I wanted to move to daily contacts from the monthly that I was using. she examined me and prescribed some new contacts. after wearing them I was unable to see distant and close up was very large. i called that Monday i was only able to discuss with a associate. she prescribed a new set again slightly better but still off told them distance was fine but wanted a read add. in the middle of what they gave me. the said it didn't exist I said okay then I research and there is a mid add call them back and they said they also discovered this. dr pate gives me another trial with the mid add reading great except she raised the distance -25 I was like what for distance was good so I trust and try after two days of trying my distance at the end of day was so bad and blurry . I called back finally they say they will have the Dr call me the next day great I finally get a call at 2:19 in the afternoon I am working and miss no big deal I get a chance to call back at 430 she is gone for the day it's Wednesday and won't be in till next week. I was surprised at the level of disrespect Dr. Dale Anderson showed me. He does not care about you as a patient, and he became incredibly rude and hostile when you advocate for yourself. Stay very far away. To make a long story short, my first exam was $228.69 because they charge all of these different fees for non-dilation, contact fitting fees, etc. I don't mind paying that the first time (even though none of it is disclosed ahead of time), but they got my vision completely wrong in my right eye, and I had to call them multiple times to get it updated as I was getting headaches from having one eye wrong. They are incredibly stingy with their trial contacts and gave me one pair to try. That one pair was too dry and uncomfortable. I called to see if I could try a different trial pair, and they were rude and reluctant. I actually had to go online and order a box of 30 contacts at full price to "try out" because my eye doctor would not help me. Think about that for a second. So then, I go in again today, and I have never seen more disrespect from a doctor in my life. I'm talking about visibly angry with you and hostile. He walks in and rudely says "pick one" and told me he would not let me try any more contacts. He then says "you have tried three types; if those don't work with your eyes, nothing will." Are you joking? I could not believe how unprofessional he was. Your job is to assist me in attaining better vision, and you are going to be that rude and unhelpful. He also said some other things that I will not list online. That being said, I have been to other eye doctors that assist you in the process and want you to have the most comfortable vision experience. I have actually been to an eye doctor in a third world country for a vision issue that was nicer than this doctor. Thomas Eye Group is disrespectful and spits in your face. I will never set foot in this practice again and will be reporting them to the BBB and other third-party sites.

I've called multiple times, and each time I was told someone would return my call--but no one ever did. They also refused to let me or my insurance company speak with anyone in management to help resolve the issue. On the day of my visit, the financial office staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked them repeatedly to contact my insurance provider to verify my coverage, and they flat-out refused. At first, they tried to charge me $150 out of pocket without checking any of my insurance details. I continued to ask them to verify the charge with my insurance, and only then did they suddenly lower the fee to $45--without explanation. This experience was unacceptable, and I do not recommend this office to anyone who values honest communication, transparency, or basic customer service.

We were fortunate to find a 2 bedroom and kitche area so we changed The second bedroom to a nice comfortable living room that has a door that leads out to a private patio. This is not cheap but after losing my father at the previous place these final years with mom I think will be comfortable here at Arbor Terrace. We came here after her brain surgery and she's had five strokes in the last two years and other injuries but no cancer and no dementia. I travel a lot but I'm with her at least three days a week and she's very demanding on the staff and me which is just her personality, but she's the love of my life and caring for her is my first priority I can't be prouder of the facilities here from the directors to the kitchen staff the medical staff all of the daily caregivers that works so hard to make everyone here as comfortable as they can be. I don't know how they do it. Everybody goes through various changes and illnesses in the later age but they manage it well. I thought I would write this during the pandemic as it's important to know that this location best that I can tell practices extreme safety, restricts entry from outsiders, are getting meals to everybody on time or three times a day every day, and dealing with family trying to see their loved ones who they haven't seen in over a month. There's many people to thank thank you all for the job you do the heroes that you are the care that you give to those we can't be with every day. Highly recommend!

After two discouraging and frustrating consultations with other dentists and oral surgeons, we talked to Dr Vancil. He was so kind and compassionate and thoroughly explained the issues ave the procedure he would perform. The procedure ended up being far more intense and difficult than originally anticipated because of the depth of the roots of my sons teeth so Dr Vancil was not able to extract any of the teeth but he instead had to cut out each individual tooth! He made my son feel as comfortable as possible and able to withstand the procedure. ! We are beyond thankful for his expertise and compassion and how he handled every aspect of this whole process! Dr Vancil is the best dentist and we highly recommend him whether you need routine dentistry or have major issues like my son did. His staff is also excellent and represent him so well. This office seems far more focused on upselling high-cost procedures than actually addressing patients' concerns. What started as what I was told would be around a $200 cleaning somehow turned into almost $2,000 in charges, yet my actual dental problem remained unresolved. When I attempted to resolve this professionally and privately, they only offered a $300 refund, which doesn't come close to addressing the situation. After I requested a more reasonable resolution, they stopped responding entirely and ignored further communication. And before the office replies to this review trying to defend themselves or blame "lack of maintenance," understand this: the issue was on the SAME side and SAME area that I originally complained about from the beginning. I even returned for a follow-up visit after the procedure because the work was not properly completed the first time. Patients deserve honest diagnoses, proper treatment, and transparent billing -- not aggressive upselling, unresolved problems, and silence when concerns are raised. Our experience over several years has been inconsistent. Sometimes it's great, other times it's…read moresubpar. Lately we've experienced more of the latter and, as a result, will try a different provider next year. Eye exams have always been patient, thorough, and accurate. Last year, the Doctor became mildly irritated with my wife raising concerns about a box of problematic contacts affecting our daughter, as if the issue did not exist. We decided it may be a fluke and came back this year. This year, my son and I have had several problems with eyeglasses we ordered. I asked for Trivex and the best anti-reflective coat available, but we received polycarbonate, Cristal Rock AR on mine, and Cristal Easy Pro AR on my son's. However, my son's lenses have a blue hue in the reflection and Easy Pro should look green (see pic). Additionally, my invoice listed DuraVision Platinum, which would have a blue hue and green is clearly visible in the picture. We did not receive certificates of authenticity for Transitions or Crizal, which both companies say should've been included. It took just over 3 weeks to receive my glasses. Our insurance was blamed, but I would have gladly paid full price and filed a claim directly with them. Instead, no updates were provided and, once I inquired 10 days later, they ordered them after seemingly forgetting. I asked at that time to cancel my order, but they refused. Since receiving the incorrect lenses, I asked to have them replaced, but they again refused.
