Rating this a one, been 3x since opening. This last time was horrific. The older hostess or mgr ignores us, so we finally ask a server if we can just take a table. Drink glass still dirty, not polished, fried food bland, no seasoning, but oil fryer hasnt been changed so you get that extra black crud on the food. When entrees delivered the server had no clue. Food slid on the plate and he took a knife from the table and slid it back to the center then put it down. My friends entree was served half off the table and the server used his pelvis to slide the plate to him!! WTF. This place needs to get its act together. You have alot of work to do. Train your staff and fire the lazy ones, clean the place up, be hospitable, and make an effort to care about cooking quality food. read more

wonderful!!!! we recently moved here so decided to give this a shot. i don't get the low reviews! we had caesar to start- excellent, fresh, dressing was super tasty and the croutons were absolutely delicious! We also had chicken parm. Also fantastic/ a large portion with a lovely fresh tomato sauce- not sweet/ just fresh tomato flavor! we loved it! our waitress as Raya? She was super sweet and very attentive. one complaint- no bread served with meal but i probably didn't need it anyway! we'll be back!!! read more

This restaurant is way overpriced for what you get. Service is not great nor is the food. No early bird specials or incentives. Seems their biggest mission is to grab as much cash as they can as fast as they can. Not a good experience. Yesterday we had our anniversary lunch and the food was very good. We had crab cakes, beer, Ketel one Martinis, fisherman platters, Eggplant Rollanti, and cannolis. When we arrived by LYFT and entered the restaurant we were greeted by the host who was very pleasant. We were given menus and started with drinks, Ketel one Martinis and beer. The Our server was awesome as were the drinks, beer, and the Martini. , Perfect choice for a drink. We were brought rolls that were warm but didn't eat them because there are too filling when you have appetizers coming also because they were white rolls,( not wheat)Crab cakes and rollatini arrived piping hot, as did the crab cakes. Both were delicious and lots of nice crab were visible. Soon we got our fisherman's platters which were cooked to perfection, not one drop of oil was visible. As a chef for 40yrs, I couldn't have done any better than this myself. My only complaint was that no clams were visible on the seafood platters, which is my favorite seafood item. Went on a recommendation and loved it. The owner, Anna, was a tremendous host. This is authentic Italian fare. The chef is right out of Rome. The calamari was nice and tender and not over breaded. I had the short ribs and it was so good I didn't want to finish it because it'd be done. My wife had the seared scallops with homemade parfedelle. She loved it. They had some IPAs and a good selection of beers. The inside bar is pretty big. Can't wait to go there when the outside bar is open. Anna says live music (desperately needed in Quincy) will start up this Wednesday. It's fairly nice atmosphere with the benefit of it being right in the water. Such a great upgrade over the drab Fishbones that was there before. I live in Quincy and avoid Marina Bay restaurants because they're so average and pricey but I'll be back to Victory Point many times again. read more

One of my favorite spots to go to with my girlfriend. Excellent service, competent and friendly waitstaff and of course, a delicious menu for everyone. Went last week on a Friday. Made a reservation and definitely did not need to. The waiter was very nice and polite and did not rush us as all. We had pasta dishes and the bolognese was served over penne and tasted like it was out of a jar. Not the best! Don't get the clam chowder. Worst clams linguine I've ever had. I won't eat here again. The waitress we had was very sweet and great. My boyfriends fish sandwich was good and so was the muscle appetizer. What was definitely a disappointment was the clam chowder, it was the most bland chowder I've ever had.. but the most disappointing was the clams linguine. Linguine with clams is a favorite of mine and I have it often. So I'm not being naive. This was like eating sandy pasta as apparently the chef didn't know how to properly clean the clams. Now I understand I am no chef. I understand clams are gritty sometimes but when you charge me $20 for gritty clams and I will say the sauce served with it was also incredibly bland, with some noodles? No. That plate is $10 at best and I wouldn't even pay $10 for that. And apparently the management and chef refused to take money off my bill I barely ate half of the dish. It was just so unappetizing after seeing what I assume was just butter at the bottom with dirt from the clams. I just wanted to get out of there. What am I trying to say here? Abandon hope all ye who enter here... Our party of five sitting for a 730 dinner or unable to order several items on the menu because they were out of them. after expressing our displeasure the owner came over and introduced himself and with an attitude that said you are serving me and I am doing you a favor told us that it was too bad that they only served fresh ingredients and when they ran out they just ran out. The hanger steak, ordered medium rare, was medium well done but the other dishes were palatable . The owner did attempt to redeem himself by providing two desserts on the house and that was a very nice gesture. But as a resident of the Marina Bay community I don't think I will ever set foot in Victoria Point again. read more

