Best eye doctor's office EVER! My family has always dreaded going to the eye doctor, but ever since we started going to Dr. Forster's office my daughter has been excited to say hi to the staff and have her eyes checked. Everyone that interacts with her is very patient. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Bobby, who helps with eyeglasses, is very knowledgeable and always super polite and a pleasure to work with. Our insurance is handled perfectly and we always know exactly how much we'll need to pay. Questions are answered thoroughly. Dr. Forster is hilarious but more importantly we are never kept waiting. We are seen at our appointment time and we never wait longer than a minute to see him once we're in the room sitting in the chair. This office values their patients time, the first office I've ever been to of its kind. We will continue being patients here, I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

My husband and I have known Dr. Mark for many years. Eye appointments are almost looked forward to in that we know there will be a smile, a very knowledgeable staff and a great Dr. waiting to help us out with whatever the need may be. Dr. Mark is very thorough, will answer whatever questions you may have and will advise you on preventative care as well. As for the staff....OMG he has the best there is. This place made me uncomfortable. The lady upfront was pleasant but then it got weird when I was led in. The Latino assistant tried her best to be professional but there was something lacking in her demeanor. I shook it off and waited for the doctor. Dr Forster came and he was nice enough but then I ask him about eyeliner and if there's something in it I should avoid or a specific kind to get since it'll sometimes make my eyes burn. He said "well I'd have to ask the female doctor here since I'm not a woman." Hmm.. ok .. I was asking you because you're an ophthalmologist, you know, a doctor for eyes, but ok. I shook that off and asked him about my photosensitivity. He said "well that's usually in fair, Nordic looking people with blue eyes, and I can't really tell bc of your mask, but I'm sure you're DEFINITELY not that." Felt weird after that one. The way he even said it made me wanna slap him and leave. Kept my cool, got my eyes dilated, then got the heck outta there. While I was checking out there was a tall white woman in scrubs, I think one of the assistants, who just stood there and looked me up and down in a strange way. Don't know her, never talked to her, not sure what her problem was. This whole office is like the twilight zone. Haven't been back since and won't be. Looking for a new ophthalmologist. read more

Highly recommended! I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment you walk in, the staff are engaging, courteous and professional. I made an appointment online, so, checking in was easy... I got in at my appointed time... The exam was quick and painless, largely because this office has lots of cutting edge technology that streamlines the process.. once I met with Dr. Mark, he was extremely personable and accommodating.. he patiently went over my exam results with me, and answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease... I never felt rushed or pressured... to be in I exam, it was a remarkably pleasant experience... Then, when it came time to pick the frames, the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Forster and his staff are the best I have ever dealt with in the 30+ years that I have wore glasses and contacts. From the time I walk in the door to the time I leave I feel as if I am the most important person there. The staff is always above and beyond with friendliness and kindliness, and the doctor is always extremely polite and nice and explains everything that I have questions about. The sales staff is incredibly knowledgeable and is not over pushy with added extras that could make my total bill to high. I can't see myself going to any one else. read more

What a wonderful place. I came here to get a pair of glasses and I got that and much more for my son. You see, he hates wearing glasses cause he is uptight but we got him a pair and some great advice to go along with it. I was notified by my sons school that my little man needs glasses. I called this location this morning and said that I needed to come in by the end of the day to get an exam for my son and get him glasses. The woman in the phone (wish I knew her name) Nicely said "no problem!! Come on in and bring your insurance info we will get you set up". I pick up my son from school in a rush get over there. Un load my children from the car... Going in excited to have this off of my todo list. I woman with short brown hair and glasses seemed to be caught off guard and and kept trying to get my information to make me an appointment. I told her that I had called early today and I was here for an exam and to order glasses not to make an appointment that I could have done that over the phone and saved the 20 minute drive. She said no exaggeration 6 different times "we don't take walk ins only appointments" then proceeded to tell me that they wouldn't be seeing me today and "definitely not for an exam". She also said "we've all worked here long enough to know the procedure" another words... I am making this phone call up?! The way she said it and repeating herself was very VERY UN WELCOMING. I will take my business some where else. To a place where I feel welcomed and not shut down due to false information I was given over the phone. Trust me I wouldn't have waisted my time had they been informational over the phone. Owning a business myself I am appalled at this experience. I am happy I learned this before hand and not after they took my money. I hope the owner or management sees this. My visit was on 8/23 at 4:35. read more

I am new to the area and selected Forster Eye Care because they accept VSP insurance, are located about 6 miles from my house, and had an informative web site with great reviews online. Dr. Forster and his staff were wonderful! I am happy to have found my new optometrist and am extremely satisfied with their service. The office staff and doctors care about their patients and go above and beyond to ensure that your experience is pleasant and effective, have extended hours (early and late) and are supportive after the exam and glasses are delivered. Can't tell you how many times my son damaged his glasses and they were there to help put them together again and we even used the warranty for a whole new pair! My wife and I have been using Dr. Forster for many years and are still using his office even after moving several hours away. At our recent visit we were taken back quickly with no waiting once taken back. My time is important so not waiting around at any appointment is huge to me. For our last two yearly appointments we have brought our now two year old boy and the staff is awesome about helping to keep him happy and get our appointment completed quickly. They also have a children's play room in the waiting room which is great while waiting to be taken back. read more

I started seeing Dr. Forster when I first began "adulting" in 2005. I have been wearing glasses since I was 8, and my vision changed so quickly that by the time I was 16, my vision had regressed so badly that my eye doctor then recommended RGP contact lenses when I was ready to nix my glasses. So, from 16-23, I wore RGP lenses, and I hated them. I hated the cost. I hated the care. So...when I chose Dr. Forster as my optometrist in 2005, he was the first doctor to tell me I could switch into soft lenses! Woo hoo! Dr. Forster is great, and his staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I recently saw Dr. Herron and had a wonderful visit with her as well. I always enjoy my visits at Forster Eyecare and will surely be bringing my kids to see him soon! read more

My experience with Dr. Miranda for a basic eye exam was acceptable. However, I felt she was dismissive of some of my concerns, so I had decided to try Dr. Forster for my next exam. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this practice. When I called in December of 2019 to request a six-month supply of contacts on my current prescription, they refused. When I authorized a third party to verify my prescription so they could sell me the contacts, Dr. Miranda's staff again refused to verify my prescription because it was "too close to the expiration date." After much arguing with Ms. Wollwine, the office manager, and threatening to report Dr. Miranda for violating FTC laws, she finally agreed to verify my current prescription so I could purchase contacts. This was by far the worst, most disrespectful, and insulting treatment I have ever received from a medical office. I never write reviews for anything, but this was one exceptionally terrible experience. read more

Had a wonderful and very pleasant experience with this clinic. The staff and doctor are very nice and accommodating. The facility is very clean and nice. The staff and doctor who examined me were all wonderful and did an excellent job of examining my eyes. The doctor who examined me did a good job in finding the right prescription for my eyes. She explained well the changes she did on the new prescription and was right because the eyeglasses I ordered was the best eyeglasses I had in a long time. I am not happy at all. The sign said it closed at 5 and i went in with my daughter at 4:50. 2 minutes later they practically kicked us out. The guy there said im sorry come back tomorrow. as soon as we left, she runs out and drives away. They defiantly won't be getting any money from me anymore. read more
