Such a fun place....love all the stores to choose from. I really like the spacious bowling alley, we always have a great time when we go bowling . They have a spot fir rollerblading/roller skating that's outside and they play great music. It's nice to go and walk around and just hang out. I will be going again very soon. I love the way the landscape is and I love how it never feels crowded. When I read it was empty I knew it was the place for me. I found things I didn't know I was looking for. The Van's outlet proved to be a success as well as the Reebok outlet and Anna's Linens. We had to keep going to our car because we kept buying so many things. I also went bowling which was fun too. Their bowling alley is pretty hip. Its definitely a hidden gem in the empty mall. I expected no one in the alley, but it was full of kids and families. I definitely wouldn't have gone out of my way to this outlet because I am from San Francisco, Ca, but I was down in the area for my cousins wedding and decided to stop by. I say if you're in the area go for it, but I wouldn't travel 45mins to go there. read more

What a wonderful shopping experience. Their prices are beyond reasonable, and some items can't be found anywhere else. There were bargains, with or without their generous coupons. The sales associates, Carol and Victoria, exceeded all our expectations when it came to exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to help answer any questions we had. Yes.... The Viejas Outlet is one of our favorite places to go shopping, walking around. The Best Customer Services goes to Polo Ralph Lauren Store, Carters and OashKosh... some other stores like Nike, really but really need to improve 100000% their Customer services, put some smiles on those Kids face that work there, they come to talk with you like you have to order a "part in a gigantic car work plan manufacture" come on.... anyway it for sure will make us feel more welcome not only to visit it but to shop as well. I really think also that the reservation NEEDS to spend more money in advertising that place and I totally agree with the previous reviews... is so sad to see that beatiful and great enviroment to disappear as a desert spot. I Love this outlet Nike Clearance store , Charlotte Russo , Guess/Gap , Carter's stores only. They have very super awesome deals and nice selection of clothing and shoes. The food court is okay I Guess. The normal American fast food places you will see off the freeway. It would be a Super Great Outlet if they would improve there food court with more exotic foods and add more higher end retailers that are appealing to women and teens Fashion shops. (Kate Spade, Gucci, Forever 21 , Fredrick of Hollywood, etc.) Other then that in the evening there is a water show that is cool but I think it would be even better if their was a live band performing at the same time. That would be cool. The outlet is a nice place to go if you do not want to deal with all the traffic of a larger mall. It is peaceful and they do have a very nice Nike shoe selection. Like 4real...4real! When I have my children with me. I come to this outlet and release them into the outlet...Lol it is that small too. read more

These outlets are way out in the cuts. The ambiance and store selection are decent. It has very outdoorsy theme with plenty of water fixtures and statues of wildlife. Some of the outlets include: Levis, PacSun, Ralph Lauren, Coach, and Vans. My favorite outlet here is the Nike Clearance Store. Often times I leave with 4 or 5 new pairs of kicks. The prices can't be beat. read more

This outlet gives me mixed feelings. The mall itself is nicely designed: it has animal statues, a fountain of water for kids/adults to play in, and also a convenient casino across the street for adults to go to. The other feelings come from the fact that the stores at this outlet don't have much (of what I looked at). It isn't comparable to the Las Americas Outlet but if you're headed in this direction, give this place and try to see for yourself. I just didn't find much. Most of the items here are labeled "liquidated" and "last items" which is a total turn off especially when some items say "CROSSFIT COMPETITION 2012" in large print on a nice Nike sweater, lol. It's super hot here too so bring a bottle of water while shopping! read more

I didn't come here expecting big designer stores so I was not disappointed. There is not a lot of stores but do have some main ones like Nike, Converse, Gap, Polo etc. They are the factory clearance stores. We ended up racking up quite a bit of merchandise at a very big discount (50% off). There is also a bowling alley (with a couple of pool tables) and a kids arcade which if you are looking to gamble, kids have somewhere to be occupied for a while. There is also a roller rink and a water show area. Tip: make sure you pick up the coupons from the information/service center before you start shopping. Additional discounts offered on top of in-store discounts. We got 25% off on Luggage at Wilsons and an additional $25 off $250+ spent at Polo (this is on top of the 50% discount off store-wide). read more

This place ain't what it used to be. This place used to be jammed packed and now nary a soul was to be found. The economy must have hit this place hard. Half the stores I enjoyed going to are up and gone and the remaining stores are filled with overpriced crap and a buttload of bored sales associates gathered around like feral cats. read more

