I started buying my tires from Chip on Wooster Pike in the early 90's and have purchased all my tires from Tire Discounters since then with great service and value. I needed tires on both of my vehicles and saw their add for free oil change and $100 rebate if you use their credit card. I asked if I bought two sets of tires would I be eligible for $200 rebate and they told me yes. I asked that the oil change be done along with the new tires. When I picked up the vehicles they told me that they do not do the oil changes then and I would have to come back to have that done. I then asked for the form to get the rebate. I was told that they do not have them and I could only get the rebate online. I went on vacation with my new tires and when I came back and went online, it said that I was too late to get the rebate. I was never told that the deadline was 4 days after I purchased the tires. I then received the bill from the credit card company and discovered that the interest rate was 33% and it you were late on a payment it would jump to almost 40%. You would be better off getting a loan from a loan shark. I called HQ and was told they would open an inquiry. A few days later I got a call from Dave and explained what happened. He said that I would have to deal with the credit card company which was not related to them . I told him I already called and they said I missed the 4 day deadline. He said he would talk to the store manager and get back to me. A few hours later he said they would give me two free oil changes instead of $75. I told him I already had two free oil changes and that the rebates were for $200. He said he would get right back to me. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM DAVE read more

Back on 12/04/2024, I took my 2013 Ford Fusion to the Tire Discounters on Wooster Pike which is Columbia Parkway in Cincinnati, OH. They had a special going on for a new set of 4 tires including an oil change in the price of the new tires, I needed new tires for my car so I went ahead and tried them out. I had no complaints with the service provided or the time my car was at the Tire Discounters. But unfortunately here is where things changed for me. The Tire Discounters called me after the tires were put on my car that they couldn't do the tire alignment that was included with the service because they said the suspension on my front axle needed work on it. I asked how much it would cost and they said a few thousand dollars and before I ever do this kind of repair I get a second opinion from my Stepdad since he knows cars and fixes them for other people. My Stepdad then checks out my car and notices that I don't need the suspension work on my front axle done on my car and that the Tire Discounters wasn't 100% truthful with me. So now I have to consider spending a few 100 dollars elsewhere because Tire Discounters tried to pull a fast one on me and get more money from me for a service my car didn't require. Moral of the story is always know someone who can look at your car before places like this try to take advantage of your ignorance. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but when auto body places lean towards fudging the truth about what repairs I need on my car, that is where I draw the line. Thank you for changing my tires and giving me a proper oil change, but don't lie to me to squeeze money from my pockets. read more

I trust this location with my car. I've been coming to the Mariemont TD for at least the past 5 years now. Chandler was always great to work with. Super friendly and always willing to try and save you money. He would tell you the truth and got his guys to put in a little extra effort if it could save you money. He always found a way to squeeze you in for a job if you're willing to leave your car. Unfortunately he has moved locations (but very happy for his promotion). However he isn't far down the road so I still plan to visit when I can! Frank is also always friendly and welcoming. You can tell he is a people person and cares about the customers. He is always smiling and seeing his face when you walk in is the best! He recognizes you and is always willing to help! When you have car troubles that is exactly what you need, a friendly welcoming face! Just some of the reasons I love coming here: 1) I took my car to a different TD location (Red Bank) for an alignment and tire rotation. The only reason I came here was I wanted it done sooner than I could get in at Wooster, but big mistake. The guys comes back to tell me they couldn't get one of the nuts for the tires off b/c it was cross threaded by whoever last looked at my car and I would need to replace the whole rod assembly for $400+. I was thinking that's crazy so I went to my guys at the Wooster Pike TD right after and Chandler basically said he'd have his guys work on it and with some heat and time, they should be able to get it off. And no doubt they were able to. It just took a little extra effort and skill which the other location wasn't willing to do. I'm glad that chandler is now at the Red Bank location to help out there. 2) I got a nail in my tire and went to Midas first because they have free patch ups and the TD didn't have any appointments the next few days and I didn't want to drive around on it. Of course it comes with a catch because I'm pretty sure they tell you it can't be repaired because they just don't want to do it. They said it couldn't be repaired based on location even though it was more than an inch inside and on the inside of a thread not on edge etc... So I went back to the TD and had them just take a look at the location to see if it was repairable and they took a look and said it was definitely repairable. Saved $180 for a new tire! And they told me they can squeeze me in if I wanted to leave my car so of course I did because I only wanted to trust them to take care of it. They are always willing to work with my schedule and be honest in how long the wait may be and if it's better to drop the car off etc... I appreciate that so I don't have to waste time in the waiting room if I can come back later. I don't just come to this TD location for convenience but also great service. I am hoping the RedBank one will also become a staple for me as Chandler is there now and hope he turns things around there (as my first few times going weren't the best). I did a quick stop there the other day and of course Chandler helped right away and it was great catching up with him! I trust TD with my car every time. read more

