First time visiting Sugarloaf Mills and all I can say is -- wow. This place is massive. I haven't been to a mall this large or lively in quite some time. From the moment I walked in, it felt like there was something for everyone -- clothing stores, specialty shops, attractions, and more food options than I could count. What really stood out to me was the variety. Whether you're into fashion, sneakers, home décor, pop culture collectibles, or just window shopping, this mall has it all. Even after nearly two hours of walking, I'm pretty sure I only covered about half of it. There's just so much to explore that it's impossible to take it all in during one visit. The food court was another pleasant surprise. It's clean, spacious, and full of options -- from quick bites to hearty meals. Everything looked fresh, smelled amazing, and there was plenty of seating even during busy hours. Parking was easy, the atmosphere felt safe, and the place was well-maintained overall. Between the sheer size, the variety of stores, and the energy of the space, Sugarloaf Mills really delivers that "mall experience" that's become rare these days. I'm already planning a return trip so I can take my time and see everything in its entirety. The place definitely did not disappoint. read more

This Mall is nice and has lots of fun stores. We come to this mall at least once a month since it is far from where we live. Yesterday my child asked to get on the Carousel that is located in the food court. Let me just say the guy working there needs to speak louder and not be so rude. He doesn't communicate very well. He was so rude that I was ready to just get my money back but my little was so happy I ignored it. Also 6$ for a one minute ride is really not worth it. Not sure if he stopped it early because this man and baby needed to get off but I felt cheated out right when we got off he went running to a break. Anyways the mall is great and has a lot to do. read more

My friends wanted to go shopping, so we drove up to Sugarloff Mills to check out a couple stores. I'm not from GA anymore, but when I did live in GA, I never went to this particular shopping mall because it was too far away from me. When we drove into the mall, we noticed the sign looked like a credit card, which tells me the mall has been around for quite a long time. When we went inside, it was definitely an old shopping mall. The ambiance was busy and hectic with off colors and huge variety of shops. The food court was huge and had a decent selection of ships from what I could see. Depending on where you shopped, you can get a good value on products depending on the price you pay. All in all, it is just like any other shopping mall. Nothing special or ordinary. If you like to shop and get good sales, you can find them at Sugarloff Mills. Nothing else really to say. read more

Quick mall run not all the time because it's always crowded here especially on a holiday especially on the weekend especially when kids is out of school. Just be prepared. The parking lot is always crowded. It's hard to find parking here most of the times and don't let them medieval times have an event going on because you definitely won't have any parking. Lots of good fines at this mall though. I definitely recommend to try it out if you live in the area or if you're in town visiting the outskirts of Atlanta. read more

I bought this device in one of the businesses placed in the corridors of this Mall ... I think their business name is Ifix ( its what says on receipt) I paid almost the doble for this piece of junk and NOT EVEN A CABLE TO charge the portable wireless charger.... I lost my money and MY TRUST ON this " pirates " in the mall . They don't exchange, return or take any responsibility for their junk ,! Lesson learned.... Sugarloaf Mills is an standard mall with a circular layout! It has multiple small stores located in and outside of the establishment. There is Cafe Amico, Vans, AMC, Dave & Busters and even Medieval Times (main attraction in my opinion). Although some reviewers of this place can find more to be desired from Sugarloaf, to me, it is an overall decent mall to shop around in! There is a lot of soon to come shops which keeps Sugarloaf alive. However a lot of shops have limited supplies due to Sugarloaf's constant foot traffic and popularity. read more

There is a lot to do from bowling to gaming to shopping. Parking lot was packed but we still found parking. Every store we shopped in the employees were friendly and made sure that there weren't long lines. I drove around multiple times before finding a parking spot. I was not impressed with the inside of the mall it seemed very old and runned down. Parking is hard to find if you want to park close to the entrance you must arrive early. This mall has a large selection of stores to shop, places to eat, and activities for the entire family. Even though there were a lot of people here, it wasn't crowded. It's really spacious. One thing I noticed was the amount of trash on the floor everywhere I went. There were pieces of tissue, paper, and just trash everywhere. It was inside the mall, inside the stores, and in the parking lot. I enjoyed my day of time with family and friends. The trash was a bit much though. read more

