Full plate of biscuits and gravy

10 dollars for one of the best full plate of biscuits and gravy that this young chap has ever tasted. Places like this are what Waffle House tries to emulate but can never quite capture.

This is an extremely convenient place to grab a bite in the morning, on the way to the ski hill. The dining room is small, so plan to arrive early for seating. They also make orders to go. The staff is very friendly & communicative. I ordered the McKenzie Scrambler - a delicious layered combo of bisquits, scrambled eggs, a healthy layer of sausage gravy, and a couple sausage links on the side. Definitely gave me plenty of energy for a full day on the slopes! Plenty of parking out front, and conveniently located across the highway from the town gas pump.

Small family owned eatery on the Path of the McKenzie River! Food is always fresh and made to order. Service is always pleasant and prompt. I never leave hungry. My fave go to for biscuits and gravy!

Best food I've found in a 20 mile area! The chicken friend steak is the best I've had in years. Plenty of bacon in the California omelette and that Bloody Mary was very friendly. Kelley's service is the BEST around. My favorite hometown restaurant that serves up love all day long. When I come back from being out of town, it's the first place I want to eat. Thanks to you too Brian!! I look forward to someday trying your lunch menu!

Absolutely loved this small but very cozy cafe in the Town of Vida. Stopped here for a quick breakfast with my wife and our 1yr old and had a great time. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious (Veggie omelette)- overall a really good experience. Definitely recommend if you are passing by Vida or are in the Springfield, OR area.

This was a trip to the Sweet Home, Oregon area to hike McDowell Creek Falls. (Highly recommend the falls hike). On our way, we stopped at The Point, just outside of Sweet Home. Not much to look at from the outside and kind of a diner atmosphere inside. Somewhere, I read you had a "view" to the water. As you can see from the picture, it's a view (sort of) to Foster Reservoir. OK. However, the food and service were surprisingly good! I ordered the special of the day, a Chipotle Burger. Cooked perfectly with 1/3 lb local beef patty, bacon, chipotle sauce, lettuce, red onion and accompanied by some very good fries. My wife had the grilled cheese and it was awesome as well. Her only complaint was it had too much bacon. Yes, you heard that right, too much bacon. I also have been trying NA beers and the only brand I have found I like is Deschutes out of Bend. They had a Golden that I hadn't heard of and it was, in true Deschutes fashion, very good. Our server was Becky and she was amazing. She greets the regulars by name, was very helpful and informative, but not too chatty. If we were in this area again, we would definitely go back. Without hesitation. Great find!

But most of them is floppy under the top layer Umami chicken wings: more of a sweet spicy flavor. Kinda like buffalo mix sweet-spicy sauce. Not my preferred flavor Bread is huge and warm Clam chowder is hot and heart warming Pork bucco: very big chunk of pork shank. Super tender and a bit smoky. Pesto Flavor is simple but effective. Maine Lobster and jumbo prawn fettuccine: surprisingly a whole tail of lobster and several big shrimp. Unfortunately the lobster is way over cooked. Feels like I'm eating rubber and stuck in my teeth. Flavor is good though. Very creamy. Marianberry cobbler: warm and sweetsour flavor. Pretty dense and good amount. Waitress is very nice and helpful.

It was very busy when we walked in, but the wait was short. We were starving and didn't want to wait for a table, so we sat at the bar instead. Best decision ever. The service was incredible. The girls were so sweet, Casey is amazing! and the hostess was incredibly accommodating. The food was hands down the best breakfast my husband and I have ever had. If you haven't been here yet, you absolutely need to try it, you won't be sorry. The only regret you'll have is not coming in sooner. Even the coffee was fire!

I had never been to this side of Albany before, so it was great. Heads up for those of you that have never been here, there is parking on the street, or some parking lots I believe. It's an older building with character. It was really busy, but they fit us right in. I don't quite remember everything on the menu, I do remember they had a wide variety of breakfast, and lunch. There were some salads calling my name, but ultimately there was a French dip that won me over. I must say, I am happy with my choice. It was very flavorful, and I also added a cup of chili. I would recommend both. Service was fast, and the staff were all really nice. Sorry, I didn't get any pics. I was too excited to see my family.