Ill absolutely be back to this location after my first time in today for help with my broken trunk latch. The closest dealership couldn't get me in for a few days to replace the recalled part that had my trunk wide open. I needed help to find a spot to attach a cord for a temporary fix so I could get to work in the mean time. Frank went above and beyond checking the latch, ensuring my brake lights weren't impacted, looping shorter cords through to secure it as tightly as possible and being a warm friendly professional through this task. How incredibly kind of him to take this time and effort when I'm sure he had a full day before I popped in to ask for help. Mariemont Tire Discounters has gained a customer through this excellent selfless example today. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. read more

This is my 1st review I have ever posted. I dont want to see anyone else get taken advantage of by this company. I wouldn't even give them 1 star......What a terrible company. The customer service at the Fields Ertel store is awful. Bought 4 tires that were part of a rebate. They sold me 4 tires that were NOT part of the rebate and now they will not give me the rebate $ that I should have rec.ed directly from the manufacturer. I strongly encourage you NOT buy from this company. Take your business to a more reputable tire store. read more

Had my 20K mile rotate and balance done. All good. Got the tires balanced perfectly and fixed a bead leak in one of the tires.

We purchased 4 new tires on 5/10/2023 they were sold to us and are to thick and have not even been mounted, installed or aligned on our car, they are in the back of our truck and have not even been driven on. We asked to return for thinner tires after already paying right under a 1000 dollars and was told no by Scott Lawson. This is not okay and I do not see anywhere why this would be denied. I would like this resolved asap and thinner tires or I will proceed with further action on my side. It is not ok to take advantage of people and it was a lot of money for tires we can't safely use and we are being denied to get 4 thinner tires. I walked into this location and asked about getting a pair of tires, today. I did not have an appointment. I waited while the associate helped another customer. When I approached he barely looked at me. He then told me to 'come on' and motioned me to the counter. I explained my needs and he told me the wait time. He then basically shamed me for coming in on a Saturday, including telling me how he doing me a favor by fitting me in...The thing was, I had never even gotten a chance to respond and he'd launching into what an imposition it is to squeeze me in and how I've waited until Saturday, etc... I felt stupid and kind of confused- why would so rude? In front of other customers? I never even complained! Never got to respond! I think it has to be tough to juggle walk ins and run the shop but I also think it's important to remember to be kind. Buying tires is expensive and nerve wracking for me as is. In the end, I left the shop and went down the road to a smaller shop without the name discount in the same. I might not have saved as much money but my discount was that I saved myself from feeling embarrassed like the man at the Wooster tire discounters made me feel. I am glad I chose the shop I did bc the owner was kind, personal and patient as I asked questions. Hopefully my tire discounters experience was a rare one and others don't feel met with the same disregard. read more

I brought my car here for my first oil change since moving to Cincinnati and after trying to figure out who would offer the best deal/most services. This place seems to do it all and they performed well after trying it out. Of note was employee Colin who helped me out after I had to return. I got a call after dropping my car off and they very kindly explained my tires needed to be changed. It sounded like a fair price and a lot of money later it was done. So far everything has been amazing other than needing to return for a re-balance/rotation. Colin was very kind and entertained my concerns for the day I came back. Eventually I did have to schedule for a rotation/re-balancing after the oil and tire change. When this happened I was greeted by a very awesome employee named James. Both him and Colin seemed to understand the niceties of little things like a warm welcome especially early in the morning. This place has great employees and customer service and they gave me a great deal with several discounts. I ended up getting roped into their extended tire services as this seemed like another great deal/protection to have at all times. read more