I haven't been here in years, which I wouldn't say is a bad thing. The positives is that there are decent, but not great, stores here. It's located across the street from the Viejas casino. So, if you're really dying to drop a wad of cash and didn't do it at the outlet, you can mosey on over to the casino and "spend" for all your heart's desire. I also think during Christmas they have a water show or some kind of outdoor show. I haven't seen it, but being outdoors and shopping during Christmastime are things I enjoy. The major negative is that it's out in Alpine. If it didn't take you long enough to get to the freeway exit, it will seem like a lifetime seeing civilization. Once you've been to Las Americas or Carlsbad Premium Outlets, you'll have no desire to come here unless you like buffets and listen to casino "music." read more

drove all the way from Murrieta CA to ice skate and the rink was closed even though their online calendar said it would be open, the employees were rude and didn't acknowledge any of the many concerns people had about the rink and just stated it was "beyond their conditions" no one seems to even be trying to open the rink. Considering I've drove cross county and up and down both the west & east coast I've been to TONS of outlet centers and to be completely honest... the best thing about this one was the way it is set up. All of the little waterfalls and man made ponds throughout the outlets really adds character and a nice feel BUT we don't go to outlets to enjoy the scenery! We go to shop! Worst thing about this place... it was so difficult to navigate! My friend and I went here yesterday and we couldn't figure out where we had been and how we got there to save our lives! Sure 2 lines of stores is somewhat boring and not really aesthetically pleasing but you can still tell where you're going & coming from! Although the man made scenery within the outlet is nice to look at it just crowds the entire outlet and it's overwhelming when you're trying to find your way around. Nice things about the stores: the Nike store seemed to have pretty decent prices, there were tons of nice shoes from $29.97-$39.97 & they had basically clearance priced workout clothes including mens basketball shorts for $14.99 & womens workout shirts and tank tops from $9.99-$14.99. The Coach Outlet had decent prices as well, most of the purses were 30% off and when you walked in the door they were handing out additional 30% off coupons (all Coach outlets hand these out every weekend) but regardless, it still brings the prices down considerably. Unfortunately this Coach Outlet store is pretty small and the variety was somewhat underwhelming, the Coach Outlet in San Ysidro is definitely bigger and offers way more variety. However, I will admit my friend and I were pleasantly surprised to find a Rue 21 here. Rue 21 isn't an expensive brand or even well known but they do have some cute cheap stuff that's good for just throwing on & this was the first Rue 21 we've came across in California. The bad things: Dress Barn.... I'm not sure who would buy clothing from anywhere that has the word "barn" in its name. Famous Footwear had lame variety and was over priced, $25 for extremely dirty white wedges? Gross! Levi store was some how still disappointing even though we weren't really expecting much, at this point we were just wandering. Gap was over priced, Guess was over priced... not really the kind of deals you want to find at an outlet store especially when you're coming from San Diego (80 miles round trip!) My advice... save your gas money and head to the San Ysidro Outlets, bigger stores, larger variety, & typically they have pretty good deals. read more

Meh...this review is specifically for the outlets, not the casino which I have had a rip roaring good time at several times...and that buffet...i mean...its worth it for the all ya can drink alone! But anywhoo...yeah not too impressed with the outlet shops...not many shops I particularly like. Probably the BEST deal would be the nike outlet store. Me and my boyfriend have both found really good deals there. Other than that I guess the stores are just not my taste and rarely have that great of a selection. But...if you like those shops than you would probably like it. Just a taste thing I think. I do however enjoy grabbing a bag of the kettle corn every time that they cook up in at one of the kiosks. read more

I've been meaning to leave a review for a while since last October to be exact. I just want to say a huge thank you to the employees in the arcade center for making my sons 4 year birthday party so special! They were extremely nice and made him feel so special! They even helped us clean up and they had the tables all set up for us when we got there. My new favorite place! Although it is a bit out of the way for us, about 2 hrs drive to San Diego County, but it was worth it! I was impressed by the interactive fountain, where my kids played at. By nighttime, they have a water show, with lights and music to accompany the water fountain; very impressive! The shops are ok, not the higher end shops you might see at other outlets, but overall, it still has some shops for your basic needs: Gap, Polo, Pac Sun, Carter's etc. I hope they add a few more stores in the near future. The food court is decent. There is also a Fun Zone/Arcade for the kids and a bowling alley! Lots to do for a nice weekend with the family. This place is quite small, but very clean and well maintained. Very impressed and will definitely be coming here more! read more

Love this place don't get me wrong!!!! Love coming here with my kids and watch the water show and enjoy the arcade. But there's something that needs to change and yes it's worth the 3 stars. The smoking in the food court where the water show is located. Me and the kids always smell that stuff. It's disgusting and that's the last thing you want to smell when eating a nice family meal. Tonight I had that experience happen again. Some guy sat next to our table smoking a cigar while we are trying to enjoy our kfc on a Saturday night. First & last time to viejas outlets today. like the previous review mentioned it seemed like every other store had gone out of business. it was a nice peaceful walk around the outlets. all stores are air conditioned so that's a plus. the stores that were there had pretty good sales/prices but not enough to go back. if your gonna make the drive better off going to san ysidro or carlsbad. read more

This mall has really gone down hill. Upon visiting and looking for a restroom I was told it was down by Oshkosh. I got over to that area and couldn't find it, there were no obvious signs pointing me in the direction of a restroom. As this is a low traffic area, I walked into oshkosh and was greeted by very kind employees. Apperantly not being able to locate the restroom in this area is a common problem for shoppers. The nice lady at Oshkosh, after seeing my frustration, walked me down and showed me where the restroom was. Signs really need to be posted over in this area giving better directions to restrooms, shops and food court. This helps us elderly people who can't walk far distances looking for someone to ask. read more

