    1-Star Review: Old Navy's Outdated & Customer-Hostile Pricing Policy…read more I am beyond disappointed with Old Navy's archaic and frankly pathetic pricing and price-adjustment policies. In 2025, it is ridiculous that a major retailer still refuses to honor their own online prices in-store unless the item is also purchased online. What kind of logic is that? I shopped in-store on Black Friday, assuming I was getting the best deal of the year -- only to find out on Cyber Monday that nearly every item I bought was significantly cheaper online. I could have saved at least 25% more had I purchased online instead of in-store. When I called customer service, I was told they "can't help" and that I had to physically go back to the store for a price adjustment. Who does this in 2025? Fine. I went to the store. Then the cashier tells me I need to bring all the items back just so they can process a return and make me re-buy everything at the online price. How is this remotely customer-friendly? How is this efficient? Why does a customer need to jump through hoops because the company refuses to align in-store and online pricing? Lesson learned: NEVER shop in Old Navy stores. Their in-store prices are almost always higher, and their policies make it incredibly difficult to get a price adjustment. If you must shop at Old Navy, buy online only -- pick up in store if you must. Online purchases offer the best pricing and customer service actually helps you over the phone. Retailers with such outdated, non-customer-centered policies have no one to blame but themselves when they struggle or go out of business. In a world where Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy's, Temu, and Shein are making shopping easier and more convenient, Old Navy is stuck in the past. Do better, Old Navy -- or prepare to be left behind.

For about a year, I participated in aquatic exercises in an indoor pool 2 x week for about an hour each session. I faithfully washed the suit using mild soap right after taking it off and hung it to dry indoors. When I took it back to the store to show them how seriously bad it faded, I was given $20.00. That was an extremely low reimbursement for such an expensive top. I now have (purchased 6 months ago) a black & white striped tankini top I purchased inexpensively from Kohls that is retaining the colors as when first worn. Do not pay exorbitant amounts of money for Lands End swimwear.

My mom is getting married soon, and we're getting our tuxedos from Arzel. Since there's no Arzel in Texas, I was told to go to Jos. A. Bank because they are a sister company. I even called last weekend to confirm I didn't need an appointment and was told I could just walk in. When I arrived, I politely asked Wallis if he could fit me for a tux. His immediate response was, "Are you buying or renting from us?" I explained that we're getting our tuxes through a sister company and that I was instructed to come here. Instead of helping, he told me he couldn't assist me -- but the way he said it was nasty, rude, and completely unnecessary. His attitude was disgusting, and he made it very clear he didn't want to help. The customer service was awful. When I asked for his name and the number for their corporate office, he told me to "look it up." This was an unacceptable experience, and no customer should ever be treated this way. Instead feeling sorry about how their website sales don't price match their in store purchase and causing me to have to go return the in store order, this customer service person made me feel like an annoyance for her to have to do a return. Since I have two same orders in the system. I want to make sure she returns the item to the in store purchase, not the online store purchase where I get the bigger discount. She was so rude and not letting me to ask questions and flat out said she already did the return and no change can be made. That wasn't even my question, my question is which order did she made the return towards. Moreover, after my return is settled, I was shopping around for t shirt, she flat out told her coworker she can't stand me and she's frustrated with me, right in front of me when I'm still in the store. Wow, the audacity and lack of professionalism as a service industry employee! And guess what! After I left the store that day, their store manager actually went on my LinkedIn profile and stalk my profile! My LinkedIn shows she viewed my profile. So out of line. I visited this location manyyyyyy, many months apart, each time hoping the girls who worked there would be at the very least kind. All three times I was not greeted, not asked if I needed help, and there was no amount of kindness shown to me, despite it being my nature to be overly kind to people regardless. My last time in there was a weekday at around 2 or 3 PM. No one else was shopping in the store. I was NOT greeted, not asked if I needed help, I was perceived by the two women working, however, neither acknowledged me by word of mouth in ANY capacity whatsoever for at least 5 minutes, at which point I was the one who had to approach and speak to them to ask for a fitting room with two arms full of heavy clothes. Once in the fitting room, I was never checked on, never helped. I felt super unwelcome and embarrassed all three times at this location and I will never go back. When I left the store I felt as though I was back in high school, and that the two people inside were then gossiping and speaking poorly about me once I could not hear. I honestly cannot say if I've ever had this poor of service at any store I've ever shopped at, ever. I genuinely cannot remember a single other instance worse than this, which is crazy because I really thought the visit to this location many months prior to that would be as bad as it could get. I almost never leave Yelp reviews but I just thought about how I wanted to visit Torrid to find something specifically that I'm looking for, as the last time was at this awful location a few months ago and it just triggered some anger. I really should have reported this or left a review sooner. I know there's no way I'm the only one who has dealt with this at this location based on the reviews I've reas today here. This location is by far the closest to me, but I will be going way out of my way to go to the Firewheel location to avoid the inevitable rudeness (borderline cruelty) and appalling laziness from this specific location's staff.     I went in today as I had some reward dollars that were about to expire. I just wanted to look…read morearound at my leisure as I did not need anything in particular but certainly would have bought something in excess of the reward dollars I had to spend. Upon entering I was promptly greeted and asked if I needed any help (great!). I explained that I just browsing. Unfortunately for the duration of my time in the store I had a new shadow who was either pointing out how the thing I happened to glancing at was on sale, or was lurking within 5 feet waiting to pounce on the next opportunity (not so great). They even pulled out some sports coats and guilted me into trying them on even after I said I was not interested. I love good customer service but good service also means knowing when to give your customer some space. It got so annoying that I decided it was not even worth spending the reward and just left. I do like JAB but do not like the aggravation I get when coming to this location. It has happened to me in the past here. I ended up going to the Frisco location and got great service. Of all things I ended up buying a sports coat! The ability to read your customer and let them naturally come to their own conclusion / buying decision can make all the difference In the result.