So far so good for this new restaurant at the marina. Nice views and outside seating are a big plus. Or meals were tasty, drinks not skimpy and the staff were great. As with any new establishment they need to work out the kinks but are well on the way. Our only complaint was that the lighting was way too bright at night, Some candles at the tables and bar would help a great deal as well We have deserted the restaurant at the other end of the boardwalk as the "new chef" gutted their menu and replaced all of the popular items with unpopular items. Victory Point has a great opportunity to pick up all of the displaced customers so don't mess it up! read more

My husband and I ate here last night. It was pretty empty when we got there but quickly filled up. Our server was super friendly an made good suggestions. I had stuffed haddock it was really good. Hubby had lamb stuffed ravioli, he said they were tasty. For desert we had tiramisu, it was warm and sooooo delicious . A friend and I went last night. I think they switched outside hostesses on us while we were waiting for a long time after being quoted a 15 minute wait time. I'm pretty sure we were skipped over. Eventually we were seated inside after having to ask the new hostess. While inside we ordered drinks the waitress we had didn't know if they had the whiskey I like the inside host over heard us talking he then named off every bourbon they had I was very impressed. Then we got out appetizers my friend ordered the chowder is came out almost all water hardly any potato or clam. The inside host saw the chowders apologized and took it off the bill. I worked in the service industry for 13 this inside host did not stand still once. He was continually busing tables, doing side work, seating people, interacting with customers , checking on orders, brining water. He ran circles around the rest of the staff. Food was just not good. I love sitting outside when the weather is nice so was really hoping food would match the setting. But both drinks and food were subpar. Got the lava cake for dessert - dry and glaze on top was rubbery tasting almost. Got sangria. The fruit it came with is a single small thin slice of orange on the glass. We were sat at a high top inside next to the bar and no server came up to us for 15 minutes even when I tried to get their attention they blew right past us. Our first time in Marina Bay, we wanted a delicious Italian/seafood meal. We sat at the marina. Staff was polite. We order Shrimp Scampi each plate $24.00. What a disappointment!!! The pasta was undercooked. It tasted watery and unflavored - no garlic, no salt- but buttery. If they tried to give us al dente pasta,they should have left the pasta more time to boil. The pasta was stuck in our teeth because it was haft-raw. In addition, shrimps were okay, but lack of flavor. read more

We had a great meal at the Victory Point yesterday. We had many dishes and they all were great. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The view of the marina is so beautiful. The oysters from Martha's Vineyard were the best I ever had. The arancini made with saffron risotto through me back to Italy. The steak was perfect medium rare, and the lobster roll is just great. We visited Victory Point late on a Friday night. It was nice enough to sit outside and were asked where we would rather sit. We chose to sit at an outside table overlooking the marina. There was a small bar and about 15 tables along the boardwalk. The atomosphere was inviting. The servers were friendly and informed us that the restaurant had only been open a week under new management. We had mussels and burrata as appetizers and each were big enough to share. They both tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered the lobster roll and it had a nice light dressing, not the usual heavy mayonaise. The desserts looked outstanding, but we decided on homemade raspberry sorbet. It was to die for! If in the area, give Victory Point Marina Bay a try. I think you wll happy you did! read more

So good! The seafood cioppino was out of this world. Comes with warm toasted baguette slices for dipping in to the delicious broth. We sat at the bar and had great conversation with the bartenders. Very warm and friendly place. Super casual too. read more

Enjoyed Brunch at Victoria Point on Sunday. It was a rainy day so it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait. The food was delicious and their home fries were perfect. Our server, Fran, was very friendly and attentive. She gave us some great drink recommendations and encouraged us to try the chef's pastries, which were very good! Location is great! I bet in the warm weather it will be nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. Food was over seasoned and served in giant bowls that are unnecessary. Beer and wine menu needs work. If someone orders a Guinness, they expect it on draft, not in a can and the server didn't mention this. A suggestion would be to update your menu to split drafts/bottles. Wine - no Sauvignon Blanc from Marlboro? As far as decor inside, it seemed over crowded with tables. The lighting in the dining area was lacking - maybe add some pendants over the booths or turn down the bright overhead lights. The walls are stark and need something to soften them up. The time we went there weren't a lot of patrons in the dining room but the bar was packed. It was extremely loud and we couldn't hear ourselves talking. We been trying to give them a chance since they turned over ownership. Bartender turnover should tell you something, the ones who keep injecting themselves into our conversation. I was there for an early dinner on 6-18, what a S@#% show. The 6 regulars 2 inebriated yelling back and fourth complaining about Kenno numbers. My main dish came out before my oysters (which were good), but my cod was as thin as paper deep fried (need to change the old oil from fryer) it was tasteless. Inside was empty outside look busy, (seems this is what is keeping them afloat) but the milling around of wait staff and younger kids as runners, the look just isn't what you want to see in a business. The food was ok although inconsistent. Risotto has no flavor. I'll go again because the location is fantastic for a summer evening, dinner by the water.
