    NA CBD Mocktail
    Shanez S.

We visited for dinner on a Saturday and the inside was packed. Thankfully, they have an enormous heated and covered patio with plenty of space for large groups. The staff were exceptionally warm and I didn't feel rushed while I decided on what I wanted to eat. I was pleasantly surprised by the NA selection on the menu, including a CBD mocktail, served in a mason jar that was crisp and not overly sweet. I also had the vegetarian "chicken" sandwich, which had a delicious spread and slaw on a very light baguette, and a side of fries with a spicy aioli. Even my meat-eater husband raved about it, and ended up eating half after claiming to not be hungry. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I loved Victoria! My favorite movie is the Princess Bride and their cocktail menu is themed after the movie The drinks were delicious and the restaurant was so much fun and cute! I had a chicken sandwich which is now my favorite chicken sandwich and I will be coming again just for it! The service was great too!

Just moved to the area about two months ago and love finding new spots where the staff makes you feel incredibly welcome. Felix was awesome and had good vibes from first walking in. Explained the whole spot, went through the menu. I came specifically to try the new Italian sandwiches on homemade schiacciata bread...just went to Italy again in march and have been craving these type of sandwiches since. Straight up on the food. Fries are insane - best I've had in a while Salad - meh. Didn't hit Sandwiches: Super delicious. Great taste. Great portions. I'm not sure if the drive (30ish mins) did it but the outside of the bread on each side wasn't as crispy as I've been accustomed to. I put it in a pan for 1 minute on each side and it was perfect. For the first day, this was a smashing success for me. Palate wise ...very happy. Not ever gonna tell a chef what to do but if you can perfect just a little crispier bread, it's an absolute grand slam. Either way thank you all. Looking forward to another visit!

I came for the vegan brunch on a Sunday at around 9:45am. When I sat at the bar to order, the bartender asked me if I wanted mine vegan. I made the mistake of assuming everything on the brunch menu was vegan, but I guess it can be made vegan or not vegan. Good thing he asked me! David ordered the Humboldt Burrito and I ordered the Victoria Breakfast. Mine came with tofu scramble, vegan sausage, biscuits and gravy, and country potatoes. The biscuit and the gravy were both SO GOOD. The housemade sausage tasted like meat to me, so I didn't like it at all. (I've been vegan for 25 years so things that are too meaty are not for me.) Next time, I'll order the biscuit and gravy and the tofu scramble from the sides menu and skip the sausage and potatoes. I like how much outdoor seating they have because I was able to find a spot in the corner where my reactive doggo could sit without her anxiety being triggered (see my pics). The bathrooms were very clean, and the bartender was super nice. Finding street parking was easy. This place is great. Too bad they aren't 100% vegan, but I would for sure go back.

This is a must try brunch when you're in Portland! It's a quaint, hipster restaurant with upbeat yet rustic vibes. Must try's: - breakfast burrito (the hashbrowns were perfectly crispy, eggs were fluffy, the sauce was essential) - French toast (berries were incredible) and there was a thick slab of whole wheat bread that was crispy on the outside. Chik'n and waffles were average but still enjoyable. The chickn was vegan but tasted pretty realistic! Service was decent but would mainly be back for food!

Staff are friendly, drinks are good, place is big-lots of seating options. I've been here twice and both times I think, huh, I'll have to remember to come back here. The vegan chicken sandwich is soooo good. My only question is what exactly is the theme? Drinks are named after The Princess Bride, there is a big ship and captain pictures around-am I just not cool enough to get it? lol.

    Vegan waffles and chicken

Was excited to see that Brunch was served until 3pm on weekends. Happily ordered the vegan chicken and waffles, and was quickly disappointed. Dry chicken strips topped on a very dense waffle and a small sauce cup of compote and syrup followed by the same amount of butter. Pretty bummed and felt like I spent a lot of money for mediocre dryness

These fans they have on the bar look like Snoopy wearing a WWII army helmet with a second helmet on top of that! Enjoy

The huge covered heated patio/deck is amazing. Under one of the heaters I was warmer than inside (of note: I'm ALWAYS cold). Big beautiful wall of liquors. I just came for a nightcap so didn't even look at food menu but my cocktails were spot on.

