My new Brazilian and brow waxing spot! Viktoria, the owner, made me feel so comfortable as it was my first time ever getting a Brazilian wax. She made it as pain free as possible and put me at ease. They do a phenomenal job at brow tinting and waxing as well. I would absolutely recommend coming here. read more

I love this place. I try to use the same person every time I go, but all the estheticians I've had are fabulous. While pregnant they make sure to not use anything potentially harmful. They diagnose my skin and recommend the appropriate treatments. The face doesn't look great right after extractions and everything, but give it a few days and your skin will glow. read more

First let me say, I love ksenyia! I am a native Chicagoan, but have lived in LA for 17 years. I can back for work and moved into Wicker Park. I was in need of a great waxer in the area. I found her on Yelp, great reviews, local, sounded great! My first visit, I felt like I had been going to her for years. It was instant love! She is so sweet, but has strong character, very smart, ambitious, a true professional, and most importantly stellar at her craft! I love her Facials and Microderm Abrasions. I always feel pampered and taken care of. Love the Brazilian and my eye brows never looked so good. : ) I love her! I would highly recommend her for any skin care needs. What am I going to do when I go back to LA ; ) read more

The ladies that run this place are fantastic! I received a deep facial cleanse. There is a difference in my skin after going there. Two suggestions for them would be to play some better music (spa music would be nice) and to give a better robe to change into. The one now is a one size fits all with velcro. read more

I had my second Brazilian done today via Groupon. Kseniya was extremely pleasant and accommodating (I made an appointment only 2 days in advance). She uses two types of wax here: hard and creamy (not soft). I actually had a conversation with her about how soft wax and honey wax can sometimes cause ingrowns because of skin adhesion. Since my last Brazilian was only 4 weeks ago, this was much less painful because the hair hasn't grown much. The hard wax definitely is the best because I basically couldn't feel any pain. She was also wonderful in cleaning up with oil to prevent stickiness. I am taking off a star because, to my surprise, I had quite a few strays that I had to take a mirror and pluck when I got home. Understandably, some were very thin and hard to see and some were also very short but there were still more than just a few that were definitely not long enough. Overall, I would recommend going to Kseniya for first-timers or even experienced waxees, but I would definitely make sure it is an appropriate length so that the result is 100%. P.S. If it is your first time going, go inside the nail salon to the left and let the receptionist know. She will direct you to go downstairs where Viktoria Skin Care is. read more

As I'm sure many people can relate, a Brazilian could be a frightening and potentially traumatizing experience. So to say that I enjoy coming to Viktoria Skin Care to get one is saying a lot! I've been coming here for more than a year, and have always had a great experience. I have been helped many times by Golnara who is a extremely fast and I love chatting with, which serves as a welcome distraction! She has also waxed my eyebrows and got me to try eyebrow tinting, which despite my hesitation, looked fantastic just as she promised. I've also seen Ulyana, who too is extremely professional, quick, and seamless. I recommend this place to all of my friends who have never had Brazilians (or other waxes) as well as those who have been hurt by waxes in the past! read more

I love this place! I got a lifebooker coupon for a full leg wax and brazilian, she was able to book me the day before and was very understanding of my busy schedule. I will be coming back soon, it has been a few days and both my legs and brazilian have held up which is good to know because I am on vacation. read more

Went in for a Brazilian wax. Very good service. The staff used gloves and disposable wooden sticks, which means very hygienic and definitely no double dipping. Parking is easy. The staff working there are all very friendly. I love this place and will consider coming again. read more

i read these great reviews about kseniya so i decided to try her out. she was very nice & professional. love her accent! brazilian was done with no problems & she made me feel comfortable. she said she should be movin into her own salon in a few weeks so i will definitely be back next month no matter where she is! read more

Excellent Brazilian. Trust me I have been to the high end, and not so high end places. Don't get me wrong a Brazilian will hurt, but this is hands down one of the most painless places to get it done. I will definitely be back here. read more

