They do not close at 6. Their hours are until 4 but really they turn you away at 3:45 if not earlier. By 4 everything is cleaned up and put away and door is shut without exception. Even earlier at times. When they take ur call they are quick to get you off the phone before you know it thank you and click. That being said the only reason any of that bothers me is because I love their sandwiches and I wish they'd extend their hours to 6 and also that they would actually serve up u til the time the posted hours. The sandwiches are 5 stars but I had to be honest I don't appreciate the service. I think they should speak with the staff and fix this or get a new staff. read more

This is a really good sandwich place that I like to come to during my lunch breaks (the shop is located across the street from Huntington Memorial Hospital). The sandwiches look pretty normal but are really tasty. I don't know if it's the ingredients or the way they prep the sandwiches. They have a pretty diverse menu and the prices are very reasonable. For me personally, the service is also very fast and can easily fit into a 30 minute lunch break (including eating). read more

OK sandwiches, they do delivery so it's convenient. I don't like going to the actual location because it's a strip mall and shares with grocery store VONS it's always busy and hard to find parking. They have a good variety of sandwiches and fillings so you can or get one to your liking if you're on the pick side, they have a section just for Avocado lovers. The sandwiches are maybe three inches thick with ingredients so the bread is thinner so it doesn't look balanced and doesn't look like it will hold up but they turn out ok since they are made fresh and not soggy. Rather have a sandwich from here over Subway any day, I usually go with the Roast Beef or Pastrami and mushroom. They also have other food items like salad that are of giant portions if you aren't feeling in the sandwich mood. The small circular tables inside are more comfortable for seating parties of two at a time and nothing bigger than that. Free refills on fountain drinks! read more

To prep this review, I consider myself a "foodie" but not a "food snob". Went to Vince's today for sandwich based on the many good/ 4 star reviews...looked clean and busy when I got there. I ordered a Chicken salad sandwich on a French roll..... the gal taking my order asked the other gal if the chicken salad was ready which raised my expectation thinking it was super fresh. In short, what a disappointment... the chicken salad was bland, tasteless, over run with mayo and the ratio of bread to chicken salad was equally disappointing...I should've gone to Vons in the same complex but I always try to support small business, in this case corporate was the way to go. No picture attached cuz there was nothing to show....literally. I have been going to Vince for years. The quality of the food has been good for a long time. Last week I ordered the number one which is ham turkey and Swiss on a roll with lettuce light mayo tomato pickle and red onion. When I got back to the office to eat the sandwich I noticed they only put one slice of turkey and one slice of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese. This is all I receive for $7.49 plus tax? I would rather them raise the price $.50 or a dollar and provide more meat and cheese as they used to. Rather than cut back on the meats and cheeses due to the increased cost of those products. If this continues to occur I will start using a different sandwich shop. The service at Vinces is always good and consistent. They do have places to sit inside and out but the ambience is nothing to speak of. I think the interior could use a remodel since it hasn't changed in many years. read more

Great sandwiches. We went on a weekday around noon. When we got there there was only one person ahead of us. When it was our time my husband told the woman about his sesame and tree nut allergies and she was very nice letting him know which breads he could have. This place gets two stars for being friendly and clean, but 0 stars for the food. Four of us each had a different sandwich. The salami and cold cuts were average supermarket quality, and lacking in any flavor. The bacon on my turkey/bacon sandwich was scant and totally flavorless. No flavor. The vegetables were fresh, but the construction was totally off. There was WAY too much mayo. I'm talking gobs and gobs; and barely any onion, pickle, tomato, lettuce. The shop itself is pretty small and casual. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'm picky about pastrami but this is probably one of the best pastrami sandwiches I have had (I don't like my pastrami very fatty). They make their pastrami two ways (NY & regular). I got the regular. All of our sandwiches were ordered in the large size and the portions were extremely generous. Parking is easy and their hours are convenient. Perfect meal on a hot day. How have I not reviewed this place? It's been a family favorite for decades. My mother is a nurse at the plaza across the street and this is the mandatory spot I must go to get her lunch if I want to visit her at work. Everything is freshly made, the employees remember you and ask you about your family, they have a nice bottled drink selection, and it's simply nice to support a small, local family business. COVID hours are changed, but they are still in service I believe. Call ahead or check the sign on their door if you happen to walk by. read more
