I have been in this office long time several years Only cleaning or deep cleaning jobs which I hav not cared much and agreed to let dental assistance doing the job Only Jul 2021 The firs time I have crown on my teeth 18th The first appointment: next day my temporary crown fell off The second appointment: next day my temporary crown fell off again He just gave me numb and most of work to let dentist assistant handle it I request to speak with dentist Vince Chen I mentioned that if he was aware of my crown fall off twice. He said yes I request the dentist to have a final review or final check on patient before letting patient leave the office for a crown job next time The procedure was very painful and not comfortable for two weeks The third appt he let his assistant doing all work. ( the hygienist gives me numb and dental assistant doing all work ) No final review of final check from the dentist When I left office I thought he was busy but actually he was surfing on the phone I was really mad My delta insurance is very good. We pay for dentist and not pay for dental assistance doing crown If the crown job which this office can't perform well then can't do further dental problems I hope my crown can stay on even though I still had hard time to chew food I not come back this office for new dental issue any more read more

I've been a patient here for 7 years and have had nothing but great experiences. I've had root canals done, deep teeth cleaning, and braces, all have been great. Let me tell you why you should come here. Before coming here I was fearful of getting any kind of work done. I had a dramatic experience as a child and feared the dentist. VIncent Chen DDS eased my fears he seriously has a gift. The injection you get to numb you before I got my root canal done was PAINLESS! That's right you read it right, you do NOT feel the injections it's amazing, my root canal was pain free from start to finish. What more can I ask for. Excellent customer service! In addition, they take Covid precaution/ infection control seriously. The dental office is very clean, staff frequently changes their gloves especially in between patients, they wear PPE and disinfect after each patient. I have been going to this orthodontist for about 2 years now. flora the ortho tech is aaamazing, she makes me feel comfortable, she always checks on me when i'm in the chair to ensure i am good. she's excellent at the art of teeth straightening and bite correction my teeth have been transformed beyond belief and i still have work to do. i have recommended a few co-workers, friends, and family to Dr. Chen's practice because they're really good and are a full service dentistry. they are also open on saturdays which is truly amazing! go check them out you won't be disappointed! read more

I'm not a fan of going to the dentist (never have been) but I don't mind coming here so much. Dr Chen is great. I never have any discomfort when he gives the numbing shots. He's honest during his assessment and recommendations. I don't feel like he tells me what I need to do just to make a buck like many other dentists. His staff is great. They are all very friendly. I've been coming for quite awhile and I feel that most of his staff have been there for awhile. If it wasn't for his staff, I would never have learned about Care Credit which is a fabulous resource for medical/dental/vision care. Great overall experience. As a new member to the area I was looking for a new dentist. I reached out over the phone and they were able to get me in the same week. Check in was quick and easy, I filled out the forms online so front desk did not have me waiting for more than a couple mins. Maria was my dental hygienist, she did an excellent job letting me know the condition of my teeth and recommendations for areas that needed improvement. For the first appointment it went very quickly with x rays and diagnosis. The cleaning went smoothly, it was much more comfortable than my former dentist. Once Maria finished, I met with Dr Chen and did a quick check and gave his update. He did recommend some areas that requires braces but was not forceful. This will be my new dental office going forward. I am pleased with the overall service. read more