This was one of my favorite malls that I've been to recently. I love the "Mills" style of mall where everything is on one level. You can really get your exercise just walking the length of the shopping center. This mall is super bright and vibrantly colored, decorated with lots of lights and a fun looking carousel at the center of the food court. It's very family friendly with lots of fun to be had by all. Some of the entertainment options include: Dave and Buster's, Medieval Times, Bass Pro Shop (which includes two shooting games inside ranging from 50 cents to $2), a mini golf place, a pottery art shop where you can pick out a piece and decorate it to your liking, AMC theaters, an escape room, and lots of different shops and restaurants. It's a pretty diverse mall with lots of different people and stores to cater to a variety of tastes. Some of my favorite finds of the night: a very clean, well stocked Burlington Coat Factory, a Crocs store with lots of comfortable options for wide/flat feet like mine, the Bass Pro Shop, all of the entertainment choices, a Thai restaurant which I'll try next time, a Sears Outlet with tons of great deals on furniture and appliances, and Wilsons Leather where I saw some really well made coats, gloves, and bags. I really enjoyed my night here starting off at Burlington and walking around through the length of the mall. It was refreshing to see a mall alive and well as it should be, after visiting both North and South DeKalb recently. Simon malls are usually good ones from what I've seen here and elsewhere in the country. I'm excited for a second trip here really soon. read more

They fat shamed my friend because she wanted to try on a junior 3XL!!! She told them she always buys from them and she always gets that size or even smaller! What a huge mall! This mall is more than just shops and eateries. There's a golf course, movie theater, adventure course, Bass Pro Shop, Dave and Busters, Ross, Burlington...etc! Even a medieval times!! Of course your typical mall stores are here as well. You can do more than just shop. It appears even a high school is coming to this mall. It seems it's going to be a GED type program, but either way that's cool. There's even a bunch of fun, not so typical photo booths! It's all on one level, and you can get your steps in. I came to this mall twice so far, and I'm still not even sure I've seen it all. Go spend a day here...you won't regret it. read more

This mall is starting to have Gwinnett Place Vibes. I came this past weekend to visit the Proactiv vending machine and couldn't find the vending machine anywhere!! 2 of the maps in the mall have the location in 2 different areas. 1 map displays the machine across from Off Saks 5th, and another states it's in the Food Court. Sugarloaf Mills is basically a gigantic circle, and I walked the mall in search of Proactive 1.5xs cutting through the food court twice to not find anything!!! There was nobody at the information desk, and nobody even answering general calls for the mall. I was disappointed this is a Simon Mall. I thought there was generally a minimum standard like having somebody at the information desk at LEAST and keeping mall maps and signage up to date. Covid has hit this mall and you can tell. Lots of vacancies with all types of riff/raff stores. The food Court has lots of vacancies and the Neimans has closed. I won't be too hard as the wing of the mall with Saks/Tommy and a few others is descent but the mall needs to figure out what it going to do. I think the mall struggles with its niche because one side of the mall is literally Sugarloaf Area, and the other side is a 180.... There are lots of options for entertainment like AMC, Medieval Times and Dave and Busters. I just want this mall to tighten up. There's still lots of potential but PLEASE have an attitude to at least CARE. read more

It is about 3.5 stars malls. Since it has some specialty stores that can not find at elsewhere, 4 stars was given. I have visited the mall in the mid day. There is not too busy. Parking lot do have good amount of cars. However, the inside of mall is not crowded. This mall has many regular stores that seen in typical mall. I like to express the specialty store that not normally seen. They have the Dave and Buster, Jump Street, Slingshot Speed Way that good for play time and kid baby sit Area. This is very family oriented mall. The Slingshot is a race track along group racing on electric car. The other specialty stores include African Art Gallery, Paris, Rue 21 "plus size", African Hair Braiding. I like the ideal the rue 21 has a plus size that tailor to everyone. The Paris has some nice gowns that fit for all prom dress. read more

It's a good mall. A lot of the restaurants and stores don't open until noon on Sundays, but you can still go in. The AMC movie theater is our favorite go to theater. It's clean and the employees are nice. I like the variety of stores. There are small, one of a kind stores mixed in with chain stores like Hot Topic and Spencer's. There is a Starbucks, Cinnabon, and Auntie Anne's Pretzels for a quick treat. They also have cookie and ice cream shops. It's a nice mall to walk around, until the crowds show up. Best to go early in the afternoon, since people don't know how to behave in public especially with small children. Medieval Times is located here and quite worth a visit. read more

