Couldn't help eating some pumpkin pie

He didn't want me to make breakfast so we headed to Village Inn. The private lot was a little busy but we found parking. Were seated right away and our server came over to take our order. Went with the Inn-credible VIB so I could have eggs, bacon, sausage links and hash browns. The hash browns were meh - more like instant than made from scratch. The bacon average and the links ok. It wasn't the best meal but it was fine for a no cooking breakfast morning. The server was pleasant and helpful. Pretty regular turnover of people but we didn't feel rushed.

I woke up today craving pot roast so while I was out running errands Village Inn was on my route. I said if anyone has pot roast then they would. I normally make my own but I didn't have the meat defrosted. I'm so glad i came in as this roast was on time. It totally satisfied my pot roast craving. The server Kyle was very courteous and made sure I was taken care of.

I'm being generous with my 2 star review!! For 3 days straight we haven't been able to order delivery or pick up from their direct website! It appears there's a problem with the order receiving area .... The order either comes up with an error or a cancellation directly from Village Inn When I called I was told by a manager that it wasn't a problem on their end .... Again this has happened 3 days straight !!

Huevos rancheros with fresh, grilled jalapeños!! Really darn good!!

I'm continually impressed by the quality of food they serve here! The staff are very caring individuals as well! Place has quick turnaround on its customers and table prep is really good. For a solid dining experience, breakfast, lunch or dinner, this Village Inn satisfies and is not expensive. Update: 3/2/2019 Slow Saturday and only one girl for each section for food service and bussing. The floors are filthy and the tables aren't very clean. I see a couple people who look managerial but stay in the back area. I don't see much teamwork going on as the one young girl is stressed doing everything by herself. The other side of the restaurant is being vacuumed and looks cleaner too. Maybe Leann just needs better training? She was too eager for us to make our order quickly, but then neglected to follow up with us when we were ready. And the bathroom was gross too. Hit and miss I guess.

"Chop-steak", double mash and Texas toast.

This location is one of the worst in Denver. The quality of food has gone way down hill. I used to enjoy the food here, but not anymore. Prices are the same but portions are smaller. The Chop-steak is nothing more than an over-well-done single beef patty, that resembles a pork flavor and no seasoning. Chop-steak is ground sirloin, this was closer to cheap burger for big price.

Came here for this first time , Got seated very fast . But over all wasn't impressed. Just a regular diner / Breakfast spot . Friend got a hair in his food , & that made me lose my appetite unfortunately. But I'm their favor they did take it off the bill and fix it but just not a great first impression .

Why is the filling lumpy, and why are those holes on top of this?

I was craving a lemon supreme pie so I went to get one. After calling four stores, this location had one. I was surprised inflation didn't cause the pies to increase, and now I know why. The lemon supreme pie is supposed to have 'supreme filling.' However, someone put whipped creamed there instead. Needless to say, I am very unhappy about this. I called the store and spoke to the manger. He described what the pie should have been, and I described what I received. The manager told me to return the pie for a refund. I'm not sure if I want to drive that far again to get a refund. The time and gas, I'm not sure it's worth it. I will be cancelling my holiday pie order.

Slightly sweet and fluffy and taste good with syrup, jam or alone. The restrooms could use a little attention. The floors were wet and the towel dispenser not working properly. I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

Decaf coffee was good, I could drink it multiple times, will definetely order next time. Sweet Potato fries were really delicious and the steak flavor was okay, but atleast it was still tender/cooked perfectly, just wished it punch more but not bad. Mash potato was pretty disappointing. Patty melt was perfect and fries that came with it were perfect. HUGE PORTION TOO!! Ive also ordered a side of Mac which was also reallyyyy good. Service was fast and we were checked on plenty of times and the lady was nice. .. Pretty simple, nothing really over the top, but otherwise satisfied belly and will come back if craving more