Kseniya is great! I first went after purchasing a groupon for a Brazilian. I have since been back 3 times. She is extremely efficient and meticulous. I have also gone to her for a facial and microdermabrasion- both great. She uses very high quality facial products. Her prices are very reasonable and scheduling is easy. Highly recommend! read more

What friendly staff and owners... I've been here a few times and they do a terrific job. They're reasonably priced and their customer service is top-notch. Their system also sends you a text message confirming your appt, which is great for those of us with busy lives!!! read more

I had a great experience getting a Brazilian wax from Golnara a few months back. It was my first Brazilian, and I was definitely a little nervous for my appointment. Golnara was quick and professional, and kept me at ease during the process. As I said, this was my first Brazilian, but I will say I can't imagine getting a better final result. Golnara was a perfectionist and really worked to get every stubborn hair. I've definitely found my new go-to place! read more

I went here in may because of the good reviews and my experience was great. The place was clean and comfy and she used two types of wax to make my Brazilian less painful but very thorough. I was shocked at how easy the Brazilian was. I get them monthly but this was definitely the easiest Brazilian I've gotten. She was lovely and gave me great tips for my ingrown hairs without trying to sell me products. Just made another appointment for my next visit! read more

I purchase a Brazilian Wax on Groupon. At first I was not able to book the appointment at the time I wanted. So I called in to see if they had the time I wanted. Ksenyia took the time to call me and give me the time I wanted. Which was nice since I was going on vacation the next day. Everything that was done was explained and why it was done that way since it was the first time I had gotten a wax. I was the first one there and it took no longer than 15 minutes. I will be going back and recommending her to others. read more

I've been coming here for almost 2 years but I've been using wax/fascists for almost 7. She is by far the best I've gone to! The quality of her products is amazing. Shes quick (and when you're getting certain waxes, that matters) and far better than other similar places in the neighborhood (aka Trim). Easy to make appointments and reasonably priced! Love it! read more

I would literally drive 500 miles to see Kseniya for waxing & skin care. I found Viktoria Skin Care on Groupon about 9 months ago & have been going there ever since! She is extremely professional, sweet & has helped my skin SO much. She's also helping prepare my skin for my wedding. I recommend her waxing services, facials, microdermabrasion & chemical peels. No matter what your skin type, Kseniya will help you!! This place is A+++++. She also helped my fiance with razor burn on his neck after shaving, so send your guys here, too! :) read more

Ksenya is the best. Beautiful space and great work ethics. She makes you feel comfortable. She is great at her job. I recommend her from facial to Brazilians and everything else in the middle ! read more

Ksenyia is very friendly and professional. My back/shoulder waxes are quick and comfortable. Before coming to Viktoria Skin Care I was always on Lifebooker looking for a deal when I needed a wax - now I don't go to anyone else! Highly recommend. read more

I don't know how this place has such a high rating! Maybe I had a bad experience because I had a groupon?! I had a Brazilian with Ksenyia. She was rude, abrasive and did a horrible job. It is two weeks later and I need another wax! This is not my first wax and I usually can go 4-5 weeks before needed a wax again. It was a horrible experience. She did an awful job and I will never go there again. I usually go to smuveskincare, and that is where I will go again, she is kind, gentle and takes the time to do a great job! Unlike Ksenyia, who rushed through it, made things very painful, and the end result was terrible! read more

Got a wax yesterday and for the 1st time ever, I survived the whole thing without crying and/or screaming LOL Truly, a cute salon, the staff was friendly and the "hard wax" they used on my skin was much more gentle and less painful than standard waxes and strips. I really appreciated that. The normal pricing seems reasonable too, though I had a groupon for this visit. read more

