Can for lunch again today. The Vietnamese eggs rolls are so good! The rare beef Pho is an absolute treat on a cold Omaha day. Such friendly service as well. Love this place

This was a great place to eat. I had the spring rolls and brisket pho which was really great and would definitely eat again. I also ordered the boba which I would definitely come back for even without food. The boba was a 5/5, the tapioca was great and the drink was like a slushy which was a nice surprise and tasted just right. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

Friendly, professional staff. Cute, quiet dining room. Great prices for pretty tasty food! Our pho and pineapple curry were quite good.

Being Vietnamese, my father and I enjoy speaking to the staff of Vietnamese restaurants in our native tongue. As we were chatting with our waiter, we asked "what's good on the menu?" to which he replied "nothing really haha". Red flag #1. We decided to order our go-tos at Viet restaurants, Phở Đặc Biệt for my dad and Cơm sườn nướng for me. The pho broth was weak and tasted as if it was reconstituted from a powder packet. My dish consisted of a tiny tough pork chop atop of hard rice that seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. Red flags #2 & 3. Needless to say, we were disappointed and will not return.

Well if anything tells you a restaurant is good like forgetting to take photos of the food, here's your sign :-) went one evening around 4:30 before the dinner rush, so I was able to order right away and we got our food in about 10-15 minutes. I don't expect a quick food delivery for good food, so the wait was perfect! I got the crispy pork vermicelli, the pork was indeed crispy, cooked to perfection, and still moist! My hubby had the combo pho and he said it was fantastic, no complaints there! We also tried the egg rolls and oh my, coming out hot and crispy and just the right size for a quick snack! I also ended up getting a Vietnamese coffee, because you can't go to a Vietnamese restaurant and not get coffee, right?! So even though it was almost 5 pm, I took some sips and it took all my willpower to save it for the next morning! It was just as good then, on my morning walk to give me a little boost of energy! What I'm trying to say is go here, fast.

Small restaurant. Ate few times at this restaurant. I love their Pho soup, their broth is one of the best in Omaha. I wasn't big fan of their Thai red curry and the rice they served was warm like it was leftover rice heated up. Service is not too great but great soup and resonable pricing.

This place is the spot. Hidden and inconspicuous, this place hides a variety of menu options, but the pho & taro boba tea is our go-to everytime. If you want some pho, this is the spot to go.

This place is very simple, but the service is really good and the food is a topnotch...I hope the owners will wipe the windows, the plants, decors and etc.

You can choose from a wide variety of seafood such as shrimp, mussels, lobster, snow crab etc. once you choose your seafood that you select your flavoring. Choices are Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, or a mix of all three. Lastly, choose your spice level (mild, medium, hot, etc). We both selected the snow crab and snow boil with Cajun seasoning and mild spice. The boils also come with corn, potatoes and a hard boiled egg. Never seen the egg in a boil before. Everything comes out in a big plastic bag in a steel pan. Dump the contents out and prepare to dig in. Let me say that this is not the place to go out all dressed up. The boils are very messy. They give you an apron and plastic gloves, but still a mess. It was delicious. We also got a couple sides of hush puppies which were very tasty as well. Good portions. Staff was friendly and informative. Really great flavors in the boils. They did a real good job. Definitely worth checking out.