Do yourself a favor and go here whenever you need tires or service. They have done a brake job and tires on my Lincoln MKX. I felt so confident with their service and professional approach, that I brought my Lexus SC430 here. In addition to the set of Yokohama tires they sold me, I had them replace my front brakes. All is spot on! I asked them about replacing a leaking valve gasket on the Lexus and they did this as well for less than half the dealer quote. What's not to like? Thanks guys. i bought tires here a few times and had tires repaired here many times. As for the tire purchasing experience, I feel like they rate 4 stars. Usually one of the best deals you can find in the city for good tires and they can turn everything around quickly even if they don't have the tires on site because they are close to the warehouse. They have good service/warranty deals too if you want lifetime alignment etc. I always get the road hazard coverage too, it has paid for itself with the number of nails/rocks/crap we seem to drive over on a regular basis. They will repair the tire with no questions and with no cost if you get that. It just always takes forever... I feel like they really do not prioritize this service and only will work on your tire repair if there is no "new tire sale" work to do. It took 2 days to get mine fixed. After my 3rd attempt to pickup my tire, they finally said they would do it right away and it still took 45 minutes. So overall, good prices and service if you are buying new tires, but don't be in a hurry if you want to get a repair done... read more

I had an 10am appointment at Tire Discounters in Springboro, Ohio. I got there early. My van did not get looked at until around 11:05 am. While I was waiting I was people without appointments come and go. My service was free because of warranty. This is not the first time this has happen to me, they take the paying customer first. I had an appointment and my time is important. This is not a good business. I have been a customer here for 25 years. I feel that I was treated like a second class citizen. Been going to tire disconters for years and the last 3 times have all been bad. Managements lack of knowledge and communication is a big part why I wont being going back to tire disconters. Here's an example I go to get new battery from there and when the mechanic hooked the new one up the check engine light came on and went into limp mode. The mechanic tried to find the problem but couldn't figure it out. So I go home pop the hood and looked at fuses sure enough they bloew the ecu fuse and didnt bother checking to see if that was the problem. Management needs more training and better communication read more

i got bad service at one TD. they said to come back in and it was a little better, but not by much. he said they didn't like taking spares off the vehicles where they're on chains because they broke one the other day and had to replace it. cost them over 200. my spare is on a chain. i had the spare on the vehicle and he asked which one. you know, the one with the black rim and no hubcap. i told him i just want air and forget it. he said, no, i'll switch it over. told me he didn't know how to turn off the dash light. said one of my tools was missing from my kit. well, it wasn't. it was there. they were going to sell me a comparable tire for 139, but not the same brand. i came in thinking i'm going to buy it and then, after all this drama, i decided no. i just want air and i want my vehicle back. they don't match online prices. their price for the brand tire was 282. online was 191 and they wouldn't honor that. i called around and found the same brand tire for 124. it was a "take off" from another customer vehicle and it's a GOOD tire, like new. you're paying too much there. could be i am a woman. idk. i wouldn't bother with them. my "take off" is guaranteed. they washed and waxed my vehicle for me also. you're overpaying. i am not coming back into that store again. and tires are made BETTER these days. you said they're not made as well as the old days. not true. tires you buy online are old and dry rotted. bull. so i need to buy from TD. your tires are fresh. i'm done with TD. read more

I walked out to my car during lunch hour to see that one of my tires had gone flat. Thinking I just needed to get it plugged or patched, I searched online and found Tire Discounters. Finishing out my workday, I arrived one hour prior to closing. John, the manager, found that a nail had punctured both the tread, and the sidewall. The tire was irreparable. He searched every available option, including their used rack, discussed all my choices, and in the end, got me back on the road before closing time. I have a new tire, everything is balanced. John was thorough and courteous. When the budget allows, I'll see John for my next new set of tires, without fail. read more

I had a industrial Staple that lodged itself into my back tire. I was able to drop off my car. I was told my tire could not be fixed with a patch but would need a whole new tire because it was too large of a hole. Brandon Strauss not only gave me a used tire for free, but didn't charge me anything for the visit! I want to thank them for their friendly front desk staff and amazing customer service.
