The employee who initially assisted us wasn't particularly welcoming. She told us that since they were closing within the next hour, we could either wait in the store or come back later. We agreed to wait, even though it was Sunday and the store's posted closing time was 8 p.m. After waiting about 15 minutes, we returned to the counter. The employees were laughing amongst themselves, and the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. They didn't clearly explain which items they wanted to purchase. When I declined the offer, they handed the boots back to me and told me the rest of my belongings were around the corner on the floor. The entire interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I understand that retail employees have busy days and that not every interaction has to be overly friendly, but basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected, especially when customers are taking the time to bring in items to sell. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to decide not to return to this location. I've had a much better impression of the Frisco location, where the customer service has felt more professional and welcoming. My advice: save yourself the time and visit another location. These guys will get you the suit you want, not the suit they want to sell you. The store itself is clean and organized, with a simple elegance and not a trace of pretense. The salesperson Mohamed wasted no time greeting me as I entered, and was extremely friendly and helpful, giving his recommendations without trying to derail your train of thought. Apparently his dad owns the small local chain, and it definitely has the feel of a family business without the corporate fog lingering over the shopping experience. He maintained eye contact, repeated what I had told him, and avoided upselling first thing, while still giving his humble recommendation. He compared shades of blue to see what I preferred, and in what might have been a stroke of luck, the first blazer he pulled had the right fit and sleeve length; only the slacks required hemming, but they offered next day pickup. It was practically meant to be! The pricing is very reasonable. The suit, shirt, tie and pocket square came to about 300 dollars. Of course I paid more, I selected French cuffs and couldn't resist the US Navy cufflinks he showed me. They may have options for clearance, I didn't check. But whether you're ballin on a budget, or looking to empty your wallet, they'll happily work with your budget.