I have been going to Dr. Vincent Chen for many years & other dentists but I have to say he's the best one that I have gone. My kids and I came back to his office because we had a very uncomfortable experience with other dentists. My cleaning at other dentists was very painful where my gums would bleed and in pain. The hygienist did not even give you a heads up that your bleeding etc. Dr. Chen gives the best painless local shots which no other dentist does!!! My daughter got many cavities. She came back to the office for the remaining fillings and discovered more right there. Dr. Chen did not bill me and did not chargene for the co-pay. They just bill our insurance. I recently had my 4 cavities filled & again painless. I mean you didn't even know that he was giving you the shot. His staff really takes care of you and that really make a big difference. Starting with the wonderfully warm Insurance Coordinator Alejandra at the front desk, followed by the professional hygienist Charisma, who definitely lives up to her name. Dr Chen I am done with your office. Do you forget that you are in an office building with like 10 other dentists there?! I walked in to set an appointment for the soonest available time and was given a 5 PM time by the receptionist the following day. I was given a form since I had not been here in a year to bring back the next day. I even rescheduled an appointment with one of my customers to be here by 5 PM. I show up the next day and the door is locked!!!!! You gotta be kidding me. This had happened to me once before when I had scheduled a morning appt and no one was there when I showed up. If you don't want my business fine but don't make me lose out on my business. People don't believe the hype from these other people this place will let you down at some point in time. I have been going to Dr Chen for years; I came to him after having a few bad experiences with Dental offices in the bay area. I have never felt so comfortable in a Dental Chair, Dr Chen is GREAT!! Really professional team, I have to disagree with some of the negative comments; I have always received a reminder message before from Lu (thank you for being on the ball). Suggest: always give the office a heads if your number has changed, just a thought..... I made that mistake... I have had quite a few procedures, which was performed in an Excellent manner, I have never had to go back for readjustments. What impressed me about the place was the State of the Art Equipment, and the all round professional demeanor of the staff, especially Ashley. I have found other dental offices to pushy when it comes spending money on procedures, and it was a relief not to have that practice at Dr Chen's Office, he's a straight talker and very honest. read more

I'm pretty picky when it comes to selecting dental or medical offices. I actually use to work in this building and it's a great location so I thought I would give it a try. I use to be a dental patient of Dr. Mora's which is also in the same building but I switched insurance carriers and he was not contracted with my new carrier. So I called to make an appointment and was schedule for the following week which was great. I was greeted when I entered the office by the receptionist Revi (sp). The office is very modern and the technology is up to date as well. Dr. Chen was amazing. He not only explained exactly what I needed but also did a lot of teaching about dental care etc. I was definitely impressed. I didn't feel pressured at all. I ended up getting a deep cleaning and I'm scheduled for a crown and a regular cleaning as well. Dr. Chen walked me through the entire process and I felt very comfortable. He's also pretty young so I guess we related on that level. I def. recommend Dr. Chen. Very nice office/staff. I will def. continuing seeing Dr. Chen as my dental provider for years to come! I moved to the Hercules area about 3 years ago and found Dr. Chen through one of his mailers I received in the mail. I'm a scary person when it comes to dentists, and I needed my teeth cleaned so I took a chance. Dr. Chen and his staff are great! The office is clean, and he has up to date dental technology. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I had my teeth cleaned, received 2 crowns and will be getting a dental implant very soon. I trust Dr. Chen. He's not pushy, doesn't tell you you need expensive dental work (when you don't) and gives you options. His front desk staff even took the time to go over my dental insurance explaining what was covered and what wasn't. The only reason I'm not giving him 5 stars is because I haven't gotten my implant yet. Stay tuned for an update! Update! - I forgot I said I was going to update my review after my dental implant. I was so worried and scared when the day came! Getting a dental implant is not only expensive (and I have the best dental insurance), but takes about 6 months from beginning to end. Dr. Chen was fantastic! They drill in the gumline and insert the anchor. This anchor (I don't remember what the medical term is) stays in place for about 3-4 months so it can heal around the anchor. After that takes place, they screw in the implant. I had zero problems and everything went according to plan. I am very happy! read more

First, Dr. Chen and his staff are all professional, super friendly, and accommodating. This has been, by far, my best experience in a dental office in years. I knew I would be in good hands from the start. When I called Dr. Chen's office and spoke with Sherry (sp?) who was friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. She helped to ease my anxieties about going to a dental office and was able to get me an appointment quickly (less than 1 week). When i arrived for my appointment, I was greeted (had my temperature taken) and the atmosphere was very calming and clean, the office was also properly practiced covid-19 protocols which further alleviated my concerns. I spent virtually no time in the waiting area before I was taken back. Flora is who worked on my teeth and she was so sweet, gentle, accommodating, and friendly. It was my first time at this office but was made to feel like a regular. I will refer any and everyone to Dr. Chen. This office is legit the stuff dreams are made of. I've been in the process of getting braces so I have had many appointments in a short amount of time but each visit is always great, I don't hate going to the dentist like I use to and it all has the do with the great staff that Dr.Chen has and you can tell he was a great relationship with them too. When you walk in you are greeted by Vanessa who is always so sweet. The dental assistants Yolanda and Jessica are also super sweet. Yolanda is always so informative and does a great job on explaining what's going to be done or answer any questions you have.
