An affordable mechanic? No way! Yup- it is true, I found the perfect auto shop for my baby- my Jeep!!! I stumbled upon SGA through a friend. I popped into the office in hopes of scheduling a future oil change and was pleasantly surprised when Carlos, the manager, said he could take care of my girl right away. This was awesome news because I have neglected my girl and her oil change was long over due. Within minutes my car was on the rack. I relaxed in their office area- which looks NOTHING like the drab, greasy, cluttered, and dirty customer waiting area you expect to find at the mechanics. This place is very retro with an old school record player (and an awesome selection of vinyls), amazing photo prints line the walls (compliments of Carlos's brother- the photographer) and the environment is so clean and welcoming. I talked with the employees long after my Jeep was finished (which only took 20 minutes.) These guys are so warm & friendly you just want to hang out all day and have coffee & conversation! They also offer a very cut-to-the-chase rewards card... Every $1.00 you spend on their services, you get .05 cents back on your rewards card. I estimate if I bring my Jeep here for regular oil changes than I'll accumulate enough rewards to use towards a free oil change... Who doesn't love free??? I HIGHLY recommend you pay these folks a visit!

He was at our spot with a tow truck in about 30 mins and called us an hour or so later to inform me of what was wrong. He laid out the options. Was very transparent and gave us a rough timeline. While he had the car he sent updates on when he ordered parts, when they arrived at the shop and how far along he was with the work. This was critical for me as I had to drive back to Chicago in a rental and needed to coordinate when I'd make the drive back to Cincy to pick up my car. The car is like new. I felt a little nervous driving it back right after getting the work done but it performed great on the road and I made it back to Chicago with no issues. I wish he was based in Chicago so I could take the car to him with any future issues. Hopefully we never get stranded in Cincy again, but if we do I find some peace in knowing we have someone great to take it to.

The owner was incredibly responsive, even on a Sunday. I needed an appointment ASAP, and he worked me into his already busy Monday, keeping me updated while he was out on a towing job.He patched my tire in under 10 minutes and charged me well below typical prices. I've officially found my go‑to "car guy." Excellent communication, honest work, reliable service, and very affordable pricing. Highly recommend!

Oil change -- $156.16 They couldn't diagnose the convertible top noise, and recommended taking it to the dealership. -- N/C Drivers door proximity sensor PARTS $324.49 The door sensor was ordered and we scheduled another time to bring it in. The service advisor, Robby, had a few recommendations that he called me about before my next appointment. Transmission fluid, brake fluid, spark plugs, and crankcase vent valve. Robby told me he only recommended the trans fluid and spark plugs. The other fluids were recommendations and could wait. I agreed. On my second visit they were supposed to install the sun visor, install the door sensor, replace the spark plugs, and service the transmission. I dropped my car off at 7:30am. At 5pm when I went to pick my car up, it wasn't ready. At first it was "sorry" come back tomorrow. Then they offered me a loaner. But I was in a push for time, so I declined and told them I would return the next day. I have an alarm system on my car. It alerted me it had been started and shut off at around 8PM that night. I could only assume the technician was working late on it. So I stopped by around 2PM the next day and gave the technician $200 as a tip to show my appreciation for his extra help. When I picked the car up I signed a paper, paid with my card, and got my keys and left. After I left I looked at the receipt. I thought the price was higher than quoted, and it was... by $700+. They did the brake fluid and crankcase vent valve without my approval. I called and asked what the issue was and was told they would check their phone logs and get back to me because they record the phone calls. 2 weeks later and no response. So I text them and get told I approved the repairs AFTER they were done when I signed the receipt. That signature, according to them, is proof that I approved the repairs. NO! That's proof that I paid for the repairs. I wanted to find a place to get my Audi repaired and maintained and love supporting small shops. I wanted to give them a chance to make me a happy customer. Instead I get told "I am having a hard time understanding how this would be any different than going to a pizza place, ordering a 3 topping pizza, paying for it, signing the receipt, eating it, and then returning saying you actually only wanted one topping."

I purchased a demo 2017 Mercedes with very few miles on it from Dana Motors (same owner, but now called Mercedes of Cincinnati). This year, 2025, it only has 31k miles on the original tires and car, but I am taking a 2k mile trip and because I am familar with the composition of rubber, I consulted Tire Discounters, a regional dealership as to the possibility of these 7 year old tires having a blow-out at 80-85 on an express hwy. Of course, TD is in the business of selling tires, but gone TD for years and trust and value their opinion. TD provided the advise I was expecting, so I purchase 4 new tires. The unexpected news was that the Mercedes had "locks" on the tire lugs and NO key. Apparently, Dana Motors and not supplied the key lock kit when I purchased the car, so next step was to visit the car delership which was a complete waste of time. It took about 2 hours there to determine Dana did not have the key to the locks on my car. The only advice they provided was the name of a local locksmith who could drill-out the locked lugs. I returned to TD to ask for advice. The manage there, told me that was the last thing I should do becase locksmith could damage the car rims. Finally, an independt mecanic who I a have known for yeas suggest I try Precision which has specialize in Mercedes for decades. Problem solved!! Ina who seems to be the manager came up with the proper "key" within several minutes. Consequently, I will be using Precision going forward.