We're visiting Omaha, NE for the weekend and was looking for a good pho place. We decided to give…read morethis spot a try since it wasn't too far of a drive from the hotel we were staying at. We did read through quite a bit of reviews and we figured that since a lot of reviews were older, perhaps there are some improvements so we gave it a try! I do have some thoughts and wanted to share a current review on our experience today. Pro to Food: We ordered 2 bowls of their beef Combination Pho. We absolutely LOVED how flavorful the broth was. We didn't have to add any additional sauce to the broth to enhance the flavor because the broth was already super tasty. Like many other reviews, the broth is a little bit more oily than we're used to seeing BUT we cannot deny how great the flavor was so that's a huge bonus which is why we didn't mind the "oily" broth! It wasn't too terrible. Just a little more oily than what we've seen at other pho places but it's probably the liquid gold! Cons: - lack of meat in both phos. Our bowls of pho had very little amount of meat so that was a disappointment. I didn't count how many slices of meat/meatballs but it was a lot less than we're used to. Several other reviewers said that same thing about this issue, but we were hoping that since it's been several years since those reviews were posted, perhaps things have changed but sadly, it's still the same. - pho sizes: they only have one size. It would've been nice to have different sizes in case someone had a bigger appetite. - ambiance/cleanliness: The entire place needs remodeling (walls, floors, paint). They need to remove all the chairs and tables, sweep and mop everything thoroughly, and then put everything back. It looks like a place that just opened and is still needing a lot of work. - TV: They had a TV that was playing a video shooting game (like Roblox). I have a feeling that this was more so as entertainment for the owner's little ones but as a customer, I thought it was inappropriate in a restaurant setting to have something like that playing in this restaurant space. I'm a mother as well so having my little one there while trying to enjoy my meal and trying to keep my child from not watching something like that was a juggle that I didn't appreciate. We did see the "Shortage in staff" sign at the front of the restaurant (by the entrance) so we are sadden to see that due to shortage in staff, they're not able to get things where they would like it to be. Hoping that in a few years, we'll see some improvements if we're ever in the area again! Overall, would I recommend this place? I'll say, maaaaaaaaaybe (only for the broth). There are a lot of things that can be improved to make the place more inviting & the experience better. We have a favorite pho place where we live so that is the standard that we look for when we're trying other places but we always like to keep an open mind and try new places especially when we're traveling. The pho broth here is phenomenal so hats off to the chef!

I probably had half the broth and most of the veggies and noodles in my dinner portion, so I'm sitting here feeling like a roly poly, but it was worth it. My husband got the combo pho and all the veggies and noodles looked so fresh and good! I'm excited to go back. This is a no fuss, straight to business good food restaurant. If you're looking for authentic pho, this is a good choice. I didn't get a picture of the beef soup because I ate it too fast, but it was also lovely.

A friend had their birthday there recently - and unfortunately I was not super impressed. The interior looks similar to the outside, like it's been there for a long time and because of that, is a little run down. The service was great, especially since we were a large group. They were keeping all the drink and food orders straight, which was impressive. I had an appetizer and chose the Pate So, which are little puff pastries filled with a protein and delicious sauce. I loved these. I also had the meatball soup, which was pretty flavorful, but almost clear, so it didn't seem to have very much seasoning in the broth. And then for my entree, I picked the Sesame Chicken. It was kind of dry chicken and also in gigantic chunks, so was pretty hard to eat without doing surgery at the table. Ugh. The one other plus (aside from the service and Pate So), is that they are pretty inexpensive. So Saigon Restaurant has some good options, but others are not as awesome. It's a little dated inside and out, but the service is excellent, and you won't spend an arm and a leg. For those reasons, I still recommend trying them out, because you may find something you do like and not overspend on it, in case you aren't a huge fan.

Heads up, soft drinks come in a can so no free refills here, but water is available, thankfully. I treated myself to a strawberry lemonade with popping dragon fruit boba, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Definitely getting that again. We started with crab rangoon. Service was a bit slow, even though it was not too busy, but the rangoons were worth every second. For the main event, we each grabbed a large bowl of pho. One special, one steak-only (mine), and one chicken. I love that all the sauces, utensils, and extras are right on the table. The broth is what makes pho, and theirs did not disappoint. The noodles took a little work, but everything came together perfectly. And the plate of sprouts, cilantro, lime, and jalapeño lets you doctor your soup just the way you like it. Lunch came to about $37 after tip (I covered the rangoons), which is a little steep, but considering I got a craft lemonade, a pop, a large soup, and plenty of leftovers, I think it was worth it. Honestly, the quality and quantity more than justify the price. I'm even starting to welcome colder weather just so I can enjoy this soup more often! I will absolutely be back.