    Seasonal salad ($17)
    Ariel W.

I got the seasonal salad and while the presentation was nice, for $17 I guess I was expecting a little more. The salad was barely seasoned with like 5 edamame and a couple pistachios and about 5 small citrus segments. This salad did come with a sizable piece of burrata, but still kinda just felt like a pile of greens with mild cheese piled on top and overall flavorless and not really satisfying. My partner got the pesto chicken wrap for $14 which doesn't come with a side or anything and was also was kinda bland. Otherwise staff were friendly and the patio is maybe the only reason to come back for another visit.

this is my favorite bar in portland. the Princess Bride-themed cocktail menu is incredible and so creative, and the buffalo cauliflower is an absolute can't-miss (even for someone who isn't plant based). Outdoor seating is covered and very warm in the winter!

Vegan chicken and waffle, NA negroni...

We stop in every time we're in Portland. Being a vegan (with food sensitivities) and a non-drinker with dogs our options are limited (obviously), so to find a place like Victoria is pretty special. The service is always great. Friendly, present, genuine and welcoming. The dog policy "good dogs allowed inside, NO BARKING" saved us from the 100 degree heat outside. The NA cocktails are always beautiful, balanced and expertly crafted and the Vegan chicken and waffle was pure love. My gluten intolerance just had to work it out, I was not going to skip that deliciousness. NO REGRETS. A bonus is the great soundtrack. Victoria Bar ticks all the boxes. We love it.

    Victoria breakfast (vegan)

I like the location, there's a ton of seating both inside and outside, and the bartenders were very welcoming. I got quick service and the found the prices reasonable. My Irish coffee was tasty. But the food was just not good at all. I'll come back for drinks, but I would not eat here again.

Aspen greets me like an old friend, a happy welcome into an expansive, ethereal space that feels more like LA than (perennially in the 90s) Portland. Low lounge & hi-top tables surround an open-air kitchen - transparency in the atmosphere as well as their "nose-to-tail" cooking techniques. The bar is long and dotted with glowing agate votives, vines extending down over a broad selection of booze (whisky & bourbon by style, including Japanese). One menu offers cheeky cocktails, mocktails, and a wide variety of Willamette bottles + a broad selection of European & South American wines. Another menu presents Cold dishes/RAW bar/Small Plates & Larger (sharing recommended). First course is a bluefin TUNA SASHIMI (butchered in-house with absolute precision) alongside a Serrano black sugar tamari (RIDICULOUS blend of salty/umami/spicy/sweet and smartly balanced by THICK-cut servings of tuna & chutoro (3x3). The fresh fish shines, as does explosive flavor in the sauce. Brilliant, bravo! Second, bartender recommends a house-favorite DUMPLING - this is one like never before, blending Linguiça (a Portuguese sausage), leeks, and cabbage that has a familiar texture within tissue-thin rice dumplings, but completely original umami, especially paired with the Japanese curry. It's wholesome and comforting, not too filling, and entirely new. THIRD if I MAE (pronunciation, questionable) - LAMB SPARE RIBS in a heaping portion with sweet/spicy tamarind sticky sauce that's barely reminiscent of BBQ, a perfect counter-balance to fatty, slightly gamey lamb. It's the cilantro herb salad on top & green olive tapenade that make it sing - textures and flavors are exotic, playful, herbal & funky (in a good way) all at once. Whether you're seeking a hot date night, a special staycation (right here in the Historic Arts District), or hosting a board meeting, there is space and plenty of taste for all, with a refinement in technique characteristic of larger cities. A sweet and savory reminder that family is a state of mind, and we're all connected for better or worse.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

There are a few dining tables inside if you're planning to have a meal as well. The bartender was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me after I asked for a few recommendations. The drinks were excellent, well-balanced, flavorful, and actually tasted like proper cocktails instead of just juice. They definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol either!
