WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I am absolutely furious with the treatment my daughter received from Dr. Jang and the front office staff at Pearle Vision. What was supposed to be a routine eye exam turned into an ongoing nightmare that stretched across five separate trips, 3 incorrect prescriptions, and 3 separate orders of contacts needing to be purchased due to THEIR error, negligence, gross incompetence and a complete disregard for patient input. Despite my daughter clearly stating that her previous prescription worked well, Dr. Jang dismissed her concerns outright and insisted on a new prescription -- one that ended up being identical for both eyes, which has never been the case before. She was argumentative, condescending, and refused to even let my daughter try her previous prescription again for comparison. This wasn't a one-time mistake -- it happened FOUR different times, with no accountability or effort to truly listen. The incorrect prescriptions worsened her vision, caused eye strain, double vision, and made her cross-eyed while driving -- a terrifying and dangerous experience. Not only was her day-to-day life disrupted, but she was also left unable to function normally while waiting for each correction attempt to be made. She had to endure blurry vision, black spots, and the added discomfort of contacts that made everything worse. To make matters worse, the strain from all of this triggered severe migraines, which were especially dangerous and debilitating due to a concussion she suffered last November. The careless negligence of Dr. Jang and the unwarranted dismissive rudeness of the front office staff showed throughout this ordeal put my daughter's health and safety at serious risk. We have been loyal customers of Pearle Vision for years -- spending thousands of dollars and even bringing all of our children here. But this experience has completely shattered our trust. We expected professional, compassionate care, and instead got negligence and arrogance. Absolutely unacceptable, horrendous customer service and victim blaming. If you value your vision, TIME, and hard-earned MONEY, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I absolutely do not recommend doing business with this or any Pearl Vision ever! However, I do strongly recommend reading the other reviews as well. Long story short the older Indian guy that works there (not sure what is role is) refused to honor the return policy printed on their paperwork. I came back a week after picking up the glasses (picked up April 19 came back on April 27) to return them for a full refund. I was told by another young lady that I could return them but only for the first pair. Within a span of a few minutes the older Indian guy walks up and asked if I needed help since the young lady was off helping another customer. I told him that I wanted to return the glasses for a refund. He immediately tells me no, we don't do returns. I said, well I was told that you do. He asks who told you this? I pointed to the young lady and he then says no we don't and then proceeded to haggle with me about exchanging them and kept changing the terms. So instead of returning for a full refund he offered to have me spend more money on another pair of glasses but at a discounted price which he kept changing. I had had enough so I got up walked out. I would still like my refund Pearl Vision. Call me when you are ready to do right by your customer and honor your return policy, you have my number. read more

Decided to order contacts through an affiliate of our insurance. They faxed Pearl to get a confirmation of the prescription. After 2 days, there was no response from Pearl's so I asked them what fax number they used (& it was the one on the prescription). I called Pearl to confirm the number and they informed me that it was different from the one on the prescription. The woman I spoke with at Pearls was not apologetic, seemed indifferent and said she would "mention" it to the manager. Yeah, right! read more

I scheduled an appointment 2 days before our visit. We were able to get in at 10am for an eye exam. They already had all my insurance benefits pulled up. The wait was short. They quickly went through eye exam. Prior to eye exam my son had already had a chance to look at the styles for glasses. With his prescription in hand we visited the retail portion of the store. We walked through all the options for his lens and we were all wrapped up. I was able to use my HSA for the out of pocket. We have eye med insurance and it's great that they accept it. Our insurance saved us more than half the cost. The glasses will not be in for probably 5 days so that is a bummer, but at leas he was able to get what he wanted. Friendly prompt service. read more

My husband received glasses that he was unable to see with. They refused to re-do the glasses, they insisted that he needs to wear them to get used to them. He could not see, so how could he wear them? I proceeded to do a credit card dispute and they asked to have their glasses back. When I went it to return them they had a very bad attitude because they said we didn't do the right thing. Well, they were not willing to work with us, I have credit card protection. While I was trying to explain that, the front desk worker told me to zip it (even did the gesture!) or she could not help me. I asked if she thought this is a correct way to treat a client and she just shrugged. I told her that not only did she loose my husband as a client, but also my son and myself. She said - that's OK! I will not be returning to this location. I wish I had read the reviews before making my appointment. The eye exam is the ONLY reason this place is getting two stars. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and kind. No pressure during the exam and completed it promptly. When it came time to look at frames I have never felt such pressure from a sales person. Before I left WITHOUT picking a frame I kindly asked for my pupillary distance. Immediately I was shot down and was told it was ILLEGAL for them to give me this information. I was shocked! Please review your eye care options before selecting this privately owned Pearle Vision location. We were offered every available option, (even when some lens options were not simultaneously compatible), just to be handed eyeglasses missing the transition lenses we were told we would be getting, and they led us to believe we paid for during the initial order. They were less than helpful on getting this resolved, and felt they should charge an additional $65.00 when we returned to have the transition option applied to the lenses though it was their (lack of associate training) mistake all along. Not a big deal really, or even a lot of money, but to reflect the customer service for such a large company, not very good. read more