I bought a 3 package Groupon for a Brazilian wax here and my first time experience was great; the girl (I wish I can remember her name) was gentle, quick and thorough and also sweet. I really, really wanted to come back a become a "regular customer" until I felt a slight discomfort on my 2nd visit for providing a 2nd voucher upon checkout. It was assumed I only had 2 Groupon vouchers to use when I had purchased the package of 3. I booked a 3rd appointment but had to cancel (before their 24hr cancellation policy window). I was ready to rebook another appointment today and realized they had redeemed my 3rd Groupon the same day they redeemed my 2nd Groupon during my 2nd appointment. I was pretty upset knowing the fact that they had already given me funny looks for being a Groupon customer with a package of 3 and almost seemed as if it was purposely done. I had to call Groupon to request a refund and it was a headache. Complete disservice. read more

I found this place after trying several other spots for their brazilian wax through Groupon. I bought the 3 brazilian wax and gave it a go. Mannn I was soooooo glad i found her! It was the best experience and i can say we females like to find our "go to place". Been going there for almost a year now and i'm happy :). I tend to call on random days to make an appointment and she always squeezes me in for same day! (except once..no biggie) I'm faithful to my girl she's great! I def recommend her ..plus she discounts if your faithful to her :D read more

I had a facial with Kseniya and I was very pleased with the results. I went back for a microdermabrasion and then went back for a glycolic peel. I have had problem skin all my life, but each time I go back for a facial I feel great and am beginning to see a HUGE improvement in my complexion. Love Kseniya! She is a professional who knows her craft well and is extremely pleasant. I always have a great experience and I love the product lines she uses. She's a keeper! read more

Great service! I was greeted immediately and offered a beverage even though there was no wait. I went for a Brazilian and Kseneya was so quick and pleasant to talk to. I was out in 15 minutes and everything looks great. I will definitely be back. read more

I have been going to viktorias skin care for a wax for over 2 years. I followed her to her new location and have nothing but the best things to say. Kseniya is efficient, fast and sooooo nice! Always welcoming and patient. The salon is clean and comfortable. I literally have nothing bad to say about this place!! Give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

This review is about a service I received nearly a month ago. I had a terrible experience. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they were nice and my hair was very grown out & course since it was my first time not shaving for a while. I went in for a Brazilian. I was originally booked with viktoria but when I got there they switched me because the appointment before mine cancelled. No one asked me if that was okay or not. But I didn't make a fuss. I should have, because they gave me the new girl! Idk if it was her first day or what (she claimed shed been there for a month) but She did not know what she was doing. Very slow and seemed nervous & unsure. It took her nearly an hour to finish and it was awkward & painful. She didn't seem confident in what she was doing and it made me extremely nervous. She had to leave the room to get materials that i think should've been in there already. Then she kept switching back & forth between soft & hard wax before settling on hard wax. She was not neat at all & there was wax EVERYWHERE when she was done. Because she took so long someone had to come in & tell her that her next appointment was there. Lastly, there was still a bit of hair left that she couldn't get out & didn't have time pluck because of the next appointment. I know new people have to learn butI just wished that they had given me a heads up & option to say no. Because the original person I book an appointment for have great reviews on here. Booked again but later canceled & i won't be returning here. read more

I started coming here after buying the groupon for my Brazilian Waxes. I've been to a lot of different places looking for my go-to waxer, and I'm so glad that I found Viktoria Skin Care. Kseniya is extremely professional, knows how to make you comfortable, and always does a fantastic job. The salon is also very clean and can usually get me in to an appointment right away. Very happy with their services! read more

I highly recommend this place for your waxing needs! Last year, I'd never had a brazilian done because I was scared from hearing my friends horror stories at other places. But, I decided to give it a try at Viktoria Skin Care and Kseniya instantly put me at ease and was extremely nice and pleasant. Although it's obviously not fun to get waxed, in comparison to my friends, I can honestly say it was a "best case" experience- both during the wax and the post-wax recovery (which was MUCH less than I expected vs my friends.) I've continued to go back about once a month and it's been quick and easy! I appreciate Kseniya's care in explaining the process and checking in to make sure the temp is OK, etc. She also provides a great price for the service vs many other salons with higher prices but less talented professionals. I've always had a pleasant experience here, and so she has earned my trust to become a loyal, longtime customer. I highly recommend Kseniya and Viktoria Skin Care to anyone! read more
