me 45 minutes earlier, she desperately searched for an excuse, saying that she was only continuing to serve the customers already seated. That's not what last call is. It simply appears she didn't want to deal with additional customers. She is lazy. Then, from outside of the location (about 15-20 feet away) I took a picture of her to use to send to the management. She then started yelling, "Do you want my name," following me as I walked away, yelling it three times. I finally turned around and told her sternly, "Don't yell at me." She then stopped the aggressive behavior. I checked back 30 minutes later and she is STILL serving. This lazy employee needs to be fired. Don't give this place your business.

Graydin L. Nice attentive service and let me try taste two Pinot Noir glasses. When we do this we can offer a better gratuity! Easily said.

First time here. It's a historic building on the south end of Bay View. A big old white building…read more(previously called the White House) with a small parking lot on the south side. We had reservations at 6:00 on a Saturday night. (It was cold, a little drizzly, and windy out.) The front entrance has several steep steps, and when you walk through, you are literally at the host station. They were going to seat us right behind the host station, but we knew it was going to be a problem as people went in and out. We asked to be seated a little farther from the door, and after a bit of discussion (it sounded like this was going to be a little issue), they were able to find a table for two in the parlor. So glad! Got settled in right away with menus and waters. Our server did a good job of getting us up to speed on the menu, the service, and the cocktails. They did a very good job throughout the evening (thanks, Roberto). We settled on the Window Seat (Beef Tallow and Rosemary Washed Vodka, crazy but true) and the Night Clubbing (with espresso-infused Campari). Both were very good choices. We decided that we wanted to start with three dishes and then regroup if we needed more. These included the Bok Choy Salad, Cumin and Cinnamon Braised Pork Shoulder, and Venison Tartare (Dijon Ice Cream?). The Bok Choy Salad was a real surprise, with the entire collection being so bright and flavorful. The dates had a meaty quality. The dressing with Nuoc Cham was savory with just a bit of heat. We both decided that we could have made an entire meal of that. The Pork Shoulder came next and was a good portion, with the meat tender and flavorful. The Quinoa Polenta was interesting, but I can't say that it was something I would seek out. I have had Beef Tartare before, but this was a first for Venison Tartare, so of course I just had to order it. What struck me first was that the entire thing (not just the Dijon Ice Cream) was very cold, almost frozen. I tried a couple of bites, and it was so cold that unless you let it sit in your mouth to thaw out, it was somewhat tasteless. I spread it around the plate to thaw out, and it was a big improvement. It's a good-sized portion, and even after loading up on the three pieces of bread, there was still plenty left (maybe a couple more pieces of bread?). There were a couple of desserts that we would have loved to try, but we were full and had a performance to attend. So we will have to wait until next time. Really enjoyed our first dinner. Loved the inventiveness of the menu. The staff all seem to really care about the business and the diners. With the placement of the front door and the draftiness of the dining room, we will likely book our next dinner when the weather turns warmer.

What a gem of a place located in a street corner in a historic house in Bayviee. This place had a…read morecozy but spacious feel. They were festive with Halloween decorations and had a gothic feel. I tried the lamb jerk dumplings and tofu. Highly recommend. They both had unique flavors especially the lamb. The tofu had a nice crispy texture to it with the soy based sauce glazed over it with scallions. I also tried a mocktail version of La Pucelle, it wasn't explicitly listed in the mocktails section so you can order a mocktail version of some the alcoholic cocktails. For dessert I tried the Panna Cotta, it was my first time ever trying it and tho go get it was really good. It had a pomegranate sorbet scoop on top sprinkled with frankincense laid on a bed of shaved ice with the creamy base at the bottom of the bowl. It was refreshing! The waiter was very helpful, he explained how they served food and drinks and when I asked about I n residents for the dessert he was able to describe them in detail.
