In the display you could view what the room of the person who was in charge of the boarding house looked like as well as the kitchen and dining area. One of the displays showed the life story of a few young ladies who moved into the boarding house. In some instances the mill jobs led to other opportunities in their future lives. On the second floor they had a sample of what a boarding house room for the ladies would look like. The room was not too big but yet 4 ladies slept too a room.

Once up too, check in with the Amtrak personnel who will take your train info and be sure to give you a boarding call when your train has arrived. There is a large seating area up a few steps more filled with a variety of comfortable seating options. On the same level as the check-in desk are a number of seats and work stations. Restrooms are at the back of the lounge. Snacks, water and newspapers are across from check-in. You can ask for a soda or coffee. This is a very nice perk for travelers, offering a quiet, safe space to wait for your train. You can also leave your bag here if you'd like to go down to the concourse to get a bite to eat, or explore the city if you have time.

As much as I don't like to myself there is a large spectrum of dress and even I think it has tilted too far to the casual. The acoustics are reasonable and the conductor was very entertaining. The floors aren't crappy and there aren't any loose boards. The facilities are fine and shouldn't have to resort to carrying a bottle purell. The music is old school, undoubtedly. Hey, if you were looking for something more updated, you'd be heading to the club, yeah? There's a live band and when they take breaks, there's recorded music to keep things going. It's a good workout and can be a lot of fun. People there are generally friendly and some will dance with you if you're alone. I didn't spot any creepers. Checking-in on Yelp will yield you a free drink. They have sodas, water, and juices. There are workshops and swing dance lessons before open dance period, if you're in need to not embarrass yourself in front of your date.

I came back the next week and took the free lessons again and got better. I had a blast! The next week, I brought a first date promising her a fun night of dancing. We had so much fun at the lessons together and then dancing to the amazing band, Eight To The Bar! About 2 years later, that sweet girl and I were married. Inside there are bathrooms and a place to check in and get in the virtual queue for q shower if you came in from an international flight. The bar has complimentary and paid beverages from a menu on the countertop. Next to the bar area is the hot food area. This hot food was better than most of the clubs that I have been in. There was a big variety of healthy food like salads and prepared dishes in the warmers. They also had fresh baked cookies and brownies. In a few areas, there was a coffee, tea, and soda station. The club was pretty crowded but I had no problem finding seating near a big screen TV and it was quite comfortable. This was a great place to wait until heading to the gate for board my plane to go home from Boston.

We found a spot to sit and I went to the bathroom. Well this same lady came in and yelled out last names as if she was looking for us. He said I'm right here and all she did was look at him and walk away. The food portion here was just alright reminded me of s hotel buffet type. There was an incredibly nice woman who came around and interacted with us asking if we needed anything like a drink . I had been to a few lounges prior to this and only had the most amazing experience at them and unfortunately this time this was a horrible miss for delta.