I brought my daughter a dress for a pageant here at this store on 4/15/2023. At the store the petals were coming off the dress. At first I didn't wanna purchase the dress, but my daughter was so hesitant about getting the dress. One of the sales associates said she will have all the petals sewed back on and ask for them to go back and resew the others which wasn't done. I picked the dress up Wednesday thinking everything was good to go. My daughter's pageant was Saturday 4/22. She was going on the stage in front of the pageant judges and the petals were falling off the dress. Soon as my daughter got done performing. I called the store and asked for the manager and I told her about the petals falling off. My daughter hadn't even had the dress on for an hour. She lost points in the pageant because of this. The store manager told me to bring the dress back and they will fix it. I brought the dress back to the store on 4/23. I talk with the owner of the store. She wasn't apologetic at all. Only thing she could offer is to resew the flower petals back on the dress. They should have been sewn on correctly in the beginning. They sold me a faulty dress. No exchange and No refund. I will never shop at this store again read more

Sugarloaf Mills is a large mall with about 180 stores and restaurants including an 18-screen AMC movie theater, Medieval Times, Dave & Buster's, and Bass Pro Shops. Many of the stores are outlets. The mall is located just off I-85 exit 108 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Gwinnett County. For a decade, this mall was known as Discover Mills. Discover's naming rights ended in late 2012 and the mall was renamed Sugarloaf Mills. My first two trips to Sugarloaf Mills didn't actually involve exploring the mall itself. I'd gone to Medieval Times and the AMC movie theater. A trip to the Lego Store was what got me in and exploring the mall. The Lego Store at Sugarloaf Mills is one of only two Lego Stores in metro Atlanta. The other store is at North Point Mall in Alpharetta. The Lego Stores aren't to be confused with LEGOLAND at Phipps Plaza, which is operated by a different company. Sugarloaf Mills immediately reminds me of Dolphin Mall in Miami. Both are massive, sprawling, single-level, suburban outlet and entertainment malls. Dolphin Mall is bigger (240 stores vs. Sugarloaf's 180) and has better brands (e.g. Brooks Brothers and Polo Ralph Lauren). It's a workout just to walk around the entire mall. One thing I like about Sugarloaf Mills is it's not insanely packed. Then again, there aren't many stores or brands here that interest me. Apart from the businesses named above, other large retailers include Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Off 5th by Saks Fifth Avenue, Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, and Sears Fashion Outlet. The food court, located in the very center of the mall, features a carousel ride (just like North Point Mall) for kids and some decent eateries. If you're trying to decide what to eat at the food court, I recommend Hibachi-San Japanese Grill. The teriyaki and spicy honey chicken there is grilled fresh and tastes great. There's also a Starbucks around the corner from the food court. If I was to go outlet shopping in Georgia, I would go to the North Georgia Premium Outlets (up GA 400) or one of the Tanger Outlets (I-85 or I-75) before coming to Sugarloaf Mills because of those outlets' better store selection. If I was to go to a regular mall, I'd go to Lenox Square because of better store selection and it's much closer to me. Since I don't live or work in the area, it would have to take a unique business like Medieval Times or the Lego Store to get me to come up to Sugarloaf Mills. Overall, it's an OK mall for the area. read more

Sugarloaf Mills is the closest mall to where I live so I probably come way too often. It's hard to review a mall like this when its main attraction is just the stores. I've had good a bad experiences overall. Sugarloaf Mills is located at the junction of I-85 and Sugarloaf Parkway. It has about 180+ stores including my usuals and favorites: Burlington, Ross, Adidas, Nike, and Books a Million. This mall also has a huge AMC, a Bass Pro Shops, and Medieval Times. The Food Hall can be kinda boring. I think it needs more options, but there is a Panda Express which I absolutely love. There is also a Shoneys, Burger King, Subway, and a Taco Bell. The parking lot is huge, so no worries. It has about 6 entrances making it easier to just park around where you're actually going. The mall is usually very clean, and the bathrooms are too. I just think it needs a better selection on its stores. If I am not going to any of my favorite stores mentioned before I rather just go to Lenox or Mall of Georgia. ESPAÑOL Sugarloaf Mills es el centro comercial más cercano a donde vivo, por lo que probablemente vengo con demasiada frecuencia. Es difícil revisar un centro comercial como este cuando su principal atractivo son las tiendas. He tenido buenas y malas experiencias en general. Si no voy a ninguna de mis tiendas favoritas mencionadas anteriormente, prefiero ir a Lenox o Mall of Georgia. read more