Absolutely the worst mini-golf I have ever played. The entire course lacks imagination from the get go. It is completely uninspired and every hole looks to have been made with being as cheap as possible as the ultimate goal. The gravel from the ground between the "holes" is too easily picked up and placed on the cheap as all else carpet that the holes are comprised of which makes it nearly impossible to hit the ball straight as it will inevitably hit a rock and veer off. At $8/person, $6 for children, it is also not even a bargain. If you want mini golf in san diego, stick to boomers. They may not take the best care of their facilities, but at least they are clean enough and showed some imagination and inspiration when they were initially built. read more

I have found countless deals at this outlet. I don't *get* reviewers that give bad reviews for nothing other than the lack of crowds. Personally, I believe lack of crowds is a PLUS!!. The landscaping is peaceful and shopping here is a leisurely delight. I have never left empty-handed. My favorite stores are Tommy Hilfiger, Eddie Bauer, Chico's, Ralph Lauren, Gap, and Dress Barn. Sometimes Levis has something for me as well as Nike. Even Kitchen collection has some great deals on refurbished kitchen aide appliances. read more

It is a very small selection of stores compared to most outlets. It is very pretty to walk around though. The people that work in Charlotte Rouse are very rude! The choices for eating are very limited as well, and the parking was kind of crazy even though I was there at 11 am. read more

So we went here in preparation for a new school year (Saturday labor day weekend). I did not feel the selection was as good as the Carlsbad or San Ysidro outlets. We went into the Nike store and OMG the lines were ridiculous (and it wasn't even black friday!). Some people mentioned they had been in line for 40 minutes and I believed them. Be aware when shopping during holiday season. They did have a good selection of items. Overall the facility is very clean, with fountains provide a sense of serentiy. read more

I like coming to this outlet. Parking isn't too bad, the Nike store is by far the best of the other outlets. They have a good selection of stores and eateries. They hold events sometimes and for adults, the casino is across the street. The bathrooms could use some updating. read more

3.5 stars, nice shopping center, bathrooms are very clean, lots of water fountains so it's nice and serene. My g/f scored out at the Coach outlet so she was quite happy. If you're walking around in the later hours of the day, the concerts start up right in the middle of the mall which provide for some nice music to go about your shopping errands too. It's not something I would go out of my way for, but it's a nice place to take a Sunday drive too and walk around enjoying some different scenery of San Diego's further reaching territory. read more

Viejas Outlet Mall is a cool looking mall with all the rivers, waterfalls, and life size statues of the local wildlife. But in less you live in Alpine or somewhere in the back country the deals aren't really worth the drive all the way up to Alpine. Also we stopped at a vending machine to get a soda and noticed that there were rat droppings in hole where you get your soda from so who knows what's going on inside that thing. read more

This was my second visit to the Outlet mall, the last visit was 4 years ago. I really enjoy the peaceful, outdoorsy atmosphere with the streams and waterfalls. So many shops to choose from for clothing, shoes, etc. There are just a few eating options such as KFC and pretzels. Viejas is ok. The landscaping is nice, but there aren't many stores. It's family friendly; I saw lots of strollers and kids running around and eating popcorn. I doubt I'll be back any time soon since the other outlets around the area have more stores and merchandise. But each of the stores I visited were pretty organized, so that's a plus. read more

I went shopping at this outlet center on a saturday it was not as busy as I expected it to be for a saturday. The restrooms are hard to find because they look like the front of a store. There is a huge water fountain which my lil ones loved by the food court. They also pop fresh kettle corn, a plus. Other than those 2 things I was a little bit bored. The nike store seemed to be a huge hit and I think all the people visiting were in there it was packed like a can of sardines. I did end up buying board shorts at pac sun, the staff there was nice and helpful. Not really looking forward on going back to this outlet because they don't have many stores I am interested in. read more

pros...nice place to get away for a while. some cool shops but a lot of not so cool shops, well at least for me. do like the nike shoe outlet, and the gap, as well as the eddie bauer one too. good stuff, and all at some discount prices. best to look all the way in the back of the store. nice little waterfalls and even some good snacking places too. not too crowded either. cons...this place is really far away. kept thinking that i had driven too far, but the signs kept saying, no stupid 8 miles more. and uphill at that. glad i'm not walking. the drive is not a fun and curvy as going to barona. read more

This place is sadly but truly going south. I mean really, all the good stores are gone & not worth the trip. Why put stores in an outlet that are not normally expensive anyway? I'm looking for high end with a bargain price not average with a bargain price that I can find at Ross. This place sucks now, go to Las Americas instead in San Ysidro. I gave them an extra star ONLY for their landscape/atmosphere which feels like you are in somekind of exotic land somewhere far far away. There's always good deals going on here! Half price or more than half off. I went to Guess and the cashier even handed me a coupon for more discounts! Beautiful Landscaping, Fresh Kettle Corn, and soo festive during Christmas season. So many reasons why I like this place, but what I don't like is how the stores close.
