If you drive on Cincinnati roads, you're gonna need a good tire shop. We've been customers for 20+ years. This team is comprised of people who have been with them for as long as we've been customers. They've been honest, kind, timely and respectful of my needs and budget. Yesterday, I took my car in for a leaky tire. When I was in for a similar need in July, they told me my tires were probably about ready for replacement. The service manager showed me how to check the age and wear on a tire. Yep. It was time. He helped me find the right tires for my car and had me back on the road asap. Even though I got there late in the day, the team stayed past closing to make sure I had safe tires on my car. Before our weather turns terrible, it's good to know I'm on safe tires. I really appreciated the extra effort to make sure I'm gtg for the next 65k miles. read more

I've been buying tires from Major Tire for 30 plus years. I bought a new set of tires less than a year ago. Driver side front tire would not hold air. Took it in for a tire repair. They discovered a plug in the tire? How did a plug get into a new set of tires? Were they new? Sold me a used set of tires, maybe? When I questioned how a plug got in there, the Hispanic cashier called the Hispanic mechanic into the office to explain. They spoke Spanish while explaining. I kindly asked them speak English so I may understand. They both just looked at me and continued speaking in Spanish. I don't think the mechanic spoke English. That's when the manager stepped in. She blamed the plug on Busam Subaru since they recently rotated my tires! Total bullshit! I told the manager I'd been buying tires there for over 30 years. She actually stated that she knew because she looked up my sales history. She didn't care! So much for supporting small businesses! Costco and Sam's for me! $35 later I let them know I'll never return. If I could give them negative stars I would! read more

I have bought tires in the past and been really pleased with the price and the installation. On a weekend, my son had a flat on his car. There two nails, one in the sidewall making the tire unrepairable. They called around to find an exact replacement and got us back on the road with a loaner until it came in the following Monday. As a commercial business owner. They don't have road hazards for tires. Thinking when l bought tires would have coverage. . Had them for 2weeks, Had issue, then was told when l went didn't offer it and had to pay additional $35 fir repair. Horrible customer service. read more

I've never actually gotten a tire here, as they're closed on Sundays, when I seem to need them. But from researching before the fact, they had all sorts of kinds from new to old, to rubber, to alloy to nitrogen etc. And the prices were decent or rather comparable, not super stellar cheap, but good. The one thing thats awesome? They have free air. At least when they're open. I hate nothing more than going to a gas station to find change to put in a machine that only gives me enough time to barely get 3 tires done, even when i checked the pressure and unscrewed all the caps prior to putting money in, causing me to find more change, or have to go inside. Screw that. Stop here. One of the guys was even nice enough to offer me help, but I declined, mainly becuase my tires were dangerously low and i didn't want a lecture like my dad would give me. So there you have it. And I guess they have gas now too, for cash, at decent prices, again only when they're open. read more

I had a nail in one of my tires. I took it to the dealer to have it checked out (and for a free oil change). Not surprisingly, the dealer said they couldn't fix it - and wanted to sell me a new tire. I brought my car to Major Tire and they fixed the tire for $29.99. The patch has lasted about three months without any problem at all, and I don't expect any issues moving forward. My wife and I now go to Major Tire for oil changes and other service needs. Everyone who works there is nice, knowledgable and friendly, their prices are fair and the service is fast. read more

I moved to Cincinnati in September of 2014. I immediately found this business when I needed a used tire for my late model car. I have used them several times since then for various reasons. They are very reasonable in price, and extremely friendly. The facility is big enough to work on several vehicles at once, and both used tires that I purchased were put on within minutes upon walk-in. I recently had an alignment done on my family vehicle, which included a control arm and two new tires. The price was better than I expected, and the team kept me posted about the work and price via phone calls.The shop looks like it has been there for a long time. To translate that, it looks a little aged, but that instills confidence for me that this business has stood the test of time. I will be returning to Major Tire to have more work done on that late model car, and for any other front end needs that arise! Great job guys! read more
