I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

Dr. Flores's secretary was able to get us an appointment the following week and she was really awesome and very professional. My kids were able to see Dr. Flores and let me tell you, this guy is really cool. Dr. Flores absolutely loves what he does and it shows. He explains everything in great detail, has a sense of humor, educates you as he goes step through step, and answers all of your questions. Something that could be a scary experience for a child, he makes it as fun of an experience as he can. Dr. Flores does not use tropicamide either to dilate your pupils, which is wonderful, as they use a new device that does not require it. This is important, as you can leave the office and not have to worry about having your eyes hurting by the sunlight. His office uses an Optomap device, this digitally scans the retina, is non-invasive, and takes only seconds to complete. A thorough eye exam here is $100 as of 2022 and that does include the prescription. For anyone who needs an eye exam, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Flores. As for buying lenses and glasses, all of those are sold through Costco's, not Dr. Flores as he is independent and does not work for Costco's eye department. If you need lenses/glasses I would highly recommend going to Lilburn Family EyeCare and seeing Optician Troy Weber, he is the best in the area and will make sure your lens is the exact same as your prescription. I was told that if my prescription had changed to come into WalMart within 30 days & they would change the lens. Since prescription was a few months old when I went to WalMart I made an appt with Dr. Segal & was given a thorough screening/exam and found that changes had occurred. I have never felt rushed by anyone there. I am patient b/c I am at a place where I know they all provide excellent care. Dr. Segal was very thorough as usual & concerned about the changes. He clearly tells me what he sees & I ask questions & get answers. Yes, it is a very busy office, but just like a restaurant if there are very few people every time one goes it causes one to wonder. Comprende vous? He referred me to a neuro-ophthalmologist and said this & more, "She is a distance, but very good." I responded that the distance does not matter as long as she is very good. I am so thankful for an excellent physician after having one who did not own up to what had occurred with surgery and wasting my time going to Emory's "eye clinic" far too long. As usual, I read the neurologist's reviews. I was concerned; and as often is the case, there were very good ones and very not-so-good ones. As I reviewed each review carefully, I noticed there were issues raised that should not have been regarded in evaluating the doctor or the practice. I called Dr. Wiener's office and Jane answered the phone. She was extremely nice, helpful, and even shared some other important information with me when I mentioned Medicare. There had been a few negative comments about Jane as well. I am looking forward to seeing Dr. Weiner in a couple of weeks.

Yes I got my glasses the same day but even after being reexamined by them I wasn't happy with my vision! I found Dr Mark Gottlieb by luck! I say luck because I just happened to go into his old office and told them what happened. They had a cancelation and I was able to get right in! The first major change I noticed was Dr. Gottlieb spent at least 4-5 times as much time examining me as the other big co Dr. Did The real difference was my prescription change and my vision improvement Wow! ( Happy Dance) Since then I have sent lits of friends and coworkers! The best example of why you should try Dr Mark A. Gottlieb, I referred a Coworker & friend Don E. He also noticed a big change and has since moved to Pensacola Florida But he still travels 6 + hours to still see Dr Mark A. Gottlieb because he has had no luck in finding the quality of Dr and the care and effort he puts into his patients. One last note I heard a patient that was here that had seen other Eye Doctors and the emergency room about an issue they were having Dr Gottlieb quickly diagnosed the problem that needed to be urgently addressed! Bottom line try him!
