    16" Sicilian Pizza

Best sicilian pie All Time!!! I am 36 and have had so many sicilians... from Hopewell NJ, lived all over the country NY, VA, WA.... amazingly awesome here... cheese top quality, sauce is sweet but not too sweet, absolutely outrageous sauce steals the show... and then the bake/dough is just perfect... kind of chewy and heavy slices the way I love it... Totally epic... this takes crown as my favorite sicilian ever congratulations will be ordering many more times and telling all my friends how good=). Well done should be proud.. Avery T

This review is just for very bad TO GO order they had placed. We had ordered 4 "cheese pizza" slices. 2 slices in each box. There were only 2 slices in one box and other box was empty. When i called them, the guy over a phone on other side was completely sure that this thing didn't happened. N rude n dropped the call. What i learned is these guys are completely rude when you complain..

Its about the 6th time I've been to Villa Rosa in the last few months! I went to a family get together in June 2017 at the restaurant. Everything that was served was delicious! From salad to pasta to chicken parmigiana!!! I've been back for sandwiches a few times! The rolls they use for the cheesesteaks & other sandwiches are great!!! The best rolls in this area!!!

OK it may not be the go-to pizza place you'll tell your grandchildren about, but this restaurant, tucked in the same complex as Five Guys, Italian People's Bakery, East Sushi and a Family Dollar, is actually pretty decent. The review is just for the pizzeria side of the business (the restaurant is on the other side of the room). The pizza are, for lack of better adjectives, delicious. Thin and a bit crispy on the dough, and with quite generous portion of whatever you order (we ordered the BBQ chicken and veggie). The strombolis were also quite delectable, with a proper level of gooeyness and content quality. Good decent pizza spot for your money.

My experience here has been with delivery or takeout. Really good pizza and nice portions on their salads!

I ordered veal chop, which was really nice, and everything tasted great. Good service overall, and very charming setting inside. Nice that we had that section of the dining room to ourselves too. The vibe is old school and cozy and was beautifully decorated for the season. We started at the bar with vodka martinis that were made perfectly by the friendly bartenders and generously filled as well. We asked if we could move to a table for dinner and they accommodated us immediately telling us to take our time at the bar and showed us the table they reserved for us when we were ready to sit. Once we sat down our server, Tony, came over immediately and introduced himself. He told us about the restaurant and also about the nightly specials. We decided on the clams casino appetizer. While we were waiting he brought us fresh baked Italian bread and homemade butter. It was delicious and when we were down to the last piece a new loaf was put down without even asking. The clams and lemon wine butter sauce were delicious. Salads came soon after in a light vinegarette with fresh sliced cheese. The entrees we ordered were the Roebling Veal Chop milanese style and the seafood pasta. Both were delicious and the chop was giant! For desert we shared "A little of everything" which consisted of a tartufo, a tiramiso, and a canoli. They gave us 2 complementary limoncellos to have with desert. The owner stopped by to see how everything was and kicked up a conversation about the restaurant and how it owned it for 39 years. It started in Chambersburg, a once vibrant little Italy in Trenton that no longer exists. Throughout the night we were treated like VIPs and truly like family. This date night at Marsilio's kitchen was more than a meal. It was a dining experience and we will certainly be back soon.

It's dark and cozy and has a lovely large bar set off to the side of the eating area. I like the bars to be part of the dining experience, but I really love it when the bar is in its own little place, and the diners are in their own little place together. We have enjoyed Thanksgiving here for several years as well as many many many meals they are consistently yummy and always warm and welcoming. This is one restaurant where I've never had a bad meal. It really is that old time "meet you at the door" .."come on in and eat some food"... kind of vibe !!!

I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka with breaded chicken--creamy, flavorful, and super satisfying. An 8/10 for me. My sister had the gnocchi with breaded chicken and was raving--she gave it a 9/10 without hesitation. We also had a couple drinks, and let me tell you--they were made with love. You could taste the care in every sip. Terri and Ron took amazing care of us--so kind, welcoming, and genuine. The space has a woodsy charm to it--open, cozy, and perfect for a date night or even a chill celebration with loved ones. Definitely one of those places that makes you want to come back.

It wasn't showing up on my account. I called the restaurant and they were able to find and confirm. I don't know if it's an Open Table glitch. They were so accommodating upon arrival when our party went from 9 people to 7. The staff was amazing and on top of everything. We ordered apps off the dining room menu but they let us order large pizzas instead of the 12" ones. We had calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. I love that they offer the calamari in both fried and grilled. I was outvoted on the grilled but I have to say that the squid was perfectly cooked. Not chewy or fishy at all. Very tender. The breading was light and not greasy at all. The bacon wrapped shrimp were interesting. The shrimp were huge. They were drenched in BBQ sauce. I thought it was ok but I'm not sure about the flavor combo. We ordered a large plain and a large pepperoni. I thought the plain was delicious. The dough was good and not too much flop. The sauce was a bit sweet, which I like. The only issue is that the cheese and sauce didn't stick to the dough so it slid off while cutting. Overall, I think they did a great job with a large group during weekday lunch.
