This place is huge--two floors of sporting goods wonderland with a giant fish tank arch on the first floor! There are tons of Texas and Dallas Cowboys-themed photo ops, a literal Ferris wheel inside the store, and a massive café with food options, beef jerky bar, and tons of fudge and candied nuts. I want to support local businesses. This used to be Run On. Fleet Feet came in…read more As a seasoned runner, I want a local store that can help me fit shoes. I need access to running supplies and accessories as well as running attire. Here are my recent experiences: I came in for shoes and they were understaffed and sent me away. Twice. I came in for running nutrition and they focused on shoe fittings and I had to wait for a few dollar cash purchase. They recently eliminated the discount for being part of the local running club. And they mismanage the national program. That's if you can use it when you are turned away. This is a detriment to the national program which has deadlines on when you can use their loyalty rewards. Being turned away cost me my loyalty rewards. The national program refused to renew them and told me to ask the to comp it. Ugh. So overall, I would like to see Fleet Feet McKinney make some changes that improve the experience.