My daughter had her glasses broken at school and knowing most companies don't have express service where you can get a complete set in the same day I googled same day eye glasses. Nikki answered the phone and told me they may have some lenses depending on my daughters prescription so we popped in. Fayaz tried his best to find a solution for us but due to my daughters astigmatism I had to purchase a frame.luckily they had the same frame that was broken and they popped the lenses in so she could at least see until her lenses with the new prescription came in. Anita was very helpful as well. I'm thankful for the kind voice on the phone (Nikki) and friendly associates (Fayaz and Anita)that went the extra mile to help. I have been going to this specific outlet in this location for years. I have always been able to try on as many frames as I needed to make a decision and have spent a lot of money over the years. however, I went in recently for my yearly eye exam and to purchase glasses afterwards.....and I see they still have requirements to wear a mask to enter. At a time when most business have dropped that requirement and flying no longer requires it, they still remain. I had to go back to my car to retrieve my mask...once entering I see that they have but ONE seat in the OPEN waiting area for the exam, so any more than one person will have to stand. As I was sitting I see signs that not only do they make you wear a mask, but they are limiting the number of frames you can try on. I asked the gentleman behind the counter about it and he made excuses, with every excuse I had a counter. When I asked if it was a corporate decision or local, he said local. At that point, I decided to get my exam, because I just love the optometrist there, and buy my glasses elsewhere. they have sadly lost a good repeat customer. read more

After years of great service and different Dr everytime I went. I had an exam a few months ago and ordered my custom contacts maybe a month later I needed to read off my drivers license number and couldn't see it! I was told few year's ago i will need readers. Well the time came! So I called in and the person answered the phone saw i just had an appointment and suggested maybe I need bifocal contacts or something. I said no I just ordered my contacts. Maybe try glasses! Have you seen my prescription? Thats not an option per the last Dr I saw there. Maybe! I saw are you a Dr? She said no! I said can you please make my appointment and stop giving me advise I didn't ask for! Then she says I'm just trying to help you! Then she yelled you want the appointment or not? I said excuse me? She slammed the phone down! I called Pearle Corporate and they claimed to never gotten a return call from this location. But some how I got a letter a few weeks ago my records were hacked some how. I've never left a negative review before, but after having the run around I'd like to save some others the trouble. My eye was mildly irritated when I went to renew my contacts RX. I was told they couldn't give me an accurate RX (before even trying) because of the irritation. I was prescribed eye drops, and told to return in 6 days. Well sure enough I simply needed a fresh pair of contacts as I had informed the doctor, because the very same day my eyes were completely back to normal after replacing my contacts with the pair given to me, no expensive eye drops necessary. So I still have to wait 6 days, unable to order any more contacts without my RX. I returned to get my prescription, and decide to try on a few glasses in store after the exam. Don't care for any of them and they are all WAY more than I've payed for glasses online. So I thanked the clerks and left with my prescriptions, all was well. Until I tried to order glasses online with my new prescription that I just payed $70 for, only to find NO pupil distance listed. I called them, sure it was a mistake, but was told they only include PD if I buy glasses through them. Never, ever in my life has this been the case. Don't waste your time! read more

The eye exam was great however the issues started once it was time to select glasses for both my wife and daughter. There was a big misunderstanding around what type of glasses my wife ordered. One pair for $700 is outrageous but they did get it corrected. My daughter received her glasses no problem but when she broke them I ask for the prescription with the PD. They gave me the prescription but refused to give me the PD for measuring from center of pupil to the other eye. I was told that it is illegal to give the measurements but when I researched I found that this company didn't war to give the PD because people go online and order glasses 60-70% off of what they can offer. We paid for this information and I expected to receive it. I would not recommend using this location. read more
