A poem dedicated to Sailorfoodie's mom: You became a mother at only 10 years old, Following the passing of your very own. Your younger siblings began to look to you, Giving them the care and protection needed for this journey of life to get them through. You survived years of hardship in an impoverished land, Carrying the duties as the first born daughter with your weathered hands. Your selfless love soared higher than the tallest mountain, Making father easily fall for you at the very first encounter. You embarked to America with joy and sorrow, Saying goodbye to those you hold dearly while bracing for the unknown of tomorrow. Your silver strands glistening in the morning glory, Reflecting all of the paths of difficulties you have faced, I hope now with your family happy and healthy you can sit with ease with no worry. -Sailor out
