I wanted to tell people about tri state breaks and muffler. I dropped my car off 2/9/2026 and they did nothing to it for 4 weeks, saying they were waiting on parts, which autozone, advance, O'Reillys had in stock, I could have flown to china apply for a job, get it, make the part I need and fly back. Mind you I called once a week just to check on my car and every week they said waiting on parts. On 3/4/2026, I went down there asked for my car, the guy behind the counter either hates his job or hates life or just straight racist, cause every thing i said to him annoyed him to the point he wouldn't even look away from the computer. , he says the parts are in and your cars next. He said it will be done Friday, Monday at the latest, On 3/5/2026 they move it from the front line of cars to the back of the building and it's been there with no work done at all. They refuse to work on my car, I have friends checking on my car for me and they see other cars come and go but mine ........ nothing. So I checked their reviews they have good reviews........ (mostly) but my personal experience it is the worst place. read more

Came here for a muffler and resonator delete, they got me in right away. Took about an hour overall and I'm very impressed. Sounds great, welds are solid and the staff was friendly. Will be returning if I need future work done. read more

Read a few good reviews here for "Tri-State Muffler", so, thought I might offer them my business too, and maybe be a regular customer as well. Just goes to show, you can't trust reviews. Maybe these "reviewers" are his buddies down at the local beer joint. Or his dysfunctional family. Anyway... Called "Tri-State" about getting an estimate for service. Guy answers the phone with a grunt (or something), then I wonder if I have the right number, or maybe they are out of business. So I ask, "Is this Tri-State Muffler?" This time, he blurts out a one-syllable retort, which could have been a "yes", or a "no". He sounds distant, and like he's inside a tin can. At this point, I have no choice but to tell him his faint blurps and grunts are telling me nothing. I loudly say AGAIN, "Is this "Tri-State Muffler?" Finally, he wakes up, speaks up, and I hear him say "Yes". I explain what I want done, and he says he will check on it and call me back. I give him my number. He never calls back. At least, a day and a half later he still hasn't. But that's ok. I don't want a retarded ape working on my car. read more

Needed a catalytic converter on my 2011 Camry. Called several places and decided on Tri-State due to price as they were much lower than others. The communication was outstanding. Super friendly and honest. They did a great job! Will be using them for other repairs later this year. read more

I called and got an appointment right away with no problem. Bob took car of the holes in my exhaust pipe, replaced a hanger and small pipe. It was done extremely fast and was fairly cheap with great customer service...I am glad a friend recommended this place and will return, if needed again! read more

So my 2003 car's exhaust starts making noise. First shop's estimate: replace a big section for $650 (1 hour labor). Second shop's estimate: replace a big section for $600 (1 hour labor) or put on a band-aid for $220 (2 hours labor). Then I go to Tri-State Muffler: Your band-aid will cost $145, and we can have it ready in about a half-hour if you want. They also have decorative chrome end pipes and do custom work. (Neatly drawn poster for car show tacked up on the counter.) But if you just need to keep the car going for now, these guys do welding all day and can knock it out quickly. Definitely if/when I do replace that big section, I'm coming back here first. read more

I'm very happy with my first visit here. I had a flex pipe start to leak on my Passat and they fixed it at a reasonable cost and fixed it very quickly. Most places I called were much higher in price. I'm glad I finally found a good exhaust shop in the area. I Will certainly choose them in the future. read more

Went here for brakes and rotors. They told me there is a year warranty on pads and lifetime on rotors. Before a year was up my brakes started making a grinding noise and that scraping noise it makes from brake pad warning tab. I took it in to them and they told me there was still 3/4 of pad left. I took my van elsewhere and it in fact needed pads. read more
