My son picked up his car last night and while driving the car the high temperature light came on and the same light was on today when he drove to work . He started to drive home from work and the light was still on and defroster was not working so he was not able to drive the car safely as it was raining. He moved the temperature from a/c to heat and it was blowing out cold air, so cold that he could see his breath. Now we had to have it towed to another shop as I would NEVER go back or recommend this PepBoys. When I called to let the shop manager know he lied to me and said that they just put Freon in the a/c but when I told him that the auto shop that had the part that Pep Boys needed to repair the a/c the shop manager then started to tell me that "well the only piece we put". That was enough for me to hear as he just admitted unknowingly that he lied to me. I hung up the phone because he was not going to admit the fact that they screwed up my son's a/c electrical system. They had his car from Saturday early afternoon and if they were just putting Freon on why have it until after 5pm on Monday? I was also told on Saturday when I called that they were trying to find the leak in the a/c so yeah guy get your lies straight !!!

There seemed to be a slow leak in one of our tires over the last month. Just as we were finishing, the valve stem on our tire broke. (Not the air machine's falt.) Luckily the service station was open. They got us in and out in about 30 minutes. My husband called where we originally purchased the tires. Their price to replace the part would have been about $5 less. The $5 was not worth the hassle of having the car towed, then waiting for it to be fixed. If they could fix it right away. The whole transaction was quick and easy. Inside is a waiting area with a t.v. and complimentary coffee. There is also a restroom near the the waiting area. Along with the free air, there are also two electric car charging stations. I am not sure if there is a fee for charging.

Later the next week I called this location for a quote and they said they'd have to order the particular tire I needed and gave me some competitors to call to see if they had my tire in stock. I thought that was pretty nice of them, but when I called the other businesses they sure did have my tire, but they gave me quotes that were $300-$500 more! I called this location back, they ordered my tire, and my car was good to go the very next day. They did end up charging more than three original quote, but not much more and they gave a transparent explanation as to why the price changed, so I was fine with it. If you're in need of vehicle services I'd say this location is a good choice!
