I stopped by this place for dinner before my Delta flight on a Tuesday night. This place is extremely overpriced for the amount/portion of food. The clam chowder was delicious but for $11, I barely got a bowl. It was more like half a serving. I didn't think it was worth more than $5. I also got the tuna salad and although very good, it wasn't filling at all. These entrees go for about $15-$20+ but they are only appetizer size. I understand this is an airport restaurant and it is Boston but c'mon!! At least the portions should be regular size. I had to go to the news station and buy more food after spending $35 here!! Crazy expensive! The waitress was also not that friendly. I could tell she hated her job and wanted to leave work. She forgot my water at first and I felt like I was bothering her for a glass. It shouldn't have to be that way when I am the paying for her tips! I would probably skip this place next time and just get something at the news station to be honest.

Great selection of premium wines and flights as well. I would've loved to try items on the food menu but the kitchen was closed when I walked in at 9:30pm. I'm not sure why everything at this airport closes so early but it is annoying! Although I realize it may be the airport and not the fault of the restaurant itself. The wine I ordered was light and refreshing. I can't remember the name but the bartender handed me an card on the wine with region information and grape specifics. I'd definitely recommend checking out this place and was a nice, upscale change to traditional airport bar or typical chain restaurants.

Great place to unwind while waiting for flights. I ordered the bubbly wine flight. It was delicious! My favorite was the rosé one.

Why settle for a glass of wine when you get can sample many? My 1st time seeing a Vino Volo in airport (Terminal A) & it served me fine in passing time with a glass of wine. Ode to the company's namesake 'Wine Flight', as I selected the World Value Reds. $10 price point for sampling Dolcetto, Malbec & Shiraz wines...2 out of 3 were satisfying to my palate. There was only a handful of customers, so receiving good customer service simultaneously from Leena & Omar worked out for me. Although an airport location, the interior & set up is the same as other locations I've visited, just on a smaller scale. They offer free Wi-Fi, retail products & this location is opened until 30 minutes before the last departing flights. Glad to see more establishments such as Vino Volo in airport terminals.

Stopped here for a bite to eat during my layover. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice and friendly, I ordered a glass of wine & he gave me a specific coaster with it that described the wine. I also ordered a salad and cured meat plate which were both delicious and came out VERY quickly so perfect for before a flight. A little pricey in my opinion but to be expected from a Napa-Valley themed wine bar in an airport

A below average vino volo. Because obviously I'm a seasoned pro at these establishments *laughs.* I guess it's just darker and more dreary than I would like, but I suppose that comes hand in hand with being in the dungeon of Logan Airport. Other locations I've been to have always been above ground w some sort of "view." 2 big annoyances -- no outlets to charge the iPhone. And the only airport restaurant I have been to that serves silverware forks with PLASTIC knives. What. The. Fcuk.

This place just opened this year and it's all the way at one end of Terminal B so you may have to go looking to find it. It's worth the effort! Tasty wine flights with lots of choices and knowledgeable winetenders to help you out. Small plates to munch on too.

Sparkling wine of the day. Not bad.

Airport food, one step higher than American airport bar (I know, that doesn't say much...). Nice wine selection and a wine tasting menu for those who like sampling. Mostly tapas-style food. Free wifi. A good solution when I need a glass of wine to settle pre-flight anxiety...

Wandering through Terminal E, there isn't a lot of choice for food and places to sit to eat (for an international terminal it's pretty poor). Luckily, on traipsing past the food area, I was able to (after a short wait) get a seat, at a table at Vino Volo. A large selection of wines to choose from, and some light bites to eat (I wasn't too hungry by that time of night, but needed some sustenance) - this was just what I'd been looking for. Quick service, good food and drink, interesting tasting notes as to what I was drinking - definitely the best choice in the terminal.

We started with the patatas bravas which were crispy, savory, hot, and delicious. The lamb skewers were sooo good - tender and paired so well with the buttery brioche and pickled onions. We also loved the steak and chorizo - sooo delicious with the garlic aioli. Portions are on the small side and you are charged extra for any adds! The service is where we were let down and why I cannot rate any higher. We came on a Saturday afternoon and despite it not being too busy, it took almost an hour for even our first dish to come out. Additionally, it wasn't until after our first dish came out that we were told they were out of two other dishes that we had ordered. Each dish took a long time with delivery and our server was nowhere to be found (never got our water refilled, never checked in on us, and never even checked us out and we had to learn on our own that we use the QR code).

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. Also attached/sister company to American Provisions I believe (great spot in Southie for sandwiches, cheeses, wines, pastries, rare food items).

Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. While a few dishes hit the mark, the majority of our order was a letdown: Tinned Octopus: Surprisingly chewy and lacked seasoning. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but it was definitely disappointing given how much I usually love this place!

Our server was super friendly and attentive, and she even offered a few samples so we could try before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. For food, we shared the hot dog with fried oysters to pair with the wine, and it was surprisingly delicious and a fun, elevated bar bite. Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Pricing is definitely on the higher end, with wine glasses around $20 and the hot dog at $14, but the quality and experience justify it. I'd absolutely come back for another wine night.

The menu refers to these as "Greek cheese bread" but somehow that doesn't do it justice - these were immensely pillowy and cheesy, with an amazing crust, with homemade honey butter on the side. I could have had just these for dinner and been satisfied. They really nailed the bread. My other favorites: 1. Hipiti: spicy whipped feta with crispy potatoes on the side. I don't do well with spice but I absolutely loved this. 2. Marouli: winter lettuce with the most amazing vinaigrette dressing. My only knock to this is, presentation-wise, they serve it with half of the plate empty and the other half with salad. I don't understand why restaurants do this because - one, it only highlights the smaller portion and two, we're just going to mix the salad all around in the bowl anyway. 3. Boudeto: daily catch in a beautiful tomato broth. For a seafood dish at a restaurant in Back Bay, this was priced at a fairly reasonable $28. The only dish that fell a little flat for me was the tzatziki - needed a bit more seasoning. As it was, I was eating mostly just plain yogurt. The table-side preparation was cool, though. The space is its own visual dinner, there's simply a lot to look at (including a drawing of Poseidon riding a surf board). We got the big table in the back, which was a beautiful glass structure with a whole terrarium underneath. We couldn't stop marveling at it throughout the meal. Our waiter was wonderful - very helpful recommendations, came by to check on us often even though we were pretty far in the back, super patient with our questions. Hard to get reservations but worth it! Don't bother driving / trying to find parking unless you're willing to eat a hefty garage fee, it's Back Bay.
