Wanting to support a local business, I approached them regarding installing vinyl sheet flooring in…read moremy 20 square-foot bathroom. After showing them a picture with residual tile grout I was told $1500. A man from Dorion came to measure, and indicated that the job could be completed for much less. Yet when they provided the official estimate, it was back to $1500. I was able to find a company to level the floor and install the vinyl sheet for under $300 plus the cost of the vinyl. Was it because I am a senior citizen? Was it because I am a woman? Whatever the reason, I can only assume they were trying to take advantage of me.

We had two of our bathroom floors replaced by Terrace Flooring in late December 2025. The owner,…read moreMartin, is not only very friendly but super knowledgeable and helpful. When our budget didn't allow the tile floor of our choice, he suggested an alternative, which turned out to be a better choice. Martin's crew were fantastic as well. They were punctual, polite and hardworking. They arrived on time and finished the work in much shorter time than expected. The flooring material we chose was CoreTec - it's is so beautiful and we couldn't be happier! It looks like natural material but unlike the real thing, they are not cold, so we can walk barefoot no problem, even in the dead of winter like right now! I highly recommend Terrace Floor Covering and CoreTec tiles (their website has a cool tool to see how the floor would look in your home and it was spot on!)

Denise was extremely helpful, offering different options and helping me brainstorm ideas for my project. She and the owners went out of thier way to call different suppliers and check stock. I will absolutely use this company in the future.

She has excellent communication follow up and really helped us to get what we were looking for in a floor. Ann has tons of experience to share and definitely worth the drive to their show room. If you have the opportunity to pick the install team, I can't recommend Angel enough! He was our install lead and did above and beyond in my opinion for an install. He ensured the team did top notch clean up every night and put as much of the house back to normal each night to ensure it was livable. Angel even mocked up suggestions for us to pick for transitions and had excellent ideas from his 20 years of experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and will only work with them moving forward for flooring needs.

Unfortunately, our experience with Performers Flooring & Design Gallery has become extremely…read moredisappointing. We paid a $5,877.50 deposit for a flooring project that was later postponed while a separate legal matter involving our existing flooring was being resolved. When we eventually requested the return of our deposit, we made repeated attempts to obtain a response, including written requests in June, July, and August 2026. We were ultimately sent a check for only $1,142.50, with $4,735.00 deducted for alleged material purchases, annual replacement of finishes due to shelf life, and an $850 inspection charge. We dispute these deductions because, as of the date of this review, we have not been provided with signed contractual language authorizing them, written approvals showing that we agreed to these purchases or replacement charges, supplier invoices, receipts, proof of payment, or adequate documentation explaining what happened to the materials. We previously trusted this company, maintained a positive relationship with its owner, and referred multiple clients to them. The lack of communication and the manner in which this refund has been handled are unacceptable. The matter has now been referred to legal counsel. I will update this review if Performers provides the requested documentation and resolves the dispute fairly.

We hired Performers Flooring to repair a portion of a customer's hardwood floor and then sand and…read morerefinish the entire floor. During the final walkthrough, the customer identified a few minor issues that both I and their project manager, Roland, agreed needed to be addressed. Roland advised that he would follow up directly with the customer to schedule the corrective work. Unfortunately, more than a month has passed, and the customer has not received a single call to schedule the repairs. In addition, I have repeatedly attempted to reach Roland by phone and text for updates, but my messages have gone unanswered. The quality of the flooring work was generally acceptable, but the complete lack of communication and follow-through after the project was completed has been extremely disappointing. Customer service does not end when the final invoice is issued, and this experience has made it difficult for me to recommend this company.

We had a so-so experience working with Sterling on a new solid surface double vanity top for our…read morebathroom. The showroom offered an array of setups and samples to choose from, and we had a shorter turnaround on the completion and delivery of our top than anticipated. Things started heading south once we opened up the top and prepped it for install. Despite allowing the top to lay flat for a week to settle, it showed a significant bow on the underside of the middle of the top, a very noticeable warp that could be seen in the backsplash and along the front edge of the counter. We had it installed to see if allowing it to settle further would help, but nothing changed. We then spent several weeks going back and forth with Sterling (and their parent company Americraft) who insisted that the issue must be with the cabinet (which was level) or the wall (which was square). They agreed to make it right with a new top, but initially refused to help cover the install fee which originally cost us $800. Once we agreed they wouldn't have considered replacement without knowing we tried to install it in the first place, they said they would send someone out to install as well. Sterling outsources the manufacture of their tops to Carstin Kitchen & Bath in Arthur, IL and they clearly have an issue with their molds. Even the Americraft installers were taken aback by the noticeable bow in our original top and noticed a minor bowing in the second replacement top. In the end, we got a top that sits level and looks nice in our bathroom, but it was an unnecessarily exhaustive process to get there. I wouldn't recommend working with Sterling unless they commit to working with a different manufacturer.