I appreciate this mall. Its a great place for families with younger children. Here's an idea for you if you have a toddler or a younger one. Take them to the food court, take a ride and in the carousel, its magical for the kids. Get some ice-cream, french fries and take a look around you... the murals are fantastic. I visit this mall when I am in a need for my favorite sushi....Thai diner, and love the fact that once you step out into the mall, just a few steps away is Cold Stone! This mall is always full of people and vendors. I love that, because it shows me that this establishment is doing something right. Ive gone to a couple of malls where you can tell that no care was given...just empty hopes. This establishment have many of my favorite store's. Bath and body works, Burlington, and Ross, just to name a few. I love the massage parlors. Yes, indeed, yes indeed. I will leave the kids with the hubby and have them massage my back. Afterwards I will sneak off and go into a perfume store, so that my husband cant find me. He finds me though. He knows me so well. Anyhow, parking is plentiful here. There has only been one time that I've had difficulties finding a parking spot. I LOVE having vendors in malls. I don't not, like it when they hassle you though. I don't like having an attitude, but sometimes vendors will make you lose your religion. I got my eyebrows done by a vendor. She did it by threading. The whole time, she tried to get me to buy her make up or buy a certificate ( in which im able to come back and get one threading for free.) I kept telling her that I don't wear makeup and I don't get my eyes threaded too often ( it hurts.) But, she kept insisting. Hats when my whole attitude changed and I stopped entertaining her. She ended up waxing near my temples and hairline. Boyyyyy, was i mad. After she finished, I paid and walked away. She was still talking. I had nothing to say. A couple of days later, I had what looked like rug burns on my face. How do you get rug burn from threading? Shoot, I don't know. But, what I do know is that she BET, not better, but BET not stop and ask me, if I want my eyebrows done again. The mall is also very well maintained and clean......besides the bathroom. They need to do some clean up in that bathroom. read more

The Sugarloaf mills mall, formally known as Discovery mall is a pretty decent mall for people who enjoy shopping and like adventure, for they have an escape room, air soft place, Amc movie theatre, Medieval times, Burlington and so many more various popular locations within the mall. I usually come here to visit one of my favorite shopping stores, H&M. Although it doesn't have the most high-end fashion outlet stores compared to other places such as Lennox mall, Overall I still think it's a decent place to go shopping for clothes because the prices are affordable and the mall also has fun attractions, great atmosphere, and location. The mall has at least 180 stores to select from, being one leveled floor; you can really get exercise in by just walking the length of it. This mall is very lively with bright colors and lights photo booths, and vending machines everywhere. It is also family-friendly and it has maps in case you get lost. However, it gets really packed sometimes, especially on weekends. Some popular entertainment places inside the mall include Dave and busters, a mini golf place, a Lego store, AMC theatre where they sell concessions and service is acceptable, an escape room, and a pottery shop where you can pick out a piece and decorate to your liking. Now some popular shops and outlet stores are Burlington which has great pricing, Forever 21, H&M, Ross, Book-a-Million, Pica Pica for the anime fans, and some Ice cream, Boba and concession shops found around every corner, there is a variety of places to have fun and purchase from under one roof. If you get hungry, no worries, there is a food court in the center with a carousel lighting up the place, some of the food options include Subway, Panda express, Shoneys, Taco Bell, Thai and sushi place and so much more places to grab a bite from. I really enjoy spending my afternoons here with some friends, the atmosphere is lively and refreshing in my opinion, it is worth going to. You will find something you like about this place, and find yourself spending some money here and there. To conclude, Sugarloaf mills mall is a decent, relaxed place where most family and friends go to enjoy their days. Although there are some things that could be better about the mall like the front desk service should be more available but other than that it is still an enjoyable experience. read more

