I had a fully operable dryer before he came out.... he then told me it would be $600 to fix and I told him no way. I paid the $99 service fee, which later was refunded after 2 days of back and forth. They actually defended what he did. Here are the photos. Don't trust this service. Now I have to buy a new $1000 set because he couldnt remove a simple button. Just be a human being and give it what it wants. Vladimir is the owner of the business. He was my Referal Steve was my technician. Steve had to go get a $60 plastic part the cost for them to come out is $125. My total bill was 185. It took a day and a half because of having to get parts I had a chance to clean all the parts so that when my machine was reassembled, it didn't have 12 years of dog and human grossness, it truly wasn't that bad but still. I will call these guys again and again less is more if you have older stuff it was built better than the new stuff that's on the market appliance wise again this was a washer. I would trust they would do fine with a high-quality oven range or dishwasher. Yep, I'll use them again. Cheers five stars.

Super quick. Super efficient and effective communication. Let's face it. We're all busy. I don't necessarily have the luxury of stopping what I'm doing in the middle of the day or stepping away from my desk to make a call. It's much easier to respond via email or text and I suspect that's the case for most busy individuals these days. They called me ahead of time to let me know Chris was on his way to get my appliances fixed. Our Maytag washer was rockin' & rollin' even with the lightest of wash loads & our dryer has no power at all. After a quick diagnostic test, Chris has everything all figured out. It took him a couple of hours (including time he had to obtain parts) but he got our washer & dryer all fixed up! Repair cost was on par with just about any other repair network in the Valley with far better communication. Not fun paying this stuff out of pocket but still considerably less expensive than a new washer & dryer. I would not hesitate at all to recommend Appliance Works to my friends, family or fellow Yelp'ers!

I called another company for a 2nd opinion and he told me that the fridge is still under warranty for parts only. I would still pay the labor. These more expensive builtin units have better warranties than stand alone units. So I called customer service at frigidaire and they got someone out right away and ordered the parts. They explained that I will only be paying for labor to install the new parts, which will have their own warranty and I agreed. I saved about $3,000 NOT using Appliance Works. They've lost a property manager with several properties under management now.

But I guess Yelp puts out the call to anyone that's willing to contact you, as well. His phone rang within moments of the request, and the man on the other end of the phone had a deep voice and a Russian accent and said that he could be here (in East Mesa) right away. When Igor arrived, I expected a much shorter, darker, hairier man (Like the MMA fighters Hubby watches on TV.) than he is! Young, tall and polite... and bearing gifts! (A large totally yummy chocolate, caramel, almond candy bar!) He quickly assessed the situation (a blown heating element) and gave us a fair price - he even had the part in the truck! We are in a rental, and the dryer is 20 years old. He asked us no less than three times if we were certain the we wanted to replace it, as opposed to fixing the dryer - he was concerned that this might be the first of multiple repairs on such an old unit. But we were told by the owner to have it fixed. The amount of dust and lint inside of the dryer cabinet was astounding, but Igor carefully cleaned all of it out... and then realized that the unit is so old that the part he had on hand would not work unless he adjusted it, but he felt that it was too dangerous, and asked us if he could order the correct part and come back the next day - at our convenience. He wouldn't even take a partial payment, and told us to wait until the repair was complete to pay. He came back and completed the repair, and also took a look at a mini fridge that wasn't working and a 20 year old gas range that we'd also had difficulty with. Bottom line - don't let the thick accent dissuade you! Igor knows his stuff and is fast, dependable and clean! The load of laundry that I couldn't get dry is now drying in record time, and I'm so grateful! Thank you, Igor!!!

Also, suggested cleaning the back of the dryer for any excess lint that might need cleaning. I agreed because I was hoping it would solve the issue. unfortunately, it didn't make a difference. Looking back, I would've rather have saved the money and applied it towards a new dryer. Overall, my experience was just okay since it didn't solve the dryer issue. I would not use them again in the future.
