I've been going to Briggs for the last 7 years. They are super friendly, prompt and have a great…read moreselection of frames. One of the biggest things I'd say is their philosophy of eyecare first. My wife had a pair of glasses from an optician in another city. After examining her, Dr. Brice told her that she no longer needed glasses. Most opticians would keep her in glasses to sell her a new pair of frames - not Dr. Brice and Briggs. Great folks to work with!

The doctors are great and the staff is generally courteous. The offices are nice…read more However, if you are trying to make glasses or sunglasses that are perhaps not the most straightforward - like aviators with a high base curve, their lab seems to struggle with craftsmanship in making them. I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

I waited until I received my glasses before writing this review because I wanted to rate my…read moreexperience from beginning to end. Made an appointment online & got a call back saying they didn't take my insurance. So I used my husband's & the Rep was very helpful & called me back to confirm that PVI took it based on the info I provided. The exam was extremely thorough. I answered all questions they had & was presently surprised that Dr.Nim pointed out a few things she could tell I was dealing with. She noticed I had dry eye & allergies. She recommended some over-the-counter drops & so far so good. Mind you I went to another Optometrist less than 6 months ago & none of this was pointed out. I can tell she cares about what she does & is very knowledgeable. I even found out about something that could help my child with their eyesight & he wasn't there at the time. I didn't feel rushed & everyone who works there is pleasant & attentive. When looking at glasses I was advised of the amount my insurance covered & given prices for add-ons & recommendations. So no surprises at all. The only thing that may turn people off is they do not have a large selection of glasses but I found some that work for me! One of the best exams I've ever had & I've been wearing glasses since I was 12 y/o.

Dr. Flores's secretary was able to get us an appointment the following week and she was really awesome and very professional. My kids were able to see Dr. Flores and let me tell you, this guy is really cool. Dr. Flores absolutely loves what he does and it shows. He explains everything in great detail, has a sense of humor, educates you as he goes step through step, and answers all of your questions. Something that could be a scary experience for a child, he makes it as fun of an experience as he can. Dr. Flores does not use tropicamide either to dilate your pupils, which is wonderful, as they use a new device that does not require it. This is important, as you can leave the office and not have to worry about having your eyes hurting by the sunlight. His office uses an Optomap device, this digitally scans the retina, is non-invasive, and takes only seconds to complete. A thorough eye exam here is $100 as of 2022 and that does include the prescription. For anyone who needs an eye exam, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Flores. As for buying lenses and glasses, all of those are sold through Costco's, not Dr. Flores as he is independent and does not work for Costco's eye department. If you need lenses/glasses I would highly recommend going to Lilburn Family EyeCare and seeing Optician Troy Weber, he is the best in the area and will make sure your lens is the exact same as your prescription. Yes I got my glasses the same day but even after being reexamined by them I wasn't happy with my vision! I found Dr Mark Gottlieb by luck! I say luck because I just happened to go into his old office and told them what happened. They had a cancelation and I was able to get right in! The first major change I noticed was Dr. Gottlieb spent at least 4-5 times as much time examining me as the other big co Dr. Did The real difference was my prescription change and my vision improvement Wow! ( Happy Dance) Since then I have sent lits of friends and coworkers! The best example of why you should try Dr Mark A. Gottlieb, I referred a Coworker & friend Don E. He also noticed a big change and has since moved to Pensacola Florida But he still travels 6 + hours to still see Dr Mark A. Gottlieb because he has had no luck in finding the quality of Dr and the care and effort he puts into his patients. One last note I heard a patient that was here that had seen other Eye Doctors and the emergency room about an issue they were having Dr Gottlieb quickly diagnosed the problem that needed to be urgently addressed! Bottom line try him!

This would be a five star review except for the time wasted filling out BS paperwork for reasons unknown. And forget attempting to contact corporate, no one picks up the phone. My best to all the folks at Clarkson, which was much better when it was a private entity, walk in, see the doc, pay on your way out, kiss (keep it simple stupid) theory in practice.
