Everyone was complaining major under quoted on time Went to shop at 3pm needing a tire change and was told I'll be able to make it to my 5pm appointment...didn't leave shop until 5:30pm. Very poor customer service. Person checking in customers had bad attitude and no compassion or communication with his customers he over promised so most were upset. I paid, he handed me the keys and I left since I was so late already. Apparently he needed me to sign something but never said so?! I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. Dropped off my car to have my back tires looked at. I got a call three hours later asking where my "wheel lock" was for my car. I wasn't sure what this was so I looked it up online and asked them to look in both the trunk and the glove compartment. They proceeded to say we already looked very hard to find it. You need to buy one. Not only did I have to drive 30 minutes to the dealship to get one, when I personally looked in the glove compartment, it was sitting right there. Do not use. They will steal from you. My AirPods were sitting in my center counsel when the car was dropped off and gone when I picked the car up. The car had been literally nowhere else and I notice them missing the minute I got into the drivers seat. The manager claims to have reviewed the camera footage but it "cannot zoom" and claims they didn't see anyone take them. Of course not, they're small and were taken while inside the car. To make it worse, they refuse to admit this could have happened at their store and were incredibly rude to my husband on the phone. As these are an older generation, "find my" is not working. We never once asked for money. We simply wanted the AirPods back or at least a simple acknowledgement that this happened. Instead it was snide remarks and gaslighting. 2 years ago I drove to change tires I the drove in had a hole. The owner gaslighted me instead of changing the tire and rim to the one I had in my trunk. Told me I needed to purchase their new tire. For $120.00 not including labor cost. When my mom suggested a patch they not only refused that service. They tried to take the good tire and Rim I came in with. I take my car in because my front passenger tire is losing air. This is what I tell the guy when I go in. He says he doesn't think they'll be able to get to it today because the other guy went home. I said I had been called that morning and as long as I got there before 6:30pm, the guy on the phone said it would be done today. We ended up sitting in the lobby waiting for a while because we thought it would be done that day and didn't bring a second car to drive home. About an hour later, the guy tells us they have an open spot and are going to look at my tire. They "fix" it and the guy said he found a nail in my tire and patched it. We pay for it and leave. Not even a WEEK later, we're walking to my car and notice the tire is COMPLETELY FLAT. Literally barely any air is left in it. We have to get it towed back to this Tire Discounters because it's not drivable. It's after hours by the time the tow truck gets it there so I get a call the next morning from Tire Discounters. I need a new tire. "Actually you need new tires all around." I asked why and he said "you just need new tires". Then I said "well I was there not even a week ago and your policy says that any tire patches will be applied to a tire purchase within 30 days, so I would like that tire patch to go towards this purchase." He said "I can't do that because it's in your sidewall now so you must've picked up another nail". You're telling me, A PERSON WHO RARELY DRIVES HER CAR, that within a few DAYS of getting a tire patch, I picked up another nail?? Your guys didn't just half ass the job?? Went i n to get a tire plugged, said they can't due to it's age (6 yo) and immediately tried to sell me 4 new tires. When I said I to the wife I knew someone that can plug it to buy some time, the look on his face was total disappoint and immediately wanted to let me know they finance. Weekend was over and took it to my mechanic and though he agreed it's getting around time to replace the tires looked good enough to get by before winter. Can't recommend this business in good faith. The staff seems kind and courteous, but the service is abysmal. I happen to work at a shop similar to this one, and I can tell you it does not take three hours to change a tire - no matter how 'busy' you are. Management would do well to schedule better. Have a few team members do tire changes and rotations, and a few others for service - it's not rocket science. The cost is unreasonable ($280 for one tire and change) and the service is poor. Big O Tires (at least in Louisville), would have had this finished in an hour TOPS and got the same tire for $89. Big swing an a miss here, but I'm stranded.. Their work and products are fine but the way they manage their business needs to be fixed. And they should set customers expectations differently. I made an appointment online and a representative called me to set the date up and also get more details on what kind of tires I wanted. I mentioned pricing and my budget. I felt like she didn't pressure me into anything I didn't want to get. So instead, I mentioned I would go in the store and shop around. So that way I have a better understanding instead of jumping in and buying right away. I scheduled it on a Saturday morning. Walked in and was impressed with the lobby. Super clean and our representative was very friendly, detailed and didn't feel pressured. I needed all seasoned tires, since the winter was coming. I wanted to be safe. There were two types of tires and I opted for the Michelin. 70,000 mile warranty, repair flats and free tire alignment and rotation at any Tire Discounter location. It was a bit pricey but I feel a huge difference on how smooth my car was running. They did a great job. Dropped my car off and it was ready in 3 hours. I highly recommend this place. I recently ran over a screw and needed a patch job on my tire. Surprisingly had a pretty great experience for something so simple and felt the need to share. I wish I remembered the name of the employee, I believe it was Mike. I called in to see if they could get my tire in for a patch, without hesitation he told me to come on in. I was pretty happy right there because I called a few other places and they acted as if I needed an appointment for this small issue and that I would need to leave my truck for a while. I arrived and he took care of me right away, I could tell he was pretty knowledgeable so I asked a few other car-related questions. He provided a lot of detail with every question I asked, and I was just some dude waiting on a $30 repair on my tire. I sat in the waiting room for not long at all, and they were definitely busy but took care of me very quickly. Before going in I checked the pressure on my tires and they were all kind of low so I was going to ask to have them filled up but forgot to. As I was driving away I checked the pressure just to look and was pleasantly surprised to see all 4 tires at perfect PSI. I have had some not so-great experiences with mechanics. I know this tire patch isn't a big deal at all but after talking with Mike (?) I got a good feeling that they aren't like the rest. They have a pretty great deal on oil changes with free tire rotation, which is one of the questions I had asked him. Last week was the first time I had work performed on my 2012 Cadillac SRX other then tires at Tire Discounters. After diagnosing my vehicle for replacing the master cylinder and an issue with it idling ruff/stalling Mike determined that it would need the mass flow sensor replaced to remedy the problem. I returned later that day for the car and while driving it home it was having the same issue. I called Mike and was told to come back Monday so he could have a technician check it again. This time I was told the issue I was experiencing would be corrected by a flash update of the onboard computer at the Cadillac dealer. To make a long story longer the problem was a $13.00 PCV tubing with a leak and not the software update. In my opinion the techs are fine for tires, brakes and alignments, but anything beyond that they are in over their heads. I may be back for tire rotation but never anything else. I brought my vehicle in because of what I thought was a slow leak in my passenger rear tire. As they had my car, they told me that my front driver side tire had low treading. So what should have been $195 to replace my passenger rear ended up being $426 for TWO tires. The very next day my passenger rear continued to leak. My tire pressure was at 21psi. I took the vehicle back in, the individual who I spoke to, did not appear to take my concern seriously. Or even apologize for the inconvenience and safety issue regarding my vehicle that was supposed to be addressed but wasn't. It appeared as though it was some sort of bother for them. I wasn't able to get my vehicle in that day. I decided to go to a different location, and they found in 10 minutes that my passenger rear rim is bent and has to be replaced. Another $418 spent for something that should have been addressed when my vehicle was initially taken in. They were so concerned about getting more money out of me, that they completely neglected to address the actual issue with my vehicle. I have been an almost decade long Tire Discounter customer and I've had multiple little issues with their employees demeanor and attitudes, but this is the final straw for me. I wouldn't recommend them at all. You're risking experiencing negligence like how I did. read more