We decided to eat there for our first meal after landing from the airport. We arrived to Denver Biscuit Co on a Thursday late afternoon recently. The restaurant is located inside the nice food hall, Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, CO. Parking is accessible all around the marketplace. The restaurant has fun vibrant modern decor. Plenty of booths and tables are available for dining in. A lively full bar with bar stools looks welcoming. There is a family friendly diner vibe going on which was great. Since it was about 4:00pm when we were seated unfortunately they were not serving anymore breakfast food which includes the Franklin Biscuit Sandwich. It ended up being a blessing in disguise though because it happened to be happy hour. We ended up ordering 2 Lights Out Burgers, Sully Fries, Kids chicken tenders, Old fashioned cocktail, and a glass of Chardonnay from the happy hour menu. We also ordered a big cinnamon roll to go. Everything was delicious. Our Lights Out Burgers were mouthwatering. The soft bun, huge juicy patty, melted cheese, pickles, onions were such a great concoction of bold flavors. Sully fries smothered with gravy was scrumptious with every messy bite. Our drinks were refreshing and perfect after a flight. The cinnamon roll was soft, moist, and delectable. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Denver Biscuit Co. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The price point was more than fair. I love the location and Stanley Marketplace is such a fantastic food hall with many food/drink options. We happened across this listing for a restaurant -it's located in the Hyatt regency- but it's an open space with lots of windows and pretty views. We also were at the start of Denver restaurant week, it was early and we had selected items on a happy hour menu too. There were many menu options to choose from. Since we were early on a Sunday the restaurant was staffed however there were not many patrons until we were about 45 minutes into our dinner. It was very nice to have attention and great service, but we will have to return at a busier time to get the real feel. I had selections from the restaurant week menu and my husband chose from the regular menu. He was able to also take advantage of the happy hour drink menu. I had the starter salad with baby gem lettuce and mango, the presentation was very beautiful, and tasted so fresh and lovely. Then I had the trout featured entree also so pretty with asparagus and potatoes and wonderfully served. It was so tasty that I did say I would choose this if available on a regular menu too. For dessert we choose a banana dessert that were fried inside a crispy wrapper served with and iced cream again so pretty and delicious. My husband enjoyed the 5280 burger entree with fries, he stated that it was perfectly done to his specified request. He enjoyed it tremendously. We spent about an hour and a half and people began to arrive and be seated, there was never a disruption to our terrific service from Charlie and crew! That said, my husband and I really enjoyed Borealis and ate most meals at the restaurant during our one-week stay. The only times we didn't eat at Borealis were when we went to my parents' and siblings' homes and a couple of times we went out. Even though Stanley was nearby, we preferred the dishes and service at Borealis. Highlights: Breakfast: French toast. It was simple but it was tasty. It was perfectly cooked. It didn't come with sides but it was perfect the way it was. It wasn't too sweet. I had a humble black coffee and half of my husband's bacon and it was the perfect start to the day. Happy Hour/Dinner: I'm not a big dinner person, so I tend to opt for appetizer or happy hour food. I had the pork green chili, egg rolls, and sliders during our stay. The sliders were delicious!!! I was actually going to have the hamburger that everyone at the bar raved about (I was there one night and the four other guests were eating and commented to the bartender how it was really good; my husband also had it twice), but it was too big for me. I figured that the sliders were of the same meat so it was the perfect size for me. Anyway, it did not disappoint. The egg rolls were ok, but a little too big for me. Maybe preference; maybe bias (my dad's is the best!). Dishes my husband had that I sampled and was blown away: The salmon with whipped ube mashed potatoes is a must-have. That was the perfect blend of savory and slight sweet. Had I not eaten my sliders, I would have orded my own. I have never seen this combo and it's definitely worth the drive (if you are not staying at the hotel). The steak with adobo sauce was also fantastic. The sauce was served on the side. Even without the sauce, the steak was tasty. And as I mentioned, he had the hamburger twice. Dessert: The ube tres leches was DELICIOUS!!!!! Other considerations: Price Point - Happy to say that it's not your typical hotel crazy price point. The cost is comparable to local restaurants, and the food was really good. Service - Shout out to the bartenders, especially Charlie! Very friendly and chill. Parking - There is free one-hour parking. There are also other free parking nearby. Seriously, even if you are not staying at the hotel, Borealis is definitely worth checking out.
