After going to the same eye doctor for years for both my annual eye exams and my kids' yearly…read moreappointments, I was disappointed to learn they no longer accepted my children's vision insurance. Last year was the first time I had to find a new eye care provider. Unfortunately, that experience wasn't a good one. It felt like everything revolved around making extra money. When one of my kids' glasses broke, I was told I would have to pay out of pocket even though the glasses were supposed to be covered under warranty. It made me question what the warranty was actually for. This year, I decided not to go back. After doing some research, I chose EyeBelieve Eyecare & Optical because it's close to my home, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our visit. The office was clean, there was plenty of parking, and the exam equipment was modern and up to date. The doctor gave each of us a thorough eye exam and took the time to clearly explain my oldest daughter's eye condition. She has been interested in trying contact lenses, and I really appreciated that they offered her a trial fitting to determine whether contacts would be a good option for her. At our previous eye doctor, we were told we would need to schedule a separate contact lens exam that would have cost over $200. It was refreshing to find a practice that genuinely focuses on helping patients instead of looking for ways to charge for every additional service. My youngest daughter needs special glasses, and the doctor carefully explained the different types of bifocals available and helped us understand which option would work best for her. I appreciated that they took the time to answer our questions instead of rushing us through the appointment. The selection of glasses covered by our insurance was excellent, with plenty of stylish, high-quality frames to choose from. Unlike our previous office, the frames didn't feel cheap or flimsy. I also love my own glasses--they're incredibly lightweight and flexible, so I barely notice I'm wearing them. They don't put any pressure behind my ears, making them comfortable enough to wear all day, especially since I spend most of my workday on the computer. We were told our glasses would be ready in about two weeks, but they actually arrived sooner than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I haven't had to use the warranty yet, and I hope I won't need to if my kids can avoid breaking or losing their glasses this year. If I do end up needing it, I'll be sure to update my review with that experience as well. Overall, we had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the doctor was knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and never made us feel rushed/pressured. It was refreshing to find an office that truly puts patients first rather than trying to upsell unnecessary services. We definitely plan to continue bringing our family here, and I highly recommend EyeBelieve Eyecare & Optical to anyone looking for honest, professional, and compassionate eye care.

That's 2 weeks. Well we patiently waited those 2 weeks and called to check on the status of the glasses. We were told they were not ready and could not be given any type of update. Instead of apologizing for not producing the product in the given amount of time I was argued with about the quote of time given to me initially. Customer Service is a big part of every industry and unfortunately this place stinks. We are still waiting on our glasses. That means it's going on 3 weeks that my child has been going to school unable to be at her best because of her vision. Crazy...

Not very happy with the service I received today. I received a text that the reading glasses I…read morepicked up were ready. So i went during my lunch period to grab them. At the front desk, they asked me to put them on and everything was blurry at about a distance of 1 foot from my face. Additionally, I tried looking at my phone and it looked distorted in my hand, like it was bending. While waiting the 2 weeks to pick up the glasses I tried a pair of over the counter readers with the same script and had no issues. The only reason I went with these was because the Dr told me it accounted for an astigmatism. I let them know that I was unable to see properly and they took the glasses back to check. When the lady came back, she said, the prescription is what the Dr prescribed. I explained the issues with them and she seemed to blow me off. She said that I would have to be retested. I explained that I can only do appointments on the weekend due to the lack of timing requesting time off as this is not considered an emergency situation. Unfortunately the soonest appointment is April 20th. She scheduled me and said nothing. There was awkwardness at the counter and I asked, did you schedule me. She said yes. So I guess I was done since she said nothing and I left. It was a level of rudeness that I have rarely seen in a customer service oriented business. At no time did they express any concern or care that this mistake is quite inconvenient. They weren't pleasant, apologetic or sympathetic. Mistakes with orders happen, what upset me was the lack of customer service by the front desk staff. They truly deserve to be sacked. In fact, I spoke to the gentleman who helped me order them, who no longer works there and he mentioned that my experience isn't uncommon with the front desk staff. In fact he said the two woman at the front desk were part of the reason he left the company. I will try to resolve the issue with this company but ultimately, I have very little faith. If I have too, I will take the frames and go elsewhere and end up paying out of pocket for a new exam and lenses. I will update this post based on the resolution. UPDATE: I went today to pick up the pair of glasses to give it a few days of letting my eyes adjust to see if they work out. I checked google and yelp to see what time they were open. I get here and they are closed and it's, "by appointment only". Yelp even stated that the hours were updated a month ago. This place is absolutely garbage. It needs new management or shut down. The last 6 months of reviews are horrendous. They can't get their hours correct online and their front desk staff are like the mean girls club. Once I pick up the glasses I'm done. I will encourage everyone I know never to give this company business.

The offices are nice…read more However, if you are trying to make glasses or sunglasses that are perhaps not the most straightforward - like aviators with a high base curve, their lab seems to struggle with craftsmanship in making them. I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

What really stood out to me was the variety. Whether you're into fashion, sneakers, home décor, pop culture collectibles, or just window shopping, this mall has it all. Even after nearly two hours of walking, I'm pretty sure I only covered about half of it. There's just so much to explore that it's impossible to take it all in during one visit.