I called the Tire Discounter on the corner of Marburg and Alamo early this morning 4/15/2024, and told them I needed a new valve stem on the driver side rear because when we were out of town the tire developed a slow leak so we put fix-a-flat in the tire to make it hom as it was a Sunday evening and everything was closed. The manager(?) said fine have them drop it off, when I called to check on my vehicle he said I needed a new tire @254.00 [lus be cause the flat had been driven on, the tow truck driver drove the Denaki less than 5 feet and the tire DID NOT come off the rim, the manager also said that I needed a new tire because the tire had chemical in it and COULD NOT BE RE-INFLATED OR RE-USED! I ormer certified mechanicand sold car for almost 30 yrs! I called them around 12:30 and the young man who answered the phone said the Denali would be done around 1:15, when my wife and I got there at about 4:15 they HADN'T EVEN BROUGHT IT INSIDE,RUFUS SAID HE FORGOT TO BRING IT IN! Another hr went by and finally brought it inside and still tried to sell me a tire when I knew all I needed was a new stem, them they tried to sell me a $95.00 stem, I told him jst put a rubber stem on the truck so I could get out of the hell hole of a place withe unbelievably rude managers! RUFUS one3 of the managers said that it be $42/00 becayse his worler sealed the rim, which I dide not tell him to do! Then the other manager said very loudly "get your keys and get out of here" all of this after nearly five hrs of waithing around for a valve stem replacement, to be treated like this because I would not let tire discounters(?) rip me off! Went Tuesday afternoon for an oil change, but was told it will be at least three hours before my car would even be looked at. Recommended coming back the next day. So, I went Wednesday morning at 8:15 and was told they are all booked up. Recommendation then was to make an appointment for the next day. At this point, although, the $39.99 full synthetic oil change at tire discounters is a really good deal, I decided to fork over the cash at the Valvoline instant oil change next door. In and out in about 12 mins, granted it did cost me. I didn't want to waste three days trying to get an oil change. Maybe open up another bay or increase staffing, take care of the customer and maybe in the future, more business would come your way...but only if you want that? read more

I took my Jeep in for a window regulator to be replaced and a quote for a brakes. By a family owned local shop, I had been quoted $1100 for the brakes, $450 for the window, $275 for new lug nuts and was told that I couldn't plug a tire, it would have to be replaced to the tune of $300+. They also said they couldn't get to it for a couple weeks. Since it was raining, and Jeep was covered in a tarp due to the broken window, I went to Tire Discounters ... Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I dropped the Jeep off and was told that they were a little busy, so I was pleasantly surprised to get a call two hours later. The pleasant surprises just keep coming from there - yippee! They fixed the brakes AND the window for $925 and did the tire patch as a "courtesy". More surprises ... ? I forgot all about those lug nuts and today I noticed they had been replaced. ALL of them. I am OVER THE MOON happy with the service and care that TD-Oakley took with my Jeep. I only drive her once or twice a month, but she is my baby and will be my daughter's car some day. I felt like they cared for her like I would have, and THEN went above and beyond! Thank you TD! i brought my car in with a flat tire. after the tire was fixed i had the technician come out to make sure the centerpiece was on correctly, i do this after any store removes a wheel. he didnt touch the centerpiece just looked down at it and said it was on correctly, of course it wasnt and fell off 2 weeks later. i had a set of 4 tire put on there before and had them double check and the centerpieces are still on 6 months later. now the ferguson rd store in cincinnati refusing to replace the missing 50.00 centerpiece. if you pay attention to what you are doing and know what you are doing things like this would not happen. cam the manager was rude and took no responsibility. read more

I was fully expecting to have to pay for a new tire even though it was under warranty (which I did last time for a leak in my wife's car).
