My son went there and they treated him very well. Very helpful, kind and competent. And the prices were very reasonable.

The optometrist is horrible - I don't remember his name but he is of short stature with brown…read morehair/eyes. He spent less than 2 minutes examining my eyes and didn't seem to care of my concerns of managing my severe myopia. He also kept looking at his computer to monitor football games scoring which is unnerving for me as his patient. My glasses took forever to come as they blamed my insurance for delaying the manufacturing of the lenses but I was not able to get into contact with my insurance nor were they so that was frustrating. The glasses then came with more than a month delay and the lenses were coke bottle lenses though I paid extra for high index. The staff there tried to blame it on the frames which is odd to me as I've had frames of similar design and the lenses were never as thick as the one they made. A second order of glasses was made with a delay AGAIN and the lenses still came out the same. I then decided do order contact lenses instead and they were nice to offer extra lenses to apologize for the past delays and mistakes so three stars for them. If I could rate the optometrist himself, I would give him a 0. Your eyes are important. Find an optometrist who thinks the same

My husband broke his glasses so we requested to get a new one at the same day. She did make it. In addition. I like their doctor. He is very nice and careful to new patients. He explained a lot to us when my husband wore a new pair. He even checked if it is too tight for my husband 's head. This is the most wonderful experience we ever had with eye wear stores. We will definitely go to it next year.

The offices are nice…read more However, if you are trying to make glasses or sunglasses that are perhaps not the most straightforward - like aviators with a high base curve, their lab seems to struggle with craftsmanship in making them. I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

Not very happy with the service I received today. I received a text that the reading glasses I…read morepicked up were ready. So i went during my lunch period to grab them. At the front desk, they asked me to put them on and everything was blurry at about a distance of 1 foot from my face. Additionally, I tried looking at my phone and it looked distorted in my hand, like it was bending. While waiting the 2 weeks to pick up the glasses I tried a pair of over the counter readers with the same script and had no issues. The only reason I went with these was because the Dr told me it accounted for an astigmatism. I let them know that I was unable to see properly and they took the glasses back to check. When the lady came back, she said, the prescription is what the Dr prescribed. I explained the issues with them and she seemed to blow me off. She said that I would have to be retested. I explained that I can only do appointments on the weekend due to the lack of timing requesting time off as this is not considered an emergency situation. Unfortunately the soonest appointment is April 20th. She scheduled me and said nothing. There was awkwardness at the counter and I asked, did you schedule me. She said yes. So I guess I was done since she said nothing and I left. It was a level of rudeness that I have rarely seen in a customer service oriented business. At no time did they express any concern or care that this mistake is quite inconvenient. They weren't pleasant, apologetic or sympathetic. Mistakes with orders happen, what upset me was the lack of customer service by the front desk staff. They truly deserve to be sacked. In fact, I spoke to the gentleman who helped me order them, who no longer works there and he mentioned that my experience isn't uncommon with the front desk staff. In fact he said the two woman at the front desk were part of the reason he left the company. I will try to resolve the issue with this company but ultimately, I have very little faith. If I have too, I will take the frames and go elsewhere and end up paying out of pocket for a new exam and lenses. I will update this post based on the resolution. UPDATE: I went today to pick up the pair of glasses to give it a few days of letting my eyes adjust to see if they work out. I checked google and yelp to see what time they were open. I get here and they are closed and it's, "by appointment only". Yelp even stated that the hours were updated a month ago. This place is absolutely garbage. It needs new management or shut down. The last 6 months of reviews are horrendous. They can't get their hours correct online and their front desk staff are like the mean girls club. Once I pick up the glasses I'm done. I will encourage everyone I know never to give this company business.

Just read a few recent posts in this thread. Look at Google reviews…read more We are First appointment of the day 9:00 am. After 45 minutes, we still have not been called back. Also, no explanation was provided when asked why the delay. Business has recently transferred ownership and the service is noticeably deteriorating. UPDATE 7/18/23 The office just called me threatening legal action for publishing the photo of employees in a public area. No apology, just more attitude, as described by many reviews below. They hung up on me when I tried to discuss my experience with them. Follow up to post below. We left after no explanation or apology. But After a quick virtual visit online, that Doctor called in a prescription within 5 minutes to our local pharmacy. At first I felt inconvenienced by thinking about finding a new practice after coming here for over 20 years. Now, with the current customer service and the convenience of telemedicine, I wouldn't be surprised if this management team doesn't make it here. I must say that Dr. Christensen is phenomenal. He has always been fantastic.