In terms of places to take your kids... Discover Mills is ideal. This mall seems to cater to children with many kid friendly activities and places to eat. There is a nice AMC movie theater, Medieval Times dinner show and Dave & Busters for arcade style games and bowling. Sprinkled throughout you will also find unique entertainment like Slot Car racing, neon miniature golf and a huge space loaded with air filled jumpers. Outside the theater are trampolines that tie kids to bungee cords for acrobatic tricks, rope climbing and nearby is a simulated roller coaster and several quarter operated rides. There are photo booths for fun pics and a large carousel in the center of the food court. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, pretzels, cinnamon buns and candy are everywhere along with an array of eateries. You could easily spend several hours here with your children and you may even have a celebrity sighting. I have seen a couple of local TV personalities as well as a member of the female group TLC when her kids were small. On top of kids activities, this is primarily a discount outlet mall, although "discount" must mean something else to these shop owners. Everything still seems to be close to regular price to me, but I'm not really much of a shopper! Lots of shops for the ladies, 20 somethings, kids and even Dads will find several sports shops here including a very large Bass Pro Shop. A family could kill several birds with one stone by spending a day here. Johnny Carino's and Carrabba's are nearby if the food court doesn't suite your tastes. Overall, great mall to spend the day hanging out with the kids. Not the cheapest way to entertain them, but you can't beat indoors air conditioning and a wide variety of things to do that don't involve long lines and overcrowded spaces. read more

I have liked this mall ever since I first visited during halloween season two yrs ago. Went there three days in a row and the mall was pretty crowded each day. Lots of kids trick-or-treating at the mall which was great. Felt very family-oriented at this mall. I stopped here this past february when I came to Atlanta to visit a friend and I still am fond of this mall. Parking isn't as bad as other malls, food court is great (which has a Johnny Rockets), they have a skate park which is cool, the layout of the mall makes it easy to get to any store by cutting through the food court, and they have Medieval Times (which is kind of cheesy but still great entertainment for the kids). read more

One of my Favorite malls to visit. If you live in the city and don't want to drive all the way out there, just take Marta to the Doraville MARTA Train Station and get on 10A or 10B Gwinnett County Transit. The last stop is right in front of the mall. So leave the driving to them. Also a little known fact is that it's approximately a mile around the mall. so if you are five times around the mall you've walked 5 miles. this makes it a wonderful place to exercise when it's raining or cold outside. read more

Eh. This outlet is okay. It's definitely not one of my favorites. The only major pro about this place is that it is indoors. There are some good brands here, but nothing too extravagant. [i.e. Kenneth Cole, Guess, Nike...] At the very least, there are a few good things about this place is how there's a Medieval Times here (since locations are few and far in between) and an AMC theater. Oooh. Dave and Busters is also here... Another reason why this place isn't on the top of my list (other than lacking the brands I like) is because it is overly crowded with too many teenagers. It seems like this is a favorite hangout for them. Overall, this is a 2 1/2 to 3 star place. read more

I'm so pleased with this mall and all it has to offer. If you are looking for an outlet mall with great prices on clothing then you should consider, Discover Mills. There are many different stores to choose from and they offer many different styles. The food court is huge and there is also a carousal that will keep the kiddies happy while you get your shop on! I love taking my kids to the Painted Potter where they can make their own pottery goods. They especially like making mugs and little ornaments. Depending on the days you go parking can be an issue. My first time visiting this mall was today. It's a Simon mall, so I expected a great mixture of stores. Once inside, it was like walking around Concord Mills in NC (right outside Charlotte if you must know). Same. Damn. Setup. Outlet stores? Check. Food court in the middle? Check. Dave & Busters? Check. AMC theater? Check. I could go on, but it'll be boring. Worth checking out. Nice alternative to Mall of GA. read more

Sugarloaf Mills, what use to be called Discover Mills, but I guess sponsorship was up. Overall a clean mall. More so an outlet feel. Think of a circle when you're inside because that's how the layout is. There is an AMC movie theater inside so it's convenient to shop and grab a movie. There is also a Dave and Busters arcade inside as well. Good place to bring your kids and have a drink at the bar. There are many stores here, but I am always 100% I will not find any men clothing. There are a lot of retail stores for females though. I only go to a few when I'm here. Stores like: Nike, Bass Pro Shop, Ross, Scrubs & Beyond, Books-a-million, and Earthbound.
