Sitting amongst auto history.

Be entertained with the antiques and great service while keeping your wheels running longer. I'm sitting in a barbers chair while surrounded with 100s of antique signs and kitsch that actually make it refreshingly classy in a retro way. But it's the upbeat attitude and good pricing that'll keep you coming back. The whole team from Kevin to Levi and all really care. They won't let you on the road with a problem and will always be looking out for you. Besides, who else posts more entertaining signs of humor on the marquis around Cincinnnati? NO ONE!!!

Sandra E.

I get my oil change here all the time. The staff is honest, friendly and take pride of their work. I think the pricing is fair considering they do an excellent job! Lastly, the vintage decor is out of this world! I really love the feel of this place. If you are ever in the Newtown area and need an oil change, you have to stop by Village quik lube! I highly recommend their services!

I trust this location with my car. I've been coming to the Mariemont TD for at least the past 5…read moreyears now. Chandler was always great to work with. Super friendly and always willing to try and save you money. He would tell you the truth and got his guys to put in a little extra effort if it could save you money. He always found a way to squeeze you in for a job if you're willing to leave your car. Unfortunately he has moved locations (but very happy for his promotion). However he isn't far down the road so I still plan to visit when I can! Frank is also always friendly and welcoming. You can tell he is a people person and cares about the customers. He is always smiling and seeing his face when you walk in is the best! He recognizes you and is always willing to help! When you have car troubles that is exactly what you need, a friendly welcoming face! Just some of the reasons I love coming here: 1) I took my car to a different TD location (Red Bank) for an alignment and tire rotation. The only reason I came here was I wanted it done sooner than I could get in at Wooster, but big mistake. The guys comes back to tell me they couldn't get one of the nuts for the tires off b/c it was cross threaded by whoever last looked at my car and I would need to replace the whole rod assembly for $400+. I was thinking that's crazy so I went to my guys at the Wooster Pike TD right after and Chandler basically said he'd have his guys work on it and with some heat and time, they should be able to get it off. And no doubt they were able to. It just took a little extra effort and skill which the other location wasn't willing to do. I'm glad that chandler is now at the Red Bank location to help out there. 2) I got a nail in my tire and went to Midas first because they have free patch ups and the TD didn't have any appointments the next few days and I didn't want to drive around on it. Of course it comes with a catch because I'm pretty sure they tell you it can't be repaired because they just don't want to do it. They said it couldn't be repaired based on location even though it was more than an inch inside and on the inside of a thread not on edge etc... So I went back to the TD and had them just take a look at the location to see if it was repairable and they took a look and said it was definitely repairable. Saved $180 for a new tire! And they told me they can squeeze me in if I wanted to leave my car so of course I did because I only wanted to trust them to take care of it. They are always willing to work with my schedule and be honest in how long the wait may be and if it's better to drop the car off etc... I appreciate that so I don't have to waste time in the waiting room if I can come back later. I don't just come to this TD location for convenience but also great service. I am hoping the RedBank one will also become a staple for me as Chandler is there now and hope he turns things around there (as my first few times going weren't the best). I did a quick stop there the other day and of course Chandler helped right away and it was great catching up with him! I trust TD with my car every time.

When I get to the desk the employee said they had to take care of something and left me there. I watched and listened as 3 employees continued to goof off and pretend to fight with each other. When he returned he could not find my reservation. He then told me after finding it that no one on site knew how to change oil that day. When we tried to get the tires rotated he informed us that they were too backed up to get that today. The whole time I watched employees over his shoulder talk and goof off. We left upset and wishing they had called to tell us they coudln't do any the services we noted we needed in our appointment.

As a woman, it is hard to find a good honest mechanic who isn't going to rip you off or talk down…read moreto you. I found a great mechanic and a HONEST ONE!! I own a BMW Z-4 and did my research. If I took it to the dealership to have them perform the Diagnostics Scan Codes it would have cost $140.00 and it would have been there all day, but I would have gotten a rental car. When I asked Jeff how long it would take him he said an hour or less and I asked why the difference between him and the dealership and he explained it to me and also said that the scan itself would only take an hour at the dealership as well. I saved myself $ 50.00 and pulled a chair outside his shop, enjoyed the breeze and in no time at all the work was done!! Yes, he (Jeff) reset the Code and I was Happy!! They were quite far for me to drive to, but I went to them after reading the reviews and browsing their website. I brought my 1981 Mercury Cougar XR7 for some cosmetics. I was nervous a bit to be honest cause I know some mechanics can be "rough" on treatment (like leave a scratch or dirty the interior, etc. When I arrived, comfort wasn't immediate, but as soon as I discussed with them as to what I needed done to the vehicle, I knew it was going to be in good hands. When I picked up my vehicle, I was a very happy customer. Am coming back to have them do some more stuff. Thank you!

The national chain had quoted a $200 labor charge and plus a hefty part charge. As my husband and I like to spend local if we can, we decided to try Arnold and Son to see if it would be similar. I stopped in informally for an estimate on my own. They took the time to explain (in terms I understood) the possible causes and quote an estimate for each cause. They wouldn't know for sure the extent until they had the tires off and could get to the brake. As the estimates for each cause where very fair, we brought the car in today. It ended up being a minor adjustment and a very low price (small percentage of the national store estimate). In addition to performing the repair, they rotated our tires for free. They just said "we had them off anyways, so why not." It was just refreshing to be pleasantly surprised at the mechanic and 100% feel you were treated honestly. Would highly recommend.

That was after the $75 off coupon I had. Said they drove it 20 miles and it was fixed. Within 30 days after the repair, I started smelling and seeing the burning oil again. I called to let them know and they told me to bring it back so they can look at it again. It wasn't terrible and I never had oil under my truck when parked. I did not take it back. Instead after a few months I took it to another independent auto care. They diagnosed the problem as a torn valve cover gasket and stated there were several bolts loose and one the was striped. They recommended I take it back to Parkway but I had this other auto care take care of it as I had lost faith in Parkway Automotive. The other auto care replaced the valve cover and vacuum seal. That cost was $785,11. Over $1,000 difference in price and more work done. It's unfortunate that they overcharged me so much and did such a poor job in the repair. I will never do business with them again and expect if they overcharged others and do poor repairs, they will lose a lot of business to other auto care businesses. Very disappointed and they should be ashamed.

We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up.
