Came by to pick up a cake and grabbed an extra slice! This is inside the Gelsons store. The Viktor Benes Bakery section also serves pastries and coffees as well. We wanted to stop by for an off the shelf chocolate birthday cake. There was plenty them, from chocolate liqueur to cream to glazed outside with chocolate sponge inside. Plenty of other cakes too like Oreo and princess cakes. We actually grabbed a slice of princess as well. It has a good marzipan almond flavor but could use more cream. Only downside is no prices are displayed so we had to ask the staff the prices of each cake.

Amazing bakery and great service! I ordered a custom cake for my sister's birthday and they were able to perfectly re-create a cake I showed them on a picture. My sister loved it and it was delicious as well!

Thank you so so much for my daughters beautiful And delicious cake

Thank you so much for my daughter's beautiful and delicious cake , it's always a success when I order from you guys.

Swedish Princess Cake with Fondant frosting. Amazing!!!!

If I could give more stars I would!!! I had this bakery make my son's graduation cake. My son's favorite cake is there Swedish princess cake, and they were able to make that into a sheet cake. I gave them a picture for the decoration and they did a beautiful job. I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone loves the cake and commented on it at his party. Since we live in Fresno, my daughter who lives in Los Angeles had to drive it down. We weren't sure what to expect but this was far beyond what we did!!

got a cake last minute for my sister's 21st birthday. We were expecting great things from what we had heard about this bakery from others. To start, the cake cost $40. The writing on top was terrible - I could've done a better job myself. The cake itself? Dry, stale, and FLAVORLESS. Take your business elsewhere for cakes, this is not worth the money and we were extremely disappointed.

Inspiration photo! They knocked it out of the park!

A Decadent Father's Day Surprise!…read more For Father's Day, my son decided to surprise us with something from Artelice Patisserie, and let's just say... he absolutely understood the assignment. These pastries were not your everyday desserts--they were little works of art, and every single one was incredibly decadent and delicious. We had the Blossom, with vanilla mousse, pistachio and red berry insert, pistachio crunch, and pistachio sponge. The combination of creamy, nutty, fruity, and crunchy textures was so beautifully balanced. Every bite had something different going on, but somehow it all worked together perfectly. Then there was the Tropical Mango, made with mango and passion fruit mousse, fresh mango filling, coconut crunch, and coconut sponge. This one was such a gorgeous tropical escape! Bright fruit flavors balanced with that delicate coconut richness, and the textures made it just as interesting as it was delicious. We also had a beautiful pistachio creation with pistachio mousse, pistachio praline, pistachio and hazelnut crunch, and pistachio sponge. I'm not completely certain of the exact name because the color of ours looked a little different from the one pictured on their menu, but whatever this beauty was called, it was absolutely amazing. If you love pistachio, this one is definitely worth seeking out. What I loved most about Artelice is that these aren't simply pretty pastries. Each one feels thoughtfully constructed, with layers of mousse, sponge, crunch, fruit, and praline creating a completely different experience from bite to bite. They're rich and decadent without feeling like you're just eating one big blast of sweetness. And the presentation? Gorgeous. These are the kind of desserts that make you pause before taking that first bite because they're almost too pretty to disturb... almost. I'm always happy when my son introduces me to another great food discovery, and Artelice Patisserie was such a fun Father's Day treat. Everything we tried was unique, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious. Now I'm curious about the rest of their pastry case--which, honestly, could be dangerous for my dessert-loving self.

I think I've tried half of the menu here lol. My go to is definitely the New York roll and the mango passion fruit cruffin. I love that they change their New York roll flavours often. What really stood out for me was how well balanced the flavours are in their fillings, especially in the New York roll and the cruffin. They also do really well with their citrus combos like the cruffin, exotic or the mango eclair. I wish there was more custard in their fruit danish and sometimes the croissants aren't as soft, possibly a little overcooked. But the pastry on the cruffin was one of the softest and most delicate I've ever had. The macarons are also great especially the yuzu, passionate, hazelnut and raspberry flavours.

While the flavor variety is awesome and they don't skimp on fillings, man are these cakes typically dry and a little dense. Had the tropical coconut pineapple cake for a friend's retirement party in December and while the price of a small cake is steep, it was very good. I was impressed! Another friend and I debated what the best berry and cream cake was. I said WholeFoods. She said SusieCakes. We taste tested. We both stood our ground on our opinions. Last weekend,I had the strawberry cake at a birthday party and it was very dry and dense. And the baby's "smash cake" never really got any deeper than the frosting layer, which leads me to believe it was also dense. While I was doing my friend the favor of picking up said birthday cakes, I noticed the pineapple coconut was back in season, so I came to SusieCakes the next day to get a slice. Very friendly staff! But very dry cake. So disappointing after paying ten dollars for a slice. Overall, the vibes are always good. The flavors are great. But the texture is just not it.

I requested a pastel, whimsical, tea design cake and sent reference photos. What I received was bold, watermelon-like colors that completely clashed with my child's party theme and on top of that, a milestone 5th birthday. I was also only told after ordering and paying that Sunday pickup isn't normally allowed -- forcing me to pick up the cake at 8am the morning of the party. That policy should be disclosed upfront. We had to change plans in order to accomodate this request she unprofessionally sprung onto us. I emailed with photos and respectful feedback and received no response. Not even an acknowledgment. As a business owner, I would have been ashamed of this! The cake tasted fine, but the communication and customer care were terrible. I would not trust this bakery for an important event, ever! Please save yourself the trouble and thank me later ... i would give this review zero stars if I could.

Walked in yesterday mid-evening at 5:30 pm and was greeted by Anna with a pleasant, pretty smile. She was kind, helpful and very nice. This is an Armenian bakery run by a lot of nice, helpful employees. They sell a variety of baked goods and a few savory items. Ponchik, (the closest way to explain this food is a donut). Filled with custard, nutella, and I believe other flavors too. They have Lahmajune, (Armenian pizza), Perashki, (a long dough filled with Spinach, Potato, Mushrooms, Cheese). They also sell other types of pastries, beverages, candy, cake, chocolates, boreks, with different fillings. My favorite is the Cheese borek. Rolls too. With different fillings.. and so much more.. All I needed and was craving for was 4 of their fresh, delicious Ponchiks. They were nice enough to give me an extra one--free of charge. The smell of those Ponchiks transported me back to Armenia. It was fresh and very hot. Came straight from the fryer. Since I was going to have dinner next door, I didn't want to get full on sweets. For 4 Ponchiks I paid ($13.60). Their prices are very affordable according to the sizes of their delicious savory and sweet baked goods. If you pay with card, there is an extra $1.00 fee for processing. I paid cash. I couldn't help it I started to eat my Ponchik on the drive, it was so fresh and piping hot, so fluffy, and the custard so thick and delicious. I am definitely a fan!
